Is your TF101 rooted or are you running the stock ROM?
Is it fully charged?
It is worth fixing as there are ROMs for the TF101 at the moment which give it a brand new lease of life!

Sounds like a low battery to me.

Can you still boot to recovery using VOL DOWN and POWER, then VOL UP when you see the RCK message?
Also, keep in mind that tool has not been updated in over a year so the recovery is a bit outdated. Did you try flashing any ROM or anything other than the SuperSU.zip?
Are you using a TF101G? If not, we should be able to restore it with NVFlash if necessary.

[Q] Question for SL101 Slider

Ok, so I noticed that there isn't a topic for this made, so i'll just ask under the Transformer Q&A.
I don't see a lot of people asking. But basically here's what I got:
My SL101 slider is rooted, well it was at least the last time it worked. I had it rooted, and attempted to install acer recovery from the market. Installed and I had it install cwm. I restarted the tablet, and that's where it goes wrong.
It sticks at the Asus loading screen. I have the ability to boot using volume up + power, and volume down + power, but nothing appears to work.
I wiped the data, do you think it would be just easier to return it to asus and say it doesn't boot after installing the firmware update, it's still within warranty? :\
Another Question.
Ok, so is there anyway to use the latest asus blob to reinstall the entire os? I've heard that if you have the blob from the asus website it can be used to reinstall the entire system. Any thoughts?
Just out of curiosity,,,,,Can you use "Acer" recovery tools on "Asus" tablets?

Sounds to me like you guys got a bad download. Not sure but if you know how to flash back to honeycomb i would give that a try and then redownload the update.
To flash back to honeycomb download your proper region from here
http://www.asus.com/Eee/Eee_Pad/Eee_Pad_Transformer_TF101/#download
Then UNZIP the zip file that came from asus
Copy the asus/update/ww-epad-user8.6.5.21.zip file to your microSD
Copy the ww-epad-user8.6.5.21 file to the root of your microSD
Rename the file to EP101-SDUPDATE.zip. (this is case sensitive must be caps)
Reboot to recovery by pressing vol down and power while the tab is off
When you see the text press vol up
Edit : if this works it should bring you back to honeycomb. This is also assuming you cannot get into clockworkmod.

I have the same problem, turning the TF101 off.
After a while when I look at it, its hanging on the boot screen and the circle is not spinning.
A reboot helps.
Could it be one of my news reader News360, Puls or a app like email, Friendfinder or Overlook Wiz?
These apps are always active and synch themselves at given times.
I have a few browser shortcuts. In a folder on my homescreen, after a crash like this, the shortcut icons are replaced with green android icons.

It is not a case of bad downloads. CWM or OTA, it doesn't matter, my TF is random rebooting on ICS. Honeycomb runs just fine. My report is consistent with that of other people. There IS a problem with the update, but it seems to only affect some units.

If it's the problem i hope for other update from Asus to fix it :-(

i don't think is a bad download , 2 day straight after the update i had no problems ... now on 24 hours i had 3 reboot , 1 time hang at the Asus logo and 1 time my tf went into a some kind of bootloop ... after the download of ics update is a check file verification before the start .
so i think the problem is in ICS or a combination of ICS + some packages or some problem in kernel .

No problems for me too. Chrome is awesome. Not had one fc or random reboot.

another problem is that battery is drain faster ... but the ics is smooth and apps works great ... no fc or other problems ... i'm waiting for a revolver release

How many who have had reboots logged into g+ app?
Had been using this heavily without issues till I signed into g+. Soon after I signed in and turned off screen it rebooted and stuck at Asus screen. Held power till it restated wiped data from g+ (and never logged back in) and it hasn't happened again so far. It might be a far cry to what may be causing reboots. But I didn't have any problems till then. And I don't seem to have them now, battery is good if not better, I love it just hope it doesn't reboot again.

I agree with you, i notice one thing, battery in ICS is better then honeycomb, but after this problem it start drain faster, i don't know why, in battery settin i see "active", what is it?
As you can see, sometimes wifi is off, display is off, tab is in standby but "attivo" in english active, is still running

B50 US TF, Wipe after update.
I have just suffered the boot loop. I had to push vol- and power to get into recovery. Once there I powered off, then on again, and everything went back to normal.
I don't beleive it has something to be with the dl. There's something wrong...

The battery was drain because the screen was on at asus logo for an hour or so and went from 76% to 34%. I don't think is a battery issue with ics, just freezing at one point with screen on.

It's definitely in the update, most probably the kernel, since the bug is triggered when the device enters the deep sleep state. And probably not an app, because even after a wipe and NOT configuring a Google Account, the problem persists.

I have a stock B50 which updated successfully, no reboots or power drain issues. Make sure the tab is fully charged and plugged in to the charger before updating, it takes a long time so be patient. When it's done, it will beep and show the lockscreen. I hope the root is not causing the problem.
Same problem here, had a boot loop a day or two ago just as described in the first post. No need to go to recovery, just held the power button in until the tablet switched off, then waited a few seconds, and powered back on. I hadn't shut it down before the issue started, though, it just spontaneously rebooted and got stuck in the boot loop by itself when I wasn't around. No idea how long it had been going when my wife found it.
Spontaneous reboots were *very* rare for me on Honeycomb, and I never saw a boot loop before at all
I'm on a stock, unrooted US-market TF101-B1, and wiped both before and after installing ICS. Barely any programs had been added to the stock install when the boot loop happened...
My wife's did this today. Never rooted, it got the OTA update to ICS yesterday with no factory reset, and had been running flawlessly until the bootloop this morning. I held the power button until it reset, its been fine since. It happened exactly as described in the OP. Something is broken in the ICS ROM.

