Just wanna get you guys a heads up. Google just announced its latest update. I know the SL community won't be updated to it but i know your devs will have a chance to port it easily. Since this is just a point release and not a major overhaul of the system. I think it will be easier to port it knowing you guys already have a partial android 4.0 working. And based on phonearena, they said it will FINALLY remove lag on android devices running the said software. Hope this update won't be a disappointment.

Okay - may be i read it wrong as official update - However there are already ROMs floating for Nexus.
May be we can try to port few apps from here - Let see
I didn't get time to check in SDK - but i believe 4.1 is already available in SDK.
Edit: LOL just noticed OP's update - that means OTA is out and it's also available in SDK. That's pretty fast - isn't it?

Well, it was released (ota and sdk) around 17 hours ago (around that time) but didn't have the chance to post because i was sleepy and it was 3+ am here in Philippines

I was reading about this jelly bean update, and its somewhat an ics update. anyway, while reading stuff about jb update, i hear about kovdev having jellybean's wallpapers and bootanomation...does anyone here have and is willing to upload the jb bootanim here? Um guys maclaw abandoned cm9 when it still was in code merger state so am presuming there will be a lot of unresolved bugs (My thoughts).

we know that is no 100% working CM9 port
And no one needs permission from Maclaw coz he isnt in XDA and he stopped CM9 for fit a long long time ago.

Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 use Novathor chipset. And I think it's an important thing to do. Please sign this petition to force ST Ericsson to release the source of Novathor chipset.IMO, If they release the source, we will have stable Aftermarket ROM such as CyanogenMod.

actually you could go for almost the exact name but the same email wont increase the counter if it were that easy some nolifer would invest his day in spamming it and thus gettin his petition to 2000,most probably it wont work from the same ip either

You can look at petition to qualcomm (mini, gio, fit, ace, etc) and petition to broadcom (young). Now Ace, Gio, Mini, Fit have a stable CM and a lot of custom ROM. Before broadcom release the source, galaxy young has a CM7 with a lot of bug, after broadcom release the source, some bugs are fixed

Ehm, after these 5 signatures the 'goal' will change to higher number (2000?). And even if we get a million of signatures it doesn't mean that we will get the sources. It's all up to ST Ericsson, this petition is just a way to show them what people want. (The same applied to Qualcomm - there was a petition for releasing the hw decoder libs for ARMv6 devices for ICS+, they did it; but then devs found out that they need OMX drivers from Qualcomm to make hw video encoding/decoding work, so there was another petiton and Qualcomm repliead that they won't release it.)

I am not allowed to post links here. But if you google huawei ascend y300 roms you will get a link to e modaco website it has all the roms listed there I currently use cm 10.2 which is the last on the list(nightlys only for now) by Dazzozo and I think he is also working on 4.4 which should be great as there is less of a memory requirement and since we only have 512mb ram it should be well recieved.

I see the 10.1 but not the 10.2 version. the last one on the Jelly Bean list is a Spanish rom is that it?
that would be awesome to get 4.4, I am not even using this as a phone, it is going to be a media player for my daughter so I want to get rid of all the junk that is installed on it. and make it easy for her 2 use.
