something i interfering with my screen when i use my cell during charging!
i mean if i hit the "A" button on the keyboard, some other keys also get pressed, this happens only during charging... if m trying to zoom, d pic changes or option popup comes out!
EVERYTHING IS MESSED UP!
Had to disconnect my charger when writting this !!!
ANYBODY HAVE AN IDEA WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING TO MY SCREEN?!!?
Capacitative touch screens work by transferring a small amount of charge to the users fingers...
So maybe while charging, there are some dust particles which take up some charge, hence fooling your phone to believe that it was your finger...
Wipe your screen with a damp (NOT wet) cloth...and then again try...

lol NO, that is lame! touchscreen manufactures are smart enough to eradicate such possibilties.. if you are right then why does this happen only during charging? charged particles are evrywhere in atmosphere!

I suggested that as sometimes it does happen with me...
Only during charging, since the voltage is more fluctuating during charging...
Idk maybe I'm wrong, no expert here...

Sante madre de dios!
I have no idea why is it happening during charging only >.<
dumbass samsung closed their service center here -_-
it is happening by the amount of voltage the mobile getting while charging with some specific method
like while charging with my own PC I don't get this problem but when I charge my mobile with my brother's PC I get the touch problem
so change the charger or the PC by which your charging
Yes happened while connected to USB

oh well thanx a lot bro
gonna change the charger then :d
I don't think so it would be a charger problem if you are using the samsung (genuine) charger. Try charging at some other ports.

yes buddy they are correct this is because of the water, use hair drier or similar one which blows hot air then blow some hot air through charger pin so that it will drain the water in the mobile....
Note: use this for just few seconds or else it may damage the other parts...

Step One:
Dear, you can ask the SSC executive that if its so, then when I connect the charger or USB how does it working smoothly..?
The SSC guys are seriously Nuts. They just want to drag the matter from there soldiers to the customers. so, don't become fool from them. Ask them to give proper reason. Be clever & ask them to give proper response else you will report a case in Consumer Court.
Step Two:
If its correct as per MJ, then do what MJ said & Praise to GOD.
Ooopssss !!! this guy say he never dropped his phone into water but SSC say, it has been damaged...
guys, i have a question, i frequently, clean my screen with water or colin (sometimes),

the problem was there & the device was running fine in this condition from two to three months but today my device is completely stopped not turning on i tried everything removing the battery & replacing the battery connecting to the pc's but it is of no use it is completely dead. I think I shall have to visit once again to the service center. I am afraid here the service centers are not good (KSA) they just want to fool me once again here there are no consumer courts to log a complaint for them i just have to befell what they say. so i am here to look if the same problem have face by anyone.

I am having the same problem as tanveer4m. the touch will become responsive only when charging. In addition, the charging indicator is kept flashing eventhough i'm not connecting it to any power source. so, when the charging indicator is flashing, the phone is responding well, but when the battery reach below 20%, the charging indicator will not shown and the phone will become irresponsive. Can anyone help me with the problem?
i am currently using blueberry rom, and i tried to change to titanium kernel but the problem still persist.

last night, my phone was overheating. and then i'm trying to cool it down by putting it in front of a fan. when i use my phone, my scrolling is error. it stops when my thumb/fingers is not touching ( do you get it ? :silly: ) . on a normal phone, the screen keeps scrolling even if my finger/thumbs not touching and slow down until stops. but not with my phone. it just stops without slowing down...
can anyone help me ? :fingers-crossed:
sorry for my bad english
Try restarting??
And JB has higher inertia while scrolling. That means if you scroll lightly, it will stop very fast, unlike Gingerbread 2.3.x.
Also, a possible cause might be that you were charging. XL has a slightly aberrant scrolling response while charging, most likely due to the interference caused by the charging battery.
Yes. It worked

Hi!
I noticed this problem with mine too. I was charging my phone and using it on Facebook. Scrolling worked fine but when mi finger was on the screen (just touching the screen, no scrolling), the image went up and down. It looked like the screen didn't know what to do.
But I was not using the charger given in the box, I was using an older one given with my Xperia Mini Pro from 2011.
When I use the charger given in the box, there is no problem.
I've seen this problem on X10 Mini Pro too.

I don't know where it comes from, sorry.
as far as I know, it happens with all chargers. But maybe it just escapes attention sometimes? The charging battery affects the capacitive touchscreen response.

When I saw this "problem" I let the phone charging with my "older" charger. But when it was finished, I tried it with the new one. I went on every application that need to scroll but all was right.
It may be something with electricity quality, like speakers which have interference... (That's just an idea)
yeah. It happens only sometimes. I suspect when the phone draws considerable charge from battery, and the battery from the charger, resulting in higher electromagnetic interference.

yesterday night as the battery was low i thought to put it off and i turned it off (very hard to turn it off as it touched anything) and at the day i found some sound coming from mobile (the selection sound was on from the sound profile) then i saw it was doing sms and the keyboard was swiftkey it was swypeing all around (has ghosts are doing it)
Plz help
Tried different rom but it was all around and in recovery also the touch sometimes stop responding (TWRP)
[Solved]
Shown it to the Service Center and replaced the touch screen...[Solved]
Hey try flashing cwm recovery as it is not touch sensitive i.e. u have to use ur volume keys and power key to operate it.
Then flash other custom roms and if nothing happens u can flash stock rom via sp flash tools to get ur warranty back. Then u can get it repaired via service centre.

I got same problem, then i observed that this happens whenever i repeatedly charge my phone nearby my television. Then i stop doing this. I switched off my phone, took battery out kept it like this for 3-4 hours. then switched on. it showed very little ghost touches at first. after 1 days of using phone without charging near by television, GHOST TOUCH completely dissapeared, Since then(2 months) i didn't experienced such Ghost Touches. Hope information may help.
Good observation:thumbup:

exactly causes of electro-magnetic radiation..
I had a similar problem. I was told at the service center that it is because of sweat or water on the finger tips. After a few weeks display became corrupted. This was not covered under warranty and had to be paid for (Rs. 2200/-). Now 1 month after changing display, touch has become non responsive. This was happening in cold climes only(Bangalore) or when I spent the night in a A/C room. Used to correct itself on exposure to sunlight for 10-15 mins. Today I took it to the service center and he fixed it so that touch stopped working all together. Now I'll have to send it for replacement which will take 25-30 working days. Should never have bought Mmx. Cheap Chinese rebranded stuff.
did you finally get your device back from the service centre?
In how many days did they finally return your phone?

Since the problem is not created by you, you shouldnt be charge anything. The phone also needs to be within the warranty period.
The same issue happened with my friend and his phone was under warranty. He was not charged anything. However he go the phone after 47 days.

@Killer.shubham i think 2 things you should never do, keep the phone close to television, fridge or microwave, it can misbehave. Always use an original charger if possible, those chinese ones can cause this, i have had the same problem with my Blackberry. That dup charger used to even charge faster but later on when i realised what damage it was doing, i stopped using it.

Does the issue persist if you use a charger with a lower amperage output? Or another charger in general? Or when charging from connected to a computer?
What kind of charger does the issue occur with? And does it occur if you connect directly to a computer?
