:victory:hey!
the problem im facing is im stuck on boot animation on mostly every sense rom. Whether with oc or without(in oc i partitioned according to instructions sd-data,sd-cache mentioned in thread) and im using sandisk 16gb class 10
tried all the possible recoveries cwm by yannou, twrp, phillz none work tried to re-partition sd card with ext4 or ext3 using twrp or phillz none of them worked..
even did a nand recovery as i was using cm10.1 with 878mhz oc but still didnt work out
the sense roms i tried are
exderoid
sense 4 lite build6.1
bulletsense
sense build 8
revolution sense
and a some others too
never faced any such problem in aosp based roms such as cm9,cm10,cm10.1 and miui etc with or without oc they just boot up in less tha 5mins even with oc
PLS HELP THE PERSON WHO GIVES THE SOLUTION WHICH WORKS FOR ME AND I BOOTUP WITH SENSE WILL BE THANKED DAILY BY ME PLS PLS
PS: finallly solved it by using ateeqs method of nand recovery the automated one and it worked like a charm
booted up in less than 5mins...... now playing around with sense build 7 by shekuntawar
loving and happy to have sense back
and mainly will thank yoll al tomm as i have thanked 8times to ateeq

Do one thing.
Remove the root of your phone and re-root it!
Flash CF-Root!
After that, Use the de-odex and ext4 AGAIN!
It should work!
This happened to me on a Froyo ROM!
And, this worked.
Remove and re-root using SUperOneCLick ONLY!

there are many recovery threads are there
They are only 2, twrp and yannou's, which is basikly cwm. which one do you have now, and please give a link to which tutorial did you follow to have root. Did you try flashing the kernel which I mentioned. in this thread there is a yannou's recovery which should be fine http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1415223

Install clean rom
Set up everything

Wipe cache
Go to advance wipe dalvik cache

What do you mean "install clean rom....."
He means to flash a new rom doing clean install, which probably will do the trick, another thing is try that with jaggy 3.x.x not with 4.x.x version. Give it a try, there is nothing to lose.

hello frnds and experts plz help me I have recently rooted my phone and I'm created two partitions using minitool to increase the internal storage also installed link2sd on my phone first time it's asked for 2nd partition select I chosen "fat32"(i'm in stock Rom so it's only supports fat32).
after that I'm restarted the phone everything goes ok but when I try to link the apps to SD card it's giving me an error like"install..failed...insufficient storage" but my 2nd partition has 1gb free memory it's showing in "storage info".
and I'm unable to link apps to sd card. I'm also done via recovery mode but it's created an ext2 partition and my phone don't support this(I'm using jaggyjags cmw recovery) so plz help me to solve this problem...
I noticed my recovery supports only ext2,3,4. at the sametime my phone support fat32 only.
I'm on stock Rom and also plz don't suggest me to use custom Rom , I don't want use that now. tell me which recovery supports fat32 as 2nd partition.
sorry for my bad English and lengthy matter.....!

None..all recoveries support ext partition not fat32, you should flash stock based roms because those roms support ext partition & are already configured that way so you won't need to worry about internal memory if you partition your sdcard right way & flash one of those roms..ateeqrom,jaggyrom,nextgen are stock based roms, flash.

thanks for the rply but I have few more doubts.
Yeah I know that stock kernel don't support ext partitions also I created fat32 but apps not moving there as I said showing error like "insufficient storage".
I'm using jagyys cmw recovery v5 is it safe to factory reset via recovery mode? will I don't get into the deep boot loop na? I'm a bit scared about this...
planning to flash a stock based Rom but before this I want to change the kernel to see the 2nd partition thing work or not, if it's not work I will flash jaggyjags Rom .

Before flashing the ROM I always wipe cache.. wipe data( factory reset ) ..Wipe SD-ext.. wipe Dalvik cache... then mount system.. mount data.. mount SD-ext and then install the update zip... I have never experienced any issue in flashing ROM after following these steps.... let me know if it works!! Cheers :
