[Q] Sensation XE Stock ROM for Sensation?

Hey guys,
I have been locking for a stock ROM of the Sensation XE but all I found where custom ROMS based on the XE.
Are there any working stock Sensation XE ROMs? Couldn't find anything with the search function.
1. S-OFF
2. Super CID
3. Flash the XE RUU
You now have a 100% stock XE, albeit with 1.2GHz rather than 1.5GHz

Thanks.
The Sensation and the Sensation do have the same hardware except for the battery right?
Is it possible to clock the Sensation to 1,5GhZ?
Yep, but you need a custom kernel for it

Is there a ROM which is basically stock but has a custom kernel clocked to 1,5 GhZ?
Kind of turning the Sensation into a Sensation XE?
Yep, InsertCoin or Android Revolution HD (not the Sense 3.5 versions)
OR, my stock XE ROM + the recommended kernel

flash EddyOS stock xe Rom then just flash a different kernel over it. You cannot I don't think have pure stock and custom kernel.

Hi guys,
first of all: i am using currently Android Revolution HD 4.1.9 on my HTC Sensation.
but, i am tired of flashing custom roms and looking for the "best" rom.
Now, i guess i want backt to Stock Rom. With flashing Eddies Rom is it possible to receive OTA's in the future (because of coming ICS).
Thx for short reply...

Look the thing is, as soon as any hint of ICS ROM test or official gets leaked, I guarantee that within 2 days there will be custom ROM's so best stick to non stock for now.
To answer your question, no I don't think it possible to receive OTA updates on EddyOS

Yes, with a rooted phone you can install custom a Kernel or Rom.
Download and install ROMmanager. This will allow you to install Clockworkrecovery. Once that is installed you can download your choice of Kernel - I can personally recommend Bricked or Faux kernels - found elsewhere here on xda. Save the downloaded file to your sd card and select the Install ROM from SD card option in ROM manager.
NOTE: Before you install this, make a NAND backup - you will get prompted by Rom manager - this will allow you to restore back to your current position if you experience any problems or are unhappy with the update.

FS61 post 13 stock sensation le rom from europe, works great in stuttgart, just left there.

No I Have An HTC Sensation XE And I want To Root It And Flash ROMS Into it
Can I Do It The Same Way As The Orignal HTC Sensation
For XE you need XE ROMs. But yes, it should be done in the same way as Sensation.
is there any xe roms
Oops, I just found out that somebody managed to successfully flash InsertCoin (Sensation ROM) into XE. Sorry for confusing you
I'm on xe you can use any roms but some of them will underclock your cpu, for s-off cwm and custom roms follow stickies in development thread. Treat it as a sensation because it is just with extended battery there is plenty of "overclocked" roms
I'm not 100% on kernals as the XE battery is bigger I'm having inconsistencies with the battery but ill sort it in time

other htc roms on sensation

i've noticed that people look as if they are using roms that work on htc sensation with the htc inspire, can i also use htc inspire roms on the htc sensation
No. No one is porting (from what I know anyways) inspire roms to the sensation. People can run sensation roms because they want sense 3.0. We wouldn't gain anything porting an inspire rom.

Port mildwild to HTC Desire S

Hi. Is it possible that someone can port this HTC Desire rom, to HTC Desire S ?
It's the greatest rom ever .
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1453287
Can't be as good as reaper! I'm sure it could be easily themed to look like that as well.
I got HTC Desire and HTC Desire S.
HTC Desire running mildwild.
HTC Desire S running reaper.
And mildwild is way better.
it's smaller.
way more smooth.
not as many bugs.

Maybe you could ask the dev of your ROM to port it to desire s..
I would like to test it too
Sent from my Desire S using XDA App
yeah, I will try that
part of the reason i said it was because porting from desire isn't easy. There was a lot of problems when oxygen was ported which is why initially it was never released. If i'm correct, it wasn't until the devs at desire hd ported it that we finally got it. But good luck! the more ROMs the better.

[Q] HTC Rhyme ROM development

Hello everybody,
I've got a question. Can someone simply answer to me, how difficult is to prepare custom ROM for HTC Rhyme? It has got the official ICS ROM from HTC with Sense 3.6 and it is almost totally the same phone as HTC Desire S. Desire S has model name S510e and Rhyme is called S510b. I think that only difference is dock mode capability and HTC Charm support. So for example if I take some Desire S custom ROM, how could I tune it to make it useful on HTC Rhyme?
What a pity, that the phone like HTC Rhyme hasn't got its own section on XDA
Hi,
I would do it to my girlfriendĀ“s Rhyme as well, but unfortunatelly I did not found the right rom for ICS and Sense 3.6. yet.
I need other lang than english.
Anyway maybe it helps:
