Usually this shouldnt really solve your Problems.
Better check which apps uses timers, Services, Foreground Services, Autostart, .. and disable/remove them.
Check your battery stats which apps uses high battery load (which does usually means that it uses high calculations and Memory)
..
link2sd works much better if u hv root acess..!!
u cn save more RAM by using any task killer
or manuly stop service which using high data or ram..

i have my phone rooted , but i wont move more system apps because some might be necessary and i dont want to kill my phone. I already converted some system apps to users apps with titanium backup (is there any difference? ) . And from time to time I clean dalvik cache.
I have about 150mb free on internal space. before I unninstall some apps i had my RAM always on 450mb+ but not anymore. I'll get a task killer , any sugestion ?

If you do manage to root your device, you could use my app to see if you can free up some memory.

thanks for the help but we all know that there is no way to root wildfires with hboot 1.01 yet. excluding the xtc clip method though. i'm just looking for a way to free up spaces on my internal memory.
ok bro i c your problem but u cant free up much space unless u root..
well the least thing u can do is
1. uninstall apps from your sd card..
2. use app2sd to move moveable apps to sd card
3. go to sd card.. find any folders with the name of softwares that u deleted and delete those folders..
thats all u can do bro..
GOOD DAY
OK you wont be able to free up a lot of space but its better than nothing.
1. uninstall any apps that you use rarely
2. delete the cashes of the apps you want to keep.
3. delete you message history.
4. delete your call logs and history.
5. move any media e.g music videos photos to your SD card.
6. when you do install new apps make sure to move them to SD card.
this should clear some space possibly enough to stop the message appearing stating that phone memory is low.
this is a common and well known problem with the HTC Wildfire
If this helps please press thanks

Here u go !!!!
I dont think this app is avaliable in the market.
What i would advice u is to do a clean instal.
Please note that all widgets need to be stored on the phone memory only, else they will not run. Besides that, any program that stores information (eg 3rd party mail clients) should be on the phone memory.
This is the most simple and effect program i have come across
Hello,
Just bought new SD-card. According to titanium backup theres 12mb free phone storage and 1gb ext4 partiton (982mb) free space, but still i get Low On space and cant install any apps. What should i do ?

The 12MB phone storage is what's killing you. In 'Manage Apps' under 'Settings', you can click on each individual app and send some of the larger ones to the SD card. You can also try clearing data for the Facebook app, which can hold a lot of data due to contact photos if you use it.
Just for curiosity's sake, what phone are you using?
Im using HTC Desire.
I understood that due to 12mb phone storage i get Low on space, but i made ext 1gb partition, so shouldnt now phone storage expand and became 12mb+1gb ?
All my apps are on sdcard, and no facebook app.
I made 1gb partition why its not helping ?

It sounds like you don't have apps2sd installed, or that the ext4 partition isn't recognised properly. I remember it was particularly fussy about whether the ext4 part was the first partition in the table or not, I'm not sure if this is still the case

