Apple choose the easier way to prepare boot animation...still logo ...it will help to reduce the size of rom too.

well for try...it is not at all difficult to make boot animation and logo set especially when it is of apple..
but i am just short of time...so what i thought that instead of wasting my time on making again why dont just combine already made one?

Guys pls note that it is a complete set of boot logos and animation. So need to change anything...simply flash via cwm and enjoy. And yes if anyone wants than add a sound to it and share it here in this thread.

can you look at this please and see why it wont work..
Process is totally different to the g1 as the boot animation resides in a different place and is actually a collection ofpng images.
I haven't been able to get it working either i have tried rezipping the files after editing. Tried dropping the images into a zip without unzipping. Alwaysr results in a black screen. Maybe one of the guys who have got it going can help?
its not different for a g1 using a 2.1 rom.
problem is you have a folder called bootanimation within the zip, it should just be bootanimation.zip with part0, part1 and desc.txt
and the images are compressed within the zip, the zip should be set to store only

How to install it using Root Explorer
1. The Boot Animation must be named "bootanimation.zip".
2. Copy it to your sd card.
3. Open Root Explorer.
4. Select your boot animation and copy it to /system/media directory (mount the system partition as R/W).
5. Reboot is must to see the changes.
NOTE: If copying to /system/media doesn't work, try copying the bootanimation to /data/local DIRECTORY!

Many people asking me for the boot image logo size........ Which is key for removing boot logo and replace it successfully..... I found it with lot of effort and made ma Rom with new Logo, which is first Rom with removed boot logo and replaced it successfully.....!!! But i kept it secret.... !! bcz i don't wanted to waste ma effort by telling others who can do this in a minute...!! But now i changed ma attitude.... Im sharing its size.... now all can remove logo by using this size..... btw android is opensource....

command i used to convert .rle to correct format is @bin\convert -depth 8 -size 256×320 rgb:initlogo.rle.raw initlogo.rle.png

please tell me how I can remove that.. some verticle lines glitch...

I dont think this problem can be solved...... as i think it must b in memory like "BIOS" .......! similar to pc bios.......;

You know this too? You want a new bootanimation for your Samsung Device, but then you realize you cant use Bootanimation.zip files?
Well thats really sad and i had this Problem a long time. BUT now i know how to make .qmg files and i dont want to use it only for myself so i open
this Service for all now. You can now transform bootanimation.zip files to .qmg files. Easy, Free and Fast.
How to start?
Well i will transform it for you, please never forget this that i make this with my own hands and a Programm ^^ so it cant be instant ready.
So you need: A way to upload the File , a bootanimation.zip file with all the 3 Parts in it (part0, part1, part2) and some patience ^^.
First of all send me the File for the Bootanimation.zip file. I will open them and transform them into .qmg files. But please remember:
part0 will be bootsamsung.qmg
part1 will be bootsamsungloop.qmg
part2 will be shutdown.qmg
So please keep this in mind.
AND DONT FORGET: Samsung will AutoFit the .qmg file to the screen. So if the Animation dont have the right Resolution for your Device it could look wreid.:fingers-crossed:
What will happen now?
Your brandnew Bootanimation will be reworked by me and then send to you.
I will answer your Post with the Link to download the qmg files they will be put together in a .rar file btw.
It only takes 1 or 2 Days most of the time. If i need more time i will message you (For example if i have to learn for a Test)
How to use this Files now?
Well there are 2 Ways the
Easy Noob way: Download this App https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=tkstudio.sboot give the app Root permission (YES YOU NEED ROOT) and then go to where the files are. and select them in the right order ^^ easy right?.
and the
Pro Funny way: get ES File Explorer copy all the 3 .qmg files and put them to /system/media. Then select every single .qmg animation and go to Properties. Change the permissions to rw- r- r- and ready.
Now restart your Phone and you are fine with your new bootanimation ^^
BUT I WANT SOUND, TOO. HOW CAN I GET THIS?
Well you dont even have to send me the File. You need Es File Explorer for it btw
Just cut a small part from your favourite song or Sound Effect and rename it PowerOn.ogg . Now move it to /system/media/audio/ui and keep pressing on it until the little bar on the bottom appear. Go to More>Properties and change Permissions to rw- r- r- ( At read check all Ticks. And at write check the first tick)
Thats all now restart Phone and enjoy sound!

The Problem isnt that it dont work...
The Problem is that i dont know which part should it be?
Should it be the Bootanimation? The BootLoop animation? Or the Shutdown animation?
And it WILL work
