[GAME][1.0+] Colorex

New version of the old good game "Colorex" from 90-ties for PCs under MS DOS, which is clone of Tetris"(tm), was published in Google Play. In this game the goal is to make lines of the same color vertically, horizontally or diagonally. Each brick consist of different colors, which can be shifted in real time. In Android version, some of bricks are flexible and modifiable on the fly. In real time you can decompose bricks into two or more pieces, and drop them in their suitable places on the base.
There are many parameters that can be changed - the size of the track, brick style, wallpapers, number of colors in a row, number of colors you play, upward shift (up to 3 times per brick), brick helping shadow, etc.
You can shift the position of the colors in the brick by scrolling up on the left area of the screen.
To shift the brick upwards you have to scroll up on the right area of the screen.
Also you can swap current brick with the next one by tapping on the next brick at the top of the screen.
The performance of the game concerning battery saving is remarkable - wasting the battery two times less than the other major games of this type.

OK. Please, move it back. Even without link the unique names "Colorex", "Fleximino", "Flexicolor" in Google play are something almost like a links.... And for now I can't publish real links, as I understood.
It is like a column in a table in RDBMS, which is not a primary key (id), but has a constraint on it "UNIQUE"....

Hello I am anonymou$ for beta testers forum.
I would like to share my experience.
Firstly the riddles and brain teasers are new and good so changes in them except that u can make it multiple choice instead to typing cause for some teasers u can't enter the answer.
Next I feel you should keep the add bar down and not in the middle.
See the screen shot down, there is an error in the message. You should say keep the ads or PAY 350 coins.
Then in the second photo you can see my score but actually I never typed anything I was was just 3 times clue button that I pressed nd still why am I getting the score so please correct that by adding either score to computer or limiting the clues per riddle this way u can charge the player to get extra clues fro market.
Otherwise I did not find any other mistakes.

[Q] Leaderboard highscores on googleplay bug or hack

Hi folks,
First of all apology to Mods as this question is little off-topic and silly. Couldn't find the right place to post so posted over here.
I have seen on on Google play that for many famous games like flappy bird,fruit ninja,temple run etc. people who top the leader-board have ridiculous high scores..I am attaching a screenshot of flappy bird leaderboard as an example.
Ok,so I googled and found out that if I edit a certain .xml file for flappy bird then I can manipulate my score.I tried,say I modified it to 25500 and it worked.
BUT
the score shows as my local score i.e. that modified score is limited to my device.My score that I see on leader-board is 26 which is a legit score.
NOW my question is,
1) do these people some how gain access to Google servers,where high score for each individual is stored and modify it ?
2) OR modify some other game file to so that the score uploaded is the high score..
I doubt my 1st assumption is stupid but still,had it in my mind so had to ask it.
PS- I don't want to be on top of leader board but just had this curiosity to know cause I saw the same scenario on iOS's GameCenter too..

There's an app called gameguardian that does edit XML files too while running the game but to answer your question I have no idea.

I know about this app. What makes me curious is to know that how on earth do people manipulate scores that reside on some server.

I have seen the same thing in Google Play Games! I added one of them to my Google+ and asked how he did. He said, he will never tell the secret. Although I saw thousands of similar high score owners in Games Play Games.
No one is reveling how it is being done. I think they have contact with Google!
Until someone give us a clue, hacking Google Play Games Achievements and Leaderboards will remain a God level secret!

For reasons I don't fully understand (well, anti-spam policy), I couldn't post any link or pictures, so thanks a lot @kirito9 for adding the link.
About the 9gags comments, well, I'm an avid 9gagger (it ruins 1 hour of my sleep every night...), so I decided to show off my game to the community and ask them for update's material suggestion. And I got a LOT of ideas coming from it:

I must say the idea is a bit overused, but I really liked the graphics. A lot.
When I played it I failed to see some type of qualitative progression. A great improvement would be to change the scenes dynamically as if they were levels (sky then sea then land then volcanoes then...) but it might take you a lot to add many scenarios with other objects than rocks. Maybe with other landscapes you can add moving objects and increase the variety.
Meanwhile, if Unity supports tilt movement you can add it.

@randomlabs Thanks. For sure, the concept isn't new. It's really really close to a "Race the Sun" for example, but I wanted the environments a bit more real, less etheric.
I plan on adding more environments and planes. A "story" mode, where you have to finish all levels in a row with at least 2000 points is a very good idea. I'll consider that kind of udpate.

Hopefully this post is not against the rules of the community. If something is off please let me know so i can remove it/fix it.
Riddle tower is a game i always wanted to make but having close to no free time it was really hard to start learning unity. The last 3 months i got some free time and now i published it at Google play store.
I understand this game is not for everyone but i am sure that everyone who played these kind of riddle games in the past will get a nostalgic feeling.
I am more than happy to listen to your feedback and also i can keep this thread as a small walkthrough to the game to help anyone who is stacked with some hints.

Hi, installed your game, great graphics and layout and quite hard from the outset which isn't a bad thing. I think I got stuck on first level the answer being quite straightforward but I was putting a space between the word and number which was wrong but sort of right imho.
Agree adverts are necessary to support you, but having one between every level was bit much for me at least.

Thanks a lot i really appreciate your feedback.
I think i will remove ads on the first 4-5 levels for example because in the beginning the user will move on faster but on the stages later it will take much longer time to pass a level.
Of course if you play more and you feel like it a review on the store will mean the world to me.

May you share some tips on how to create a game like this? I mean did you find any templates or you have to start from scratch ?

Sure
The thing is i don't know if there is a template or something like this (there are templates for sure out there) but i think its better to start on your own because even if you get a fully working template when an error happens (and believe me in Unity you can get an error out of nowhere) then you will have a hard time fixing it.
Youtube and Unity forum can be a great start

20 Dec Update
Fixed some animation issues with broken animations which made the game unplayable under certain circustances.
I would really love if you played the game and you can post any questions here or if you need any hints.

Sorry for the late reply. I was working on many new levels and today i uploaded it to the store.
Added season 2 of the game with more than 200+ new levels spread across all categories.
So as far as level 15 of the main story you have to find a sum and maybe it's the same on all corners

Fixed many issues with animations that were broken on some devices and optimized it as much as possible to run on every single mobile out there
Next month plan is to add 150 new levels on all categories and slowly progress with season 3 main story.
The plan is for 4 seasons and a secret ending for anyone brave enough to solve all the 650 riddles that are going to be available on the game.
