Hey guys, first question is if I was to sell apps or games on Google Play what sort of taxes will I get charged (I am Australian btw) also which game engine would be best to create a goal-kick game (either rugby of afl) or possibly even an adventure game. I've had a bit of a play around with Unity which I didn't really like, I would like to know if ShiVa would be worth it, or should I just stick to some of the 2d game engines (which one of them would you recommend?). Also quickly does anyone want me to upload anything to Google Play for them (I will only upload it as a Free app) and sorry but I cannot pay you anything for publishing your app or game. Thanks guys
I know Google takes 30%
INSTALLING DELISTED WINDOWS PHONE XBOX GAMES
I have searched the Windows Phone forums on this subject but a lot of the threads seem to be people asking how to download and install Xbox Live enabled xap's that have not been purchased from the Marketplace which in no way do I condone. My interest in being able to sideload Xbox enabled xap's is solely to allow me to reinstall games that have now been delisted (removed from the marketplace). There are now 13 delisted games of which there are several I never got round to completing.
The games that have been delisted are:
Angry Birds
Butterfly
Crackdown 2
Doodle Jump
Fast and Furious: Adrenaline
Guitar Hero 5
I Dig It
MiniSquadron
PES 2011
PES 2012
Star Wars: Battle for Hoth
Star Wars: Cantina
Twin Blades
I would just like to be able to reinstall some of these games and earn the achievements I am missing. I am already have a few of the xap's and I know how to install a custom rom on my spare handset but before I go any further I would just like to know if what I have asked is possible.
Of course I do not expect anyone to post a reply here that would allow someone to install a game that they didn't pay for so if that is the only solution perhaps you could PM/email me. Obviously it could be taken that all of the above is just a ploy to find out a way of installing games for free so as I cannot currently post links please Google 'WP7 Current Game List'. The top result is a thread at xbox360achievements.org where you will see that I have several other threads running on Windows Phone Xbox games. You can also check out my Xbox gamertag 'ISAAC1982'. You will see that I own well over 150 WP Xbox games which have obviously all been paid for. Yes I am a bit of a gaming addict.
I look forward to your replies.
Surely someone can help me with this. Can anyone point me in the right direction. Or perhaps this thread could be moved to the Windows Phone forum.
Thanks.
I'm on the same thing, I want to finish the achievements of the games I paid for...
But just by installing the .xap files you can't get the achievements...
If just exist an apps backup program that let you restore those apps on other phones, that (maybe) solve the problem...
Hi
I created fun Indie go go campain!
Everyone play gratis games, but gratis game are not free
Source code is closed and you cant see the code
I want to prove that crowd-funding can change it and that games can be free
If you want to help+gain a custom version of the 3 games of your choice with your head(face) in it bouncing around the 3 different games, visit these link below
Message below on this forum what you think about this, and do you think that all games should be free!!!

Hi guys. I'm young developer from Poland(19 yers old) and I'm working on creating a raft survival game on android. I started creating it 4 days ago and I have basic alpha version on Google Play. I'm adding updates every single day and work almost 18 hours a day to make it work. And it is paying off(not in the money ) but for the first time in my game development career my app is getting downloads. But there is planty of scam app. Just search "Raft" in google play and look at the reviews of first top 5/6 apps. I'm trying my best to get to the people that really want to play Raft but these scam apps are scaring people away. I know this is a self promotion. I know this game is in pre alpha and doesn't have a lot of content but I'm doing my best and I would really love to see people playing and enjoying my work. So if you have a little time and android phone, could you please download my app and give here a feedback? So I can work on things that people want? I will start a game forum in this weekend to give you a chance to influence game development and give it a direction that you players want it to go.
play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.raftsurvivalgamedesc.raft
Also I will answer any questions about game development, how to start, how to do it, where to learn, how to publish your game on Google Play and everything you can think of
Is there a site where people mod old/dead games to be playable offline? I miss a few games I used to play, no longer available, and wanted to know if anyone knows a place where modders have messed with old apps to remove the server connectivity from them?
Is this too ambitious of a dream? I don't know how hard it would be to remove that particular component of a game, probably not very easy, I'd imagine.

There is this one site I know of, however it violates the terms of service I believe if I send you a link. Besides, a lot of those 3rd party app stores which have free apps may contain malware, I only use them on a dummy phone. If you are trying to play games such as angry birds then yea you can play it offline. If you are trying to play a game and want to remove ads, I remember lukcy-patcher was good for it. If you wanna play a game such as super mario run, then that is not possible since that game requires you to be connected online since nintendo doesn't want this type of behavior.

I'm aware of the malware many sites that distribute APKs are plagued with, I virustotal every APK before installing, if I do elect to download from a seedy site at all.
As for what I'm looking for, like I said in my original post, I'm looking for playable versions of games that are dead, and removed from service and mainstream distribution. Games like Tekken Card and Evilbane. Both of these games used to be playable without a connection, you'd just earn less rewards for in-game missions if you weren't connected to servers. I just want to find a way to play them again, as the servers are offline for those games and other games like them.
