So I saw a few others besides myself asking about how to obtain the custom wallpapers featured on the MotoMaker website (or get your own custom one back if you reset the phone). As far as I know, the answer seems to be: you can't. So I thought why not kick things off and upload my MotoMaker wallpaper in case someone else wanted it. If enough other people do the same, we should be able to collect most if not all of them (I think there's only like 20 choices maybe). So to anyone else who has one of the MotoMaker wallpapers, if you could post yours here it would be much appreciated
Hmm. How do you extract it ?

I think what I ended up doing was just opening the photo with the Gallery app instead of the wallpaper chooser, and then I was able to put it on Dropbox. I'm sure there's probably an easier way

I've been seeing screens with these custom lockscreens. How do I go about getting some of these? Do I have to create them myself? Sorry if I sound like a total newbie. I'm probably gonna be stuck with my Hero for another year because of Sprint's changes. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Most people use widget locker in order to get a custom lock screen. It's a paid app though.

I'm on my phone at work right now, so I can't search for any links. But currently I'm running aospCmod 3/26. If you could post different lockscreens with screens that would be great. I'm just getting bored with the vanilla lockscreen. Thanks om advance for any help.

now if you just want an alternate lockscreen there is a few lockbot is the best but i will say its very laggy and half the time your system lockscreen overrides it
I really just want something that actually replaces the stock screen. Whenever up tried using lockscreen apps they tend to be buggy and... like you said, the stock screen overrides the app. I just want something flashable that overrides the stock screen, not the other way around.
I haven't had time to search for anything but will try tomorrow.

I've not seen any actual lock screen replacements. Cm7 has about 5 different styles but i haven't seen any replacement lock screens in a while since everyone was putting vanilla lock screens on sense
¿dpeeps74?
word, using widget locker is legit, paid for app but its great!! I have 3 different widgets on the screen and it's only not worked like once but i think it was a phone issue not the actual program.
Hi All,
If you are one who loves photography or takes lots of pictures (of family, trips etc), you might have wondered that if you could use your own awesome taken pictures as wallpaper for your android device, well here is a free version of such application.
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.nettech.android.awallpaper.free.main&feature=search_result
It allows you to select a folder containing all of the pics you want to use, and then set up a schedule, by minutes, by hour, by day or weekly, it will keep on changing wallpaper, quietly without any issues unless you set the app to not repeat...
Please be kind and let me know if there are issues so that we can fix them asap for you.
It should work for most android devices, however screen is optimized up to 4", it will have no problem with larger screen as functionality will work with any device with android =>2.1
Thanks
I was looking for an app like this! Thanks, will check it out!

Used the method you suggested and it worked. I kinda have a question, for a split second when I wake my KF, the default wallpapers that are built into the device show up before the ones I've saved for the DRAPP application. Is there a way that I can completely shut off the default ones?

Hey I'd try deviantart for some wallpapers, I found quite a few good ones. The ones I downloaded came with a variety of size options ranging from phone to tablet. Hope that helped

They are very well. Thank you
I actually use Photo Editor by dev.macgyver. U can get his app at play store, it's free. I used to crop a and combine a few pictures to get my desired lockscreen picture.
It does take some time to get used to it though, so have something soft around so u can bump ur head against it.
For Use With The Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G (T699) Only!
I found many people do not realize how easy it is to change there bootanimation... and I just made it easier!
With this easy to use Aroma Package, simply flash in recovery like any ROM, you will have option to flash a bootanimation to your phone.!
There are plans to add more bootanimations (about 2 dozen right now)
as well as add more options such as sounds, wallpapers, etc. anything that isn't ROM dependent can be added.
This Can Be Used On Any ROM For The Relay! So flash on!
Requests will be taken and feedback is well appreciated, let me know what you're interested in!

I have made similar packages for a few different devices, I was bored so this is just a quick slapped together copy and paste
of parts of my old ones modified to work for the relay. So yes there is a bunch of HTC stuff and random bootanimations that
many probably don't want here
(preview coming too)
As Always,
Happy Flashing!

Very very cool! I would like to use the thundercats carbonrom bootanimation with carimina burana intro (sound from doors soundtrack). Is this doable?

Yeah of course! This is finals week for me so I'll try and fit in some time shortly and add this for you in the next release
Sent from my Nexus 4 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Ok updated, added an option to back current bootanimation and to restore it later
also fixed the wallpaper issue
add more bootanimation - including the one i think you wanted @chuckiev79
added boot sounds but something is off so i removed it - this appears to be different than on other devices i worked on so bear with me
unless any of you know off hand how to add boot sounds specifically for the relay, as in it works when you do it?
anyway, ill look into it all next week,
happy flashing!
Well the sound didn't work for me either. Actually the thundercats carbon bootanimation bootlooped my relay. Currently using the xda bootanimation. If you get the sound thing figured out let me know. I have been trying to figure out sound with boot animation since my sammy epic.

Yeah, I'll need to dig some more about the bootsounds, finals week so not much time right now.
I noticed two of the bootanimations I added I forgot to change the actual image size which seems to be too much for the relay to handle, that's the mashup and carbon thundercats ones, when I get some time I'll fix er up and upload a new build

Sorry, been a bit lazy and have made the gifs for you all to see the options
But its quick and easy to just flash it (like you would any ROM from recovery) and then it will bring you to the aroma ui, from there just pick to backup current bootanimation. Then try some out and worse case scenario you just restore the back up you made.
But if I find the free time I'll make some gifs for you all to see
Happy flashing!

Sure, but I just checked the link and it appears to be working
Thanks so much for this demkantor - works great (although the thundercats bootanimation still sends me to bootloop).
One question - could this app be extended to include the possibility to change the splash screen too? I am loving my omnitoad rom but not a fan of the teamapexq green android splash screen.
Thanks!
Really? I thought I fixed that... I'll check when I get a min
As for the splash screen I have made aroma packages in the past to changes these but for different devices, the way they are set up on this phone makes it impossible as they aren't a separate partition rather in the kernel so a new kernel would need to be flashed
good, next please with freddi cruger