Transformer going insane

So, Recently a family member of mine told me something was wrong with their transformer. I take a look at it and it's not turning on so i assume it's not charged. I plug in the charger and it does not boot up. The transformer only goes to the eeepad screen with the asus logo and shuts off again. Basically it's in a bootloop but problem is, the tf101 is not rooted or tampered with and on stock fw (Tf101 is a b90 model) Anything i can do to fix??? Couldn't have been any sort of virus either as this transformer was only used for video streaming/ listening to music...

It might need to be reflashed. You could try using the wheelie tool, but the internal storage will be wiped. Sounds like a softbrick.

I had exactly the same problem this week . . . this solved it:

Reflash with NvFlash. Best idea as of now
Hey there,
I have nearly the same problem but my transformer just gets the first screen and then it tries to reboot.
I tried to reflash it with EasyFlasher but it didnt work. Is there a chance that your way will work?
If you can get ADB peri Might work, but just manually do it with NvFlash.
thanks, i'll try that when I hit back home in three days...
It is possible to get it in APX mode, so just put it on and flash?
Do you know why such a big problem occurs? It was on stock firmware and rooted for the last 5 months...
I'm starting to think my issue is related to condensation.
I started leaving the transformer in my bedroom, since my wife gave her tablet to her mother and is now using my transformer to read.
I was happy on HC, stock, non-rooted. My tablet was working with no issues for 3 months, give or take.
But then I started having random reboots and boot loops. Tried almost all roms for the transformer, same issue. Worked fine on the day I installed, got me bootloops the next day.
Today I thought about condensation after getting another round of boot loops and noticing my tablet screen with a bit of humidity. The temperature difference from my bedroom with A/C to my living room with no A/C can get to 15 or 20 celsius.
So I got the bootloop again today and instead of nvflashing the hell out of it as I have been doing, I put it in APX mode (since I have no recovery ATM, so I couldn't power it off) and leave it resting for 3 hours in room temperature. After that I rebooted it and it is now stable again. I will try to confirm those suspicious, but right now it sounds a lot like it for me. It never slept in the bedroom during the 3 months I was in HC.

I'm really not sure, but yes just download a stock nvflashable fw (xdafileserver.nl has some good ones) and put in nvflash mode and run reflash_sbkv#.bat (be sure to import wheelie into the stock fw folder and overwrite)
--
Regarding condensation, that's odd, but mabye. ..
Thanks, i'll try this when I am at home.
It is in APX mode but the computer doesnt recognise it... it says unknown device...
What shall i do?
That means the drivers are wrong/bad. Did you install any? You need the Universal Naked Drivers. (Search the tf themes and apps forum)
I installed the Asus PC Suite which means that drivers are inclueded, but I am going to search here if you say they are here.
Anyways, I can not find them there...
No, asus drivers is not what you need, you want the universal naked drivers: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1514942&highlight=universal+naked
well, that sounds quite nooby but how to install this drivers... i see several different files but absolutley no exe...
it is so embarrassing...
pnputil -a android_apxdriver.inf (or whatever the inf is called)
then plug in the tf
I opened it but nothing changes... the transformer in apx mode is still an unknown device
Have you tried 'update driver' in device manager, then point to the folder with the apx driver?
sure...
same problem with rebooting
I have exactly same problem...! My TF101 is B70 model and NVFlash not work with this model and higher... How I can fix it? is Megatron 1.1.6 installed on tablet and I have rom on sdcard, but reinstall rom not helped me, also wipe + reinsatll...
any ideas?

ok , but what i must do now ?
I had the same issue( and so have others) but all have been able to be fixed one way or another. So no panicing, :fingers-crossed:you'll get your baby back in working order just going to take some reading. Get a cup of coffee, take a deep breath and read you'll find your answer. In my case I had flashed with CWM recovery, turnes out that almost always ends up being stuck at bootlogo . If you Power off with a long press on the power button then hold volume down and power button you'll get the bootloader menu, volume up on the RCK and you'll be back in recovery. For me I just had to fastboot connected to my computer and push TWRP then boot to that, then flashed, rooted version of Stock 4.1 (found else where in this forum) let it boot once, then when back into TWRP and flashed Hydro, let it boot up the first time, then the Update for Hydro 4.1. Now all is good. Your story might be different but you'll find it if you read.
Exact problem I had. Its cwm messing everything up. Flash team win from fastboot and everything will be OK.

ANOTHER Bricked TF300T

Well guys i don't like to bother with this, i love to read and this isn't the first time i have problem with this tablet.
A beautiful fully functional TF300T just stopped working today.
Lost battery, now when i turn it on ASUS logo stucks, but NO with "device is unlocked" as happened to me with other devices, now the loading circle keeps looping.
I searched US drivers for my tablet (TF300T-US_epad-10_6_1_27_5-UpdateLauncher.zip), downloaded it and renamed to EP300_SDUPDATE.ZIP on a FAT 32 SD card.
When i press on + vol down, fastboot enables but RCK says ERROR.
Please, can anybody give me a quick hand? In a few hours i leave on my first vacations in ages and TF300T was goin to be a great member of the team.
THANKS.
I picked up a bricked one and with out too much reading I just did a factory reset with in the boot loader.. no 3 on the menu... what ever was wrong with the internal Rom seemed to come good and it booted.. So maybe you could read a little about this and try.. but bummer it happened before you go away as nothing more painful as you would have had it setup with movies and reading.. but anyway.. thats how I got this one to work... once I had it factory reset, then I flashed new Roms to it.. Actually it wasnt unlocked either and had to get Asus to reset thier database so I could unlock it..