With previous SD card, There's 12mb free internal storage and 134mb a2sd free, 238 a2sd occupied.
So i really dont understand now :/. This partition is working but not all space in a2sd are used (134mb) free , but also 238 a2sd occupied. So its working, so why i get Low on space :/ .
On new card I made 1gb partition and 0 occupied.
And i cant run restore in titanium backup, because it shows there's no space, but i adjusted to write everything to external storage in titanium backup settings.
Please help, because now i bought a new card and cant use it :/ .
I see what you're trying to do now
The phone will never show that you've added to phone storage, because you can't. Adding an SD partition won't increase your phone storage at all, it just gives you a place to put all your apps so they don't take up your actual phone storage.
There is something on your phone taking up the ~150MB phone storage. It may be contact photos, it may be SMSs/MMSs, it may be camera pictures and videos (if you haven't set the camera to save to SD by default). You've already moved your apps so it's not those. You need to go through all your apps and see how much each is individually using (in 'manage apps').
Pay particular attention to 'contacts storage', 'calendar storage' etc as they are usually the hogs in my experience, and you can't move them. If you sync your Facebook contacts with your phone, the photos and details can easily use over 200MB.
Thank you very much for helping me ).
I understood about memmory usage. Cleaned almost everything in phone memmory, but still 18mb left.
Its just a new SD card and so many problems. Now apps cant find root access, watahell ? My phone was always rooted .
Please someone help to fix problems, i want to use my new SD card.
1. Something happened to root. Titanium gets root rights. I BusyBox installer shows that my phone is rooted, but when i push install busybox it fails .
In titanium backup i press "Problems?" and it offers to updade superuser. I press Update superuser and imedietly get force close.
I really apreciate if someone help me :/ .
Try rooting again. If you're S-OFF already, SuperOneClick will make mincemeat of your Desire in one click (link in my signature)
As soon as something goes wrong with root, you need to have another try at it. If you get an error, post it here and I will help if I can
Hey Guys .. i am new here ..from India ..
Last Week I rooted my device and sucessfully installed CWM recovery by following the same steps from the youtube video on how to root galaxy s duos by Lev Singh and then i partitoned my 16gb extsd card ( I chose only 1gb which was not enough as i wanted to play games like asphalt..nfs..mc4 and few more ) and then i wiped the partition..factory reset my device ..now i have only asphalt 7 ..watsapp..root explorer and superuser on my device along with the default system apps as per the latest update..but i want to partition my extsd card again but with much larger partition size ..can i make the complete 16gb partition so i can install evrything on my extsd card..wallpapers..music..videos..and games and all ..if not ..then is 4gb the max partition size i can give. .or is there any other method ?
i donot have much knowledge abt rooting..partition and all .,.so i need u guys to help me with this partition situation and what to do after partition ..like the link2sd link all apps to sdcard step..does it completely transfers all movable apps to the partitioned size ? or shd i unistall all apps ( asphalt 7..watsapp) and then istall directly to partitioned size after partitioning..? Help me ASAP !
I hope my question is clear to everybody ..!
and i have many more queries which i will ask in new thread aftr i am completely done abt this partitioning and all .!
Thank you Guys in advance !
you can use only 20% of ur sd card's memory for a STABLE NO-LAG PARTITION.. even cwm wont allow a great level of it.. link2sd links EACH AND EVERY FILE OF THE APP to the sd card.. leaving no trace on the phone memory.. so .. no worries! and u can use titanium backup to backup ur apps+their data if u r short of memory and want to uninstall some apps for playing them in future.. with titanium backup.. u can save all progress made in ur games...

ok ..and where will the backups be saved ? the unpartitioned memory on my extsd card ..and cant i save data of watsapp..and other apps ?
and if i remove apps like paly books..play movies..google chrome by use of titanium backup ..and then someday i wipe the partition and unroot my device..wat will happen ..will i be reverted back to the stock galaxy s duos (by stock i mean the same device before root .with all the system apps ) or will i have to flash latest firmware from sammobile via odin after unroot ?
all the backups will be stored on ur sd card in a folder that u will select urself via tb(titanium backup).
apps backuped via tb have an option for data to be backed up as well only if u r rooted.. so u can backup data and apks of ALL apps..
and if u.. in future unroot ur device ... u will not lose any apps... just the Superuser one.. everythin will remain as it is.. and when u have unrooted... u can restore only the APPS NOT THE DATA! You need ROOT for both backup and restore of App Data...

Note.. if u delete ANY APP in root.. then u have lost it.. permanently.. no recovery after unrooting... DONT DELETE SYSTEM APPS! NEVER! and why should the yellow triangle bother u? if it does.. u can use any method to remove it... rooting and unrooting makes just one change. . the su app... nothing else.
It doesnt factory reset ur phone!

If you wanna use a safer Ram boosting app try the V6 supercharger script. It has an option where you can increase the Ram by using the memory. But it doesn't really make any difference, at least not for me.
Swap is used to store unused apps on that swap instead of the RAM, so that is why you don't see RAM Increase.
btw, swap on flash memories (like SSD, our phone's storage) kills them because flash memories have a limited read/write cycles.
