ya, agreed. angry birds should be at #1
In my opinion, Crystellight Defense is a way better tower defense game. And yeah, Angry Birds should definitely be on the list. And Frozen Bubble is pretty great too.
#1 and #10 are pretty much the same thing...
Toss it and paper toss...
My favorite is Flood-It! It's a simple concept that results in a challenging and addicting puzzle-type game.

This probably has more to do with the fact that Angry Birds just got onto Android, and this list is "most downloaded" apps. We don't know how far back they're counting from, and since I downloaded almost all of these apps long before Angry Birds was available, it's likely that AB just hasn't caught up yet. Also, AB was only available off the market at first, which would lower their numbers in this list. It's in the market now, but still not for all phones.
Angry Birds is certainly "hotter" right now, but it just hasn't been downloaded more than these.

Because red poker is now called live hold'em & they also have tournament live hold'em.....A+++

How to make they work at non THD devices
-ROOT NEEDED-
1- Download the game apk, install them but dont open
2- Go to Market and download the Chainfire3D app and install e dont open
3- Download these plugins and the copy the .zips to the sdcard (unextrated!)
4- Open Chainfire3d and press Install Driver (the phone will reboot)
5- After reboot, open again Chainfire3D > Install Plugin, after the automatic search install the 3 plugins
5- After install the plugins, go to Default OpenGl settings > Use plugin > and select NVIDIA.
6- Now you are able to play the game
#tested on Milestone 2/Droid 2 and Xperia X10i

I downloaded and really enjoy this. Easy enough for my kids and challenging for me.
I would suggest selectable difficulty levels though. It takes far too long too challenge me although once its gets going it's pretty tough. I would like to be able to be immediately challenged.

I really like your game, and that's saying something -- I don't like games too much. I mean, I have a Mahjongg game and a Sudoku game, but something like Angry Birds or Cut the Rope -- not for me. I dig your game, though. It's simple, but tricky. I think partly it appeals to me because of my nearly 5-year history of playing Rockband (although, mostly singing). Still, it boils down to pattern matching. Might not be what you're going for, but if you could cook up an algorithm that takes a playing song and uses that to determine what colored balls and powerups to send out, that would be really neat. As opposed to, I guess, random? Also, it seems hard to keep control of the wheel at times, since the balls come from all sides. I guess that's the point, there's no safe place to keep your fingers.
Technical stuff? Works great in CM9/ICS (4.0.4) on the Electrify (Photon 4G).
Thanks a lot! The audiosurf-like idea - yeah, it could be fun - we'll look into that in the future : ) As for there being no safe place for your fingers - the balls only come from the top and bottom of the screen - so the sides should be safe.
Yeah, like Audiosurf. Great example of a rhythm game that dynamically generates its tracks. I wouldn't mind playing that on Android. And thanks for the spoiler... er, I mean tip, haha.

As someone already said, i am not into games that much and this one blew me away! I love the simplicity, the smoothness, and that it doesn't freeze because I don't have hardware acceleration! I would love to beta test for y'all! If you need someone, hit me up!
