Good deal Galaxy tab 10.1 new for $300?

Have a chance to pick up a new Galaxy tab 10.1 for $300 cash.. was thinking of getting one to tinker with until the newer Samsung stuff comes out.. Heck with the Asus... not paying $500 for a purple tablet...
Should I go for it?

Worth waiting for the skyrocket HD?

OK so coming from an iPhone I bought the galaxy s2. Didn't think of getting the skyrocket cause I don't have lte in my area. Long story short I'm really loving the phone but now I'm hearing bout this HD version. I would love to have a HD quality screen. But I like the smaller size of the s2 screen. Well I'm still in my buyers remorse stage so I'm wondering if its worth it to wait it out. Not sure how long it'll take to be released. What would u guys do?

Wait for May and buy the International version Galaxy S3...

Too soon to really say... I demand a full spec sheet before making up my mind...

You can wait for the Samsung Galaxy S II HD LTE, but if you want one more week after it's released you can pick up the Samsung Galaxy S II Super HD XLE LTE. Then of course one week after that you could have the Samsung Galaxy S II.1 Super HD XLE LTE.
On a serious note, whatever you decide on, don't let buyers remorse get to when it's bypassed by a 'better' model just after you get it.

^ya ur right. I was gunna get the skyrocket originally but since the s2 was cheaper and we don't have lte yet I bought the s2. I'm having a hard enough time making my battery last all day in my s2. I could imagine the drain from a bigger
HD screen. Although the att guy did make a good point bout the lte. He says if I go to a place that does have lte it would be a nice feature to have. Then again I change phones like crazy. So maybe ill just wait til newer stuff comes out in summer

I was offered a like new Galaxy tab 2 10.1 for 250. Is that worth it? Will a new one be coming out? If I get them to do 200 should I buy?

I bought my used Sprint Galaxy Tab 7 (white) for $200 in MINT condition. Asking price was $280. Doesn't hurt to say I have cash on me and can meet you in 30 minutes inside a Starbucks.

No its a low price. The tablet is awesome. The 'best' ROM can only be determined by you.

I'll bump this a little bit. I just ordered Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 for 200 euros (they are normally like 350-400 euros here in Finland), and now I'm facing a dilemma.
I already own Xperia Tablet S, and ordered the Tab for my parents. But what do you think, should I keep the Tab for myself and give the Xperia Tablet S to my parents? Both are excellent devices, but Tab 2 is only a dual core. But there are 100x more custom roms for Tab 2 than Tablet S. There's pretty much zero roms for Sony.
CyanogenMod and other thingys gets me interested on Tab 2, but the "low specs" on Tab 2 gets me leaning towards Sony.
What would you do?

I have a kindle fire hd 7" with no roms but fair specs....
And a tab 2 7" with cm10.1 with mediocre specs...
I use the tab 2 almost exclusively...

why not buy NEXUS 7? it's awesome.

Maybe because it costs more, and is smaller. 3 inches is quite a lot.
EDIT: In MY case (where I got the Tab 2 for 200€) it's cheaper.

Sorry to hijack this thread.. I am looking to buy this tablet(wifi 10.1). Actually i was confused between this and nexus 7. But the display size won over nexus 7. And am new to tablets as well. Will this tab survive another 5 years of time ? Does this tab support usb host and hdmi or mhl? How's the battery backup time(wifi on 24x7)?

just bought mine today for $180 at walmart but it's going back tomorrow. the thing lags way too much for me. guess ill either buy a nexus 7 or wait.

Got the nexus 7 today and its like night and day. The only minuses are no expandable storage or rear camera. I liked the design of the tab 2 but the lag killed it for me. Maybe ill try out the galaxy tab 8 when it hits.

i had a craigslist ad up for 2 weeks trying to get rid of my galaxy gear for 220 or reasonable trade. Finally some guy offered a verizon galaxy note 2 (clean imei)...lol i jumped on it fast.. & to think i was upset i denied some guy who offered a att blackberry z10....what do u guys think would u had made that trade if u we're the other guy?

Sale at best buy!

Just wanted to let anyone know best buy is having a sale on the s3 as well as s4(both a dollar with two year contract). Wife broke her DROID RAZR m so went to get a new one to find out about this. Wife now has my s3(with bonestock as I feel it runs better than 4.3)and I get a sideways upgrade heh(only because haven't rooted my s4 yet). Now I'm not sure if it's still going on but it was at least here in Ohio.
