i ve started this thread to discuss about my new rom "Cosmic Rom" for Galaxy S Dous....
This will be an awesome CM9 styled rom for our phone based on Stock Samsung ICS rom...
this will be highly themed rom with lots of Mods in it...
some of the features are first time released features for our phone like :--
1. 12 statusbar toggles
2. power mode + blocking mode both in one rom...
3. CM9 styled themed + CM9 styled settings..
4. power widget + driving mode widget..
5. many more will discuss them later...

bootlogo means bootanimation ?
if yes then already added that to my rom.
greenify app is available on play store and people can install them easily from there ..
i will not add grenify app but bootlogo is of cm9 styled...

Wow screenshots are amazing. Wishing the performance will also be great. Please remove all the bloatwares. I am currently on kyleopen and satisfied with the performance.
Whats i liked most in your rom is you made notification bar icons useful. I hate thats Samsung blocking mode and scree rotation icons at starting places

here are some things that are much needed by me:
volume button change music tracks
option to boot into recovery
remove wakelocks they drain a lot of battery
sound mod for awesome sound
option for screenshot in power menu
faster dialer if possible
full screen call screen
And a transparent lock screen

I would like to suggest u to focus on pure performance & leave look to stock like or even minimalistic.
There r many others like pmp who try best with theming but when it comes to free ram & speed then sometimes stock even beat them.
I would like at last free 250 Mb ram after app install & this is possible if everything is minimalistic
If u want to provided theme etc give it as add-on package if cwm
Other extra function handy will be-;
14 toggle bar
Transparent lockscreen
Button led support but with battery optimization as it eats battery sometime
Add WiFi direct & hotspot button in status bar
Crossbreader with easy bypass option to bypass operator DNS
& use Google DNS
GPS script mod to help GPS fix quick in India or atleast an add-on for India
Overclock to 1.19 ghz
Good governs & scaling
I think it will made it best
Most important is RAM

This is actually a GioNee GN868.I have uploaded the stock recovery of the a90s to the a90 thread. suugest that this thread be contonued there as there is not going to be any a90 going forward but only a90s

Dear all
Voila. Successful in installing cwm in Micromax A90s finally. for root user only:angel:.
1 install mobile uncle tool from google play store
2 copy the attached cwm recovery image to your SD card
3 open mobile uncle tool and grant superuser permission
4 Flash recovery from SD card
I personally checked so dont worry
its not my work so no thank button for me. Instead please give thanks to the person who discovered it Bhojo1

Get more space in /data !!3GB!! and decimate /sdcard2
So you have a nice big sdcard and the internal /mnt/sdcard2 of 1.9 gb looks like wasted space to you. never fear , with cwm installedand a special update I have created you can get 2.8 GB /data and reduce sdcard2 to 30MB. Note this is for micromax a90s and doing this kind of stuff without understanding can destroy yr phone , ruin your life , force divorce with wife etc... then don't blame me...
procedure...
take full cwm backup ( to be safe take a couple).
then apply the zip from cwm.
after this restore back from the backup...
reboot the phone.
You may have to restore twice. for some reason the first time restore did not work correctly for me , but second time all was fine !!

Actually its a spanish rom based on jelly bean but the configuration almost matches with A90s and a110

Try using Player Pro from the play store. It's my default music player for overa year. And comes with a built-in equalizer.

there is one more way i guess. we might nEed some one who can mod. it worked on karbonn a9 by altering smali files. it might work here.
the resolution bump was quite high. from 320x240 to almost ~720p(i dont have exact value but its less than 720 p)
and lg camera was nt able to shoot at that resolution.
so we might be in luck here

Pls dont do this stupid thing...that JB rom is for Amoi n821 not any other phone...
As because it it same chipset you cant blindly flash the rom...

After installing the ROM and one day of usage. These are my feedback.
First of all, all the applications are properly deodexed. They load pretty fast.
The ui and responsiveness is pretty smooth.
Here are some of the things that probably is worth changing :
Status bar needs to be black for a professional look
Fonts need to the proper droidsans as the current font is too stylish to look professional. Though it can be provided as an option to change go settings though
The background of carrier and clear button needs to be black and the word thundersnap under the clear button does not look that good. You might reconsider placing the Rom name somewhere else though
The messages or any notification appear on a grey background which makes it difficult. To read virtually. This again can be changed to a pitch black one

I think one think that would help you make the ui more pleasing to your taste would be to use the uot kitchen. You can create your own themes and its very easy!

