HI!
I have not seen much development for this great devices here.
I bought the mine a few weeks ago and I've only rooted *until Huawei support send me the code to unlock the bootloader.
So, is there users with the Huawei Y300-0151 or 0100 who want rom dev for this devices?
I can continue my line of roms here with a clean version of CM10 or something*.
If yes, vote here for what kind of rom do you want.

Ok i'll add lewa os and carbon rom but i'd not add slim bean rom as my slimmybean roms is almos the same but for low-end phones

I dont know if you guys already know but most roms that you mention here are already available. I am on cm 10.2 and love it. Much better then emotion ui. Not where I want it to be interms of gaming but then again cm roms lag in that feature.

I am not allowed to post links here. But if you google huawei ascend y300 roms you will get a link to e modaco website it has all the roms listed there I currently use cm 10.2 which is the last on the list(nightlys only for now) by Dazzozo and I think he is also working on 4.4 which should be great as there is less of a memory requirement and since we only have 512mb ram it should be well recieved.

that would be awesome to get 4.4, I am not even using this as a phone, it is going to be a media player for my daughter so I want to get rid of all the junk that is installed on it. and make it easy for her 2 use.

Just wanna get you guys a heads up. Google just announced its latest update. I know the SL community won't be updated to it but i know your devs will have a chance to port it easily. Since this is just a point release and not a major overhaul of the system. I think it will be easier to port it knowing you guys already have a partial android 4.0 working. And based on phonearena, they said it will FINALLY remove lag on android devices running the said software. Hope this update won't be a disappointment.

May be we can try to port few apps from here - Let see
I didn't get time to check in SDK - but i believe 4.1 is already available in SDK.
Edit: LOL just noticed OP's update - that means OTA is out and it's also available in SDK. That's pretty fast - isn't it?

Well, it was released (ota and sdk) around 17 hours ago (around that time) but didn't have the chance to post because i was sleepy and it was 3+ am here in Philippines

I was reading about this jelly bean update, and its somewhat an ics update. anyway, while reading stuff about jb update, i hear about kovdev having jellybean's wallpapers and bootanomation...does anyone here have and is willing to upload the jb bootanim here? Im using a phone and will be sleeping in a while. Soo ill look for the site tomorow with my computer and if i do find it ill upload it here...

This is another keyboard or is the same but only removed from rom and made it separate app?
I mean can I copy the "The KEyboard.apk" directly in rom zip in \system\app and flash rom, or it must be installed as a normal app after rom flash?

This is the same keyboard,just install this app when you flash rom,restart and then go to options and enable keyboard..work!

bassed on my experience.. latest cm10 got wifi issue with data. if data enabled, and wifi detected.. the data cannot work...

yup it has that issue .....even some times data toggel also doesn't work like wifi...!!

Thanks for your reply, I have already tried that ROM but the previous version was having some bug one of them which I spotted is loudspeaker mode in calling was not working, will try v2.1 tomorrow in the morning, if that bug was fixed I would settle for SamHD, currently I am on JellyDeamon.

I am a complete newbie. Refering to tutorials, i wish to create a custom rom. but i am not able to determine what all mount points have to be included in edify_defs to create a working folder in dxdisa's Kitchen. i have included the mount point which i typed by refering many templates.. can anyone review it and help me correct it... Thanks a lot in advance

JellyDeamon and SamHD are very old custom ROMs, you better try SLD v2 or CNT.

You may know me, or you may not... I happen to own an XPERIA E C1505, and to be honest: I'm not really satisfied with the amount of ROMs available for our E. Coming from the SII, I got spoiled... We had eveything, you name a ROM and I could flash it. Unfortunately this is not the case with the XPERIA E and I can fully understand that. Our phone is a budget phone, and many potential devs have bought a better phone. I am not blaming anyone, just saying.
Now, since I have way too many time(finally finished practice-exams), and I can't ride my racing bike(my hobby), because of the ****tiest weather ever, I thought I might as well could try to port a ROM. CM11 would be cool to work on, but my laptop is a 32bit computer and you need a 64bit for that... So porting a ROM, and perhaps try to build one myself(stock based) are my only options to get further involved in Android.
My question to you(single sim XPERIA E users): what ROM should I try to port? MIUI or Paranoid Android?
I looked into some guides and they are equally hard to port. Note the ''try''. I can not guarantee anything, since this is the first time I try something like this.

Uhhm, I have added a poll... And installing a 64bit ISO on a 32bit computer won't work. It will give the error: ''compatibily issues''.

xperia E is my first android ....that's why no knowledge
how much ram u have? if u install a only x64bit iso it should work
my laptp had 2gb ram and x86
but
i installed a extra 4gig ram(total=6gb) and used a 64 bit iso with same MS key and it worked

I gave up trying, you could take the initiative to fix it

Start with ParanoidAndroid. MIUI is much harder to port and requires more skills/knowledge about porting.

Yeah, I finished my first try of Paranoid Android! Flash was fine, no errors, but ofcourse... a bootloop! Found this extensive guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2232773, so I'll try again.

Bugs: -SIM doesn't get recognized, will see if flashing baseband works.
-Settings menu has text the size of a bacteria. Jeez, almost unreadable.
-Paranoid Settings force closes when I try to open it. I think I know a fix.

When the rom boots all I have is a black screen although boot animation works just fine.

That's the exact same problem I had with SlimBean; baseband issues. I gave up eventually, but if you find a fix, I'd be happy as hell to update it.

Edit: lying in my cozy bed, I was "cleaning" my brain and trying to focus on the problem. What came up in me was this: since the CM10 I use as base(jjm's ROM+hsr0's kernel) was originally made for the E Dual, flashing the latest E Dual JellyBean baseband might fix the baseband issue. Had no luck flashing the baseband of any E single stock firmwsre, so yeah, maybe I'm lucky... Will look into this tomorrow!

Do not be afraid to do roms. I do Xperia E roms despite the lack of phone but possible, "the industry is to give support to the E Dual"

Dann. I give up. The base rom I use(CM10) has too many bugs. Those bugs also occur in every port I make.
-Network bug. No Sim detected. Nothing works to fix this
-Charging issue. When the network bug happens, charging won't work anymore.
-Bluetooth doesn't work
-Magnetometer doesn't work.
All this bugs are part of the base rom. I'm not experienced enough to fix these bugs in CM10 itself. I'll try my luck on a stock based rom. Sorry.
Thanks for all the help. I don't want to quit, but porting a rom with bugs on a base rom with bugs... I might as well throw it out of the window then.

it works nice, but havent FM-radio, camera.

while taking photos in other apps ,,,,,,,it force closes and reboots
