so "hundreds" do not have to do this by there own.
and by the way, you are able to reference to your simple/script procedure again.

I advise everybody to read the .bat file in this zip and learn how to do it manually. Use fastboot without training wheels. It's not rocket science.

hi sbdags,
ok, will try it..
did everything as you describe in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2646279 post #1
*) download the 2.8.0.1 blob file from: http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/tf700t
*) rename the file to recovery.blob (this overrites your blob file)
than..
2. Connect your TF700 Infinity to your PC over USB
3. Ensure that USB debugging is enabled in Settings : Developer Settings (hint go to build number in about ROM and click it 7 times)
4. Navigate to the Install Recovery folder in Windows Explorer and double click Recovery Install Tool.bat
5. Your tab will auto reboot to the bootloader / fastboot menu and install the recovery - TWRP 2.7.1.1
6. When finished it will reboot back to Android.
as I can see all Win7 drivers (asus adb, asus mobile device) are loaded correctly..
but the "adb reboot recovery" leads me allways to the "RCK ANDROID WIPE" menu on the tab
so the bootloader will not be installed.
on same PC I installed the 2.7.1.1 with your script some time ago - this worked perfect.
best regards

Questions & Answers:
Q: Do I need root access to install and use MultiRecovery?
Q: How to disable Sony RIC on Xperia M2?
A: Yes. The root is mandatory. EagleRootTool_20160531 * is my recommendation for a successful completion of these tasks (on Android 5.1.1).
Q: Do I need to 'install' any pre-rooted flashable.zip beforehand?
A: No. This is an optional feature and is there for if and when you’d ever like to try it.
Q: Is it possible to flash any custom ROM?
A: Yes. On unlocked bootloader you can flash a custom kernel with this tool, included.

What about 18.3.1.C.1.13 4.4.4 firmware?
Not tested for now .
Yes, it is tested and works on recent (18.3.1.C.1.13) version.
Edit:
Please note that for proper installation Sony RIC protection must be disabled( the related source code can be found here ) .

The recoveries from first post are assembled and designed to be used on locked bootloader, recent additions of TA and modem partitions is only for backup purposes.
The builds linked here can be used on unlocked devices with stock based Android ROM's.
I test it out my own, but if fail... Can i restore stock? Is this kernel or only recovery?
Edit!
Working and Device succesfully booted up
Working on 18.3.1.C.1.13 4.4.4 firmware
This is an only one fresh compiled PhilZ Touch recovery, you can make and restore backup to your android, e.g. KitKat 4.4 - 18.3.1.C.0.21.
Also you can use PRFCreator to create a pre-rooted stock firmware, and then flash with this recovery.
I hope this will be useful for people who can't unlock their BL for some reason/restriction, but want to have the possibility to use a custom Android recovery.
May try this over the weekend if I get time. Need a recovery on my m2, as currently rooted on 18.1.3.c.0.21 with no recovery.
Installed no problems now have a working recovery thanks:thumbup:

Basically it is made to work with a Locked Bootloader, so that most likely it will not work correctly without some extra work.
Tried this method, not booting into recovery
I can see the Cyan LED, but no there's no effect with all button combinaison....
Hi @NoobZik
The button is the last thing for what you need to worry about.
Can you please post :
Your kernel version.
The method you are using to disable RIC kernel module.
The contents of a log file located at /cache/recovery/last_log right after a failed recovery boot attempt.
p.s.
And if there is still some misunderstanding :
This recovery is for Locked Bootloader

Assume that you have installed correctly Superuser or SuperSU, and RIC is disabled.
Check if this files exist for you after installation:
Code:
/system/bin/recovery.cpio
/system/bin/e2fsck ( this file should be a script )
/system/bin/e2fsck.bin
/system/bin/recovery.sh
Try reinstall your current busybox with this script.

Wait for 10-15 mins so that you'll see something like 'Optimizing Apps'.

Just flash TWRP using the app "Flashify" from Play Store
Recovery
Flashing by flashify will leads to permanent replacement of cyanogen recovery with TWRP due to which i will not be able to get updates . I have to reflash my cyanogen recovery once again to get updates
Thanks
Sir using of flashify completely removes ur stock recovery with the custom one .......
I am saying can we use a tempory recovery ( hotboot like ) to install xposed .... Is there is any need of a fixed custom recovery for its functioning....
Can this be done : Like use temporary twrp that vanishes on reboot to flash closed and use stock cyanogen recovery for its later functioning
Self explaining :highfive:

1. Unlock bootloader via MiUnlock software for PC (you have to wait at least 168 hours)
2. Flash TWRP recovery img via fastboot
3. Download and put into internal memory magisk.zip installer (you need version 20.4 or newer)
4. Install this zip via TWRP
5. Boot into the system and download Magisk Manager apk (version 8.0.3 or newer) then install it.
6. Voilà. That's all [emoji106]

Putting your post in large bold letters makes you look like a troll, not like you have an urgent issue.
Firmware, http://mifirm.net, twrp at the same place