Hi O3DMax likers!
First of all, the P725 base working perfect on P720 (normal, non H version), but of corse the NFC doesn't.
Eklovya, I find litle strange bug in MLT.apk file. This file use many CPU time. Cause of this the governor clocked the CPU at 1GHz minimum. Battery drain fast.
After freezing or deleting the file, the drainage and the high CPU usage disappear, min freqv down to default 300MHz.
My mobile network (2G, 3G also) not working (maybe because the MLT.apk has deleted).
Anything else working like a charm! The batt life very good, after stock ROMs! Many, many thank!
Some info about the stock firmwares. The V10B has lower batt consumption than V10E (P720).

Besides the cosmetic things that were already mentioned One more thing is the network signal bar. When all the bars
are empty or empty with an x on them it looks different then with One or more bars full.

Thanks for such a feedback.
I was puting my time to PORT ICS for p725, p720 ,p720h .
So was unable to make negative points positive one's.
Will try to make it more stable and increase the battery backup.

I believe ICS is better than GB so porting ICS will provide a rom that doesnt have those problem already.

Wow 4200 on 800mhz, the best score I've got is on ics refresh v3 on 1ghz is 4600, so hopefully this rom on my phone should cross 4600 and by the way what is that update? Is it sensors fix?

it is not sensor fixes, as there is no need to fix sensor everything is fine.
the update is for A7 & A7+, without applying that update the rom wont work on these devices plus some few tweaks added

Ahh the update is the boot.img for a7/a7+. Well bro I tested this rom nd I'm pretty impressed with it, it doesn't score as much as ics refresh v3 on benchmarks but it feels smoother so that's what matters, I'm loving the window animations too and the boot time is the best I've seen on any ics rom, the boot time is the same as the stock gb rom I guess very well done, keep up the good work :thumbup:

Solution For Changing Wallpaper through Album:-
The Image Changing option for Gallery is not available as you can see that it's showing Album of Sony and Xperia Wallpaper.
So here is the solution given by Rizal Lovins :-
1) Flash this through Recovery- click here
2) Then wipe Dalvik Cache & Fix Permission.
3) Then Go to Setting --> Lockscreen --> Wallpaper.
4) Then Select Sony Album.
5) Then Select Sony Photo Editor for cropping the Image.
6) Click Done & You are done enjoy.

Off-course yes brother,
After JMP, Suvi is also amongst my favorite so I will, but you have to provide me the android.policy.jar + framework-res.apk + framework.jar from SUVI rom / System/framework.
Please provide me that, and give me 2 days, I will do that for you.....

Note : The ROM comes with A116 boot logo ( Because before replacing it i had started uploading ). Those who need A117 boot logo replace the logo.bin file in this ROM with stock ROM logo.bin and then flash.
-----INSTRUCTIONS------
1) Download ROM zip file
2) Put into external/internal sd card
3) Go to CWM recovery
4) Wipe data/factory reset
5) From advance menu do dalvik cache clear
6) Go in mount and storage select format system
7) Select install from SD card and select file and select yes

GAMING REVIEW.
First boot ram was around 780. Good for gaming
after installing 30 apps got around 450mb ..
HD games work smooth.
Dead trigger 2 (high graphics mod)
NBA 2k14 working smoothly.
The Amazing spiderman working great
PES 2012 working smooth
God of War (PPSSPP) working smoothly
Burnout legends (PPSSPP) working smooth
Flappy bird working great
But Virtua tennis is not working.. when i open it ..it goes to homescreen
WANT to get highscore in flappybird without playing HMU.
BTW i saw "latest kernel" in your post ... you found any new custom kernel or just the stock one ??

Will check with bluehacks and come backl..Though he said walkman and gallery is working ! Could you just try re-flashing the ROM ?

Just confirmed and he hasn't faced any of these problems ! Gallery is working fine and there is a separate app for walkman use that ! Don't use the default music app which gives the option to play with default music player or walkman. If u choose walkman it doesn't work. But the separate walkman app works very fine !
No one else has reported the bug so far ! ( So i guess problem at your end ). Flash as per the instructions and see
