Poetic case give away for Galaxy S4 - Galaxy S 4 Accessories

I have a brand new case that I am giving away!
The case is from Poetic:
Poetic Atmosphere Case for Samsung Galaxy S IV S4 4 Clear/Gray
I will randomly pick one person from the ones who shows me how to change the color of my notification area i.e:
battery, signal strength, etc.
I know it might be a theme issue...either way, call me a newbie... it is what it is...
first one to show me how to do it gets the case, if nobody helps I'll pick at random
This giveaway ends on Sunday night and the winner will be announced at 10PM on this thread.

You probably don't have it but if you install the app it prompts you to download it beforehand if I'm not mistaken. You download the app, install framework button, restart the phone, then check off the wanam module and it should be status bar mods

WHERE DO YOU WANT THE POETIC CASE SENT?

any suggestions?

Don't really mean to hijack this thread but why would xposed and Wanam not work for me? Do you have to have a custom rom?

I'm unsure what needs to be don't to change the battery percentage. There may be different battery options that display percentage though

Still nothing changes. Guess I should make a new thread unless you have another suggestion?

go to Xposed installer and inside modules make sure Wanam Xposed is checked off

sorry if repeated
1-root
2- install xposed framework
2a- hit install
3-reboot
4-install nottach xposed module
5- go to xposed framework and go to modules and check the box
6- reboot
7- go to nottach xposed app
8-explore all tweak options
8a- necessary to reboot so changes come into effect
9- enjoy

Okay after the second reinstall I noticed my battery icon disappeared. But there was no sliding on and off toggle in themes. So figure it was having some effect but weird effect. Which is better than none. So did a complete third uninstall and reinstall and reboot and all that jazz and settings are the same but now it works. So weird. Moral: reinstall and uninstall over and over if something doesn't work lol

Ultimate Dynamic Navbar now support MOTO X

MrBIMC said:
Thanks to @hidea MOTO X is supported in my app.
UDN now has 2 navbar-hiding methods(v0.17):
-Safe via xposed (works everywhere except x86 devices)
-Dangerous way(by modificating build.prop). <-- this doesn't work on lots of devices including MOTO X, but does work on x86.
If you interested in trying it out, check these links:
Community Edition on XDA
PRO version in Google Play
LITE version in Google Play
P.S. Note that as of moment when I posted this message latest PRO and LITE versions are not yet appeared in Google Play, it will take ~2 more hours before v0.17 appear there.

Theoretically I found the way to make it work with your device, but I need to test it
So I creating this thread.

To help you need have cwm(or similar installed) + superuser on device.

Since this method is individual yet, we need to go private:

P.S. I just tested this method on several nexus-devices and 1stgen kindle fire - it works well.

Guys, don't use dangerous method on moto x, cuz it may Brick the phone. Hide navbar through xposed module, that's safe.
P.S. BusyBox is required only for dangerous method. I forgot to remove checks after I added safe way.
I did the safe method. And it works fine. You just have to mess around with xposed and soft reboots for everything to work.
what is the easiest way to install busybox? i have framework and stuff running right and SU lists UDN as having root rights. so i think busybox is the only thing im missing?

Because unfortunately most carriers block Google wallet from allowing you to use the tap to pay feature because they are backing Isis.

You don't need to be rooted to get it to work now. The new sim that came with the GN3 has the required secure element for Isis to work. They have even added a new prepaid card that you use to link your checking account or debit card. They are even giving you a free $20 credit.

1. Download XPrivacy.
2. Enable it in Xposed Installer.
3. Reboot
4. Open XPrivacy find ISIS in the programs.
5. uncheck all the boxes except Shell (commands, superuser).
6. close XPrivacy
7. Open ISIS and setup.
All these steps are assuming you are rooted and have given access to all the apps from above steps. Otherwise ISIS works if you are not rooted anyway. Hope I helped.

I dont know about tw acting crazy unless u enabled XPrivacy on tw launcher which i dont know if you can even do that. If you have been trying some of these other mods you could have partially messed up your root. Do you get any messages at the bottom of the screen when u enable XPrivacy module in xposed launcher? If so what is the message it should always read something but if it worked properly it will say something like access will be granted after reboot. I use very lil tweaks there are only a few things i cant do without.
I installed the 2.0 apk and activated the module and then downloaded and installed Isis after reboot and signed up n activated easily thanks!

Installed Flash Gordon and flashed Bravia Engine 3. Not really able to tell any difference. How can I positively confirm that BE3 actually installed? FG said a reboot was required, but I just assumed it worked. Thanks for this thread and the links.

A search with Root Explorer failed to find any trace of BE3. Also looked for sonyericson in system. Nothing. I don't think it really flashed.

Flash Gordon does NOT work on our Note 3. I have tried flashing simple zips I made just to check but it does not work. I even thought to myself that I made the zip wrong so I used tweaks and apk installer zips and no go.

That's what I thought too. The OP seemed pretty sure he got Bravia3 to flash with Flash Gordon. Sadly.....just one more thing that att has blocked. Thank you Jammol!

Then something must be wrong with ours. I have tried flash gordon both as a system/app and normal install. System files don't change but the app itself does say it's flashing then requires a reboot. Have you done something different or are you doing something different?

You're holding it wrong dude! Flash Gordon works just fine on my at&t note 3
Edit. To clarify, it does NOT work for anything that modifies system framework such as Roms and themes, but does with for most anything else.

Missing People App

Hi all I tried searching and googling and couldn't find the answer or someone else having my problem. When I try to add a new contact I get the error "Re-enable the people application to use this feature" simple enough right? The only issue is I do not have a People app in my app settings or app drawer. Any ideas? Can anyone post the apk if possible? Really clueless as to how this happened. Phone info: rooted 4.4.2 w/ busy box and xposed framework w/ gravity box.
Thank you,
Railed

Hi,
You have deleted or disabled the contact app...?
In Settings/Apps/All see if you have Contacts or go to the disabled tab and see if the Contacts app is there, if yes re-enabled it...
If deleted, take a look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=50542791, I posted some flashable zip file for the Contacts app.
