ive noticed the same in Grand rom v3. It came with the rom. I think wen the fone is charged above 90percent, both the red and green notification leds are turned on, resulting in an orange color.

[Q] Problem with the Led notification colour

Hello,
I just got a xperia tipo (single SIM) and I want to change the colour of the led notifications. I tried " LED Color Tester " from the Market and I realized that the only colour I could get were blue, red and purple. . I tried " Light Manager ", " Blink " and " Light Flow " and I got the same result. When my phone is charging and is more than 90%, I get the green led. I don't understand why I don't manage to get green (and others colours) with the applications.
Is that a bug ? How can I fix it ?
Thanks.
Not a bug I think. Not working for me too. Looks like the app dont know how to control tipo led light.
Now using:
Sony Xperia tipo ST21i
stock 4.0.4
11.0.A.4.22
(rooted, locked bootloader)
Current problem:
Cant get past installing flash drivers in xp.
It's too bad ! There is no application whick works with our device ? We are a lot to use it, I 'm surprised that nobody talked about it.
I havent found one yet. The only colours I can get are: green - flash mode/battery full, red - charging, blue - download mode/notifications. I dont know yet if the led can output other colours too. Weird, you can get purple.
Edit:
I just found it and it works. Get led light manager - by mc koo.
Now using:
Sony Xperia tipo ST21i
stock 4.0.4
11.0.A.4.22
(rooted, locked bootloader)
Current problem:
Cant get past installing flash drivers in xp.
I tried it but I only managed to get blue, red and purple
What it is weird it's I can't get green while I get it when my phone is charging Oo
Anyway, thanks for trying to help me
Edit : finally I find one which WORKS !! LEDBlinker Lite

[APP] Light Manager Compatibility

I am the developer of Light Manager. It is an app to configure notification LED color and its flashing frequency for different notification types. Quite a number of people reported that it is not working properly on Samsung Galaxy S 4, however at the same time there are people reported it is working perfectly. I am confused since currently I do not have a device to test.
So I created this thread to gather more comments about Light Manager on Samsung Galaxy S4. If things go serious, I would consider getting a S4 device for testing. I would like to make it compatible with S4.
For more information, you may go to the original thread at Samsung Galaxy S IIII section at:

Works ok for me (i9590, rooted stock) except for Aquamail notifications.
Using it for missed calls and SMS , works fine
Using it only for SMS, calls and battery states and works fine. Only sometimes when I plug the charger, "stock" LED indication appears instead of Light manager indication...Very randomly. Im on stock MDM firmware with kernel 3.4.0-526204 if it helps.
Alternative mode is working fine on my GS4 but it would nice to have a little break before swiching color between to different notifications.
example: green green green break break blue blue blue ecc...
Working fine for me too.
Another thing that isn't working (also on GS3) is the battery pergentage setting when the led should start to blink to aller that the battery level is low. Also if I set 5%, the led starts blinking on 15%.
Using it for missed calls and SMS; works fine. But doesn't work with whatsapp!!
Galaxy S4 GT-I9500 16Gb..

The best way is to turn off "stock" LED indicator for battery in your phone settings.

After you have granted root permission, remember to click "Restart light manager". For whatsapp, you need to turn off the notification LED in whatsapp settings as well. Let me know if it is not working.
It is working fine for me on the t-mobile variant of the GS4 in the united states. Wicked v2 with faux's kernel

THX for advice, I will monitor it...
For the most part, the app is working fine!
I don't know if this is normal, with these leds, but some colors are way off. Red, blue and green are fine, but yellow is greenish and white is blueish. So sometimes it's hard to distinguish which notification is showing...

I will test it out shortly, I have been using it on my S3 all the time but after upgrading to CM10.1 it didn't work too well, it clashed with the system led settings...
Just found this app because of your thread. Tested it and it works with whatsapp, sms, calls !
I'm reallyhappy right now because I was used to LightFlow but that app has to be enabled in de accessability settings and ruins the gallery.
Yours Sir is just perfect!
Thank you! :good:

I guess this is some LED hardware variation for different devices. You may adjust the hex color code in Advanced Setting to suit your S4 device. Could someone help to post a set of accurate hex color code for S4? Then I might be able to add a one-click button to preset all hex color code for S4.

I thought Samsung has fixed the accessibility issue on S4? The talkback issue is still there? This is the main reason I am not using accessibility in Light Manager but might include it when Samsung fixed the issue.
I have the 9500 not rooted /stock do I need root to get this application to work for whatsapp?

LED Notification light remains solid(constant) on incoming notifications!!!

I started facing this problem today.... After i plugged off my phone after a full charge....
On any notification or anything... The LED light doesn't blink(pulse). It remains constantly on until you see the notification.
I tried disabling the notifications, etc. etc. And tried changing the blink rate via different apps.... But nothing worked!! And its really annoying me!!
FYI: I am using Micromax Canvas 2(A110)

Notification LED not working

Hi, I recently bought this phone, made all updates then a factory reset.
While testing everything is working correctly, I noticed that the LED didn't work with notifications, instead with a LED testing app the LED lightened up, so I guess the hardware is fine.
I enabled the LED under the display settings.
Currently I'm on android 10 firmware with all latest updates.
Has anyone had the same problem? How did you solve it?

I am using my ZF6 for 8.5 months now and I've never had a problem with notification LED. I started with A9 WW_16.1210.1904.116, now I have A10 WW_17.1810.2002.133.
Just now is LED green blinking because I have got a new SMS message in Messages app.

Hi, I just found that the blue led is not working and the telegram app uses that color for new messages. Any other app that doesn't need the B led works fine. So the LED is working as intended, but not as needed.

It is a pity that you did not mention in what application you have a problem or with what color you have a problem. It's not that blue doesn't work but we don't have it at all

ZF6 have not RGB LED, but rather just RG and it can be combined to show Orange/yellow. Same design as Zenfone 5
