Running a Thrill 4G (P925) on ICS. Stock rooted firmware. No SIM card.
I remember seeing them there before. It seems no matter what I do, I can't get the 4 shortcuts to appear on the lockscreen. I've tried erasing them all and changing them. I've tried using stock wallpapers, rebooting, changing from Swipe to PIN to dots, toggling User Info, switching back to the stock launcher.
Is there some setting I'm missing? All I see is the clock that I chose, user info, if enabled, and the Emergency Call button.
What shortcuts do you mean? You erased them?

No. I mean, under settings, I go to Lock Screen, and I pick the 4 icons at the bottom. When selected, they have that little gear in the upper right.
And when I turn on my phone, on the lock screen, the shortcuts aren't visible.
Try delete data of the lockscreen settings app in settings/apps/all menu. Than restart and you can try add shortcuts again.

They won't appear unless you have w SIM card inserted in the phone, I'm very sure of that: )

Ugh. That's a terrible design decision. And I don't know if it's worth it to dig up wherever I put that SIM card...
Edit:
Found a sim to test with.
Wow. That's disappointing.
In Airplane mode, NEVER shows any shortcuts
Out of airplane mode, ONLY shows shortcuts if there's a SIM. That emergency call button replaces it.
If only I could disable that...

Try llama location on the market. It's a free app and base on the conditions you set you can tell the app to run actions based on a number of factors. I use it all the time. One of my favorite apps of all time.
Why don't you just create a shortcut to a widget on your home screen? Press Menu->Personalize->Widget (under Add items to home screen section)->Settings...->WiFi (HTC). This will place a toggle WiFi button on your home screen. Then you can turn WiFi on or off with one tap of a finger.

When I flash extended settings for the newest version my time got placed in the center and all my other status icons got pushed to the right. When I flashed the last version I had options before downloading whether I wanted a left, right, center setup. Is there a way to change that, I didn't see anything within extended settings to do so.

You have to download the zip with the placement you want from the thread, there isn't an option to change it from the app on mine.

Open up the miui control panel app. It's in the first selection "statusbar layout." it gives you the options to set it in the center, on the right side, or "switched" which is for the left side. I noticed it didn't show up right away, so I rebooted and it works.

I noticed that setting easier this morning but like you said it didn't change anything, it also wouldn't give me a battery icon on mg status bar. I tried regular settings and miui settings but nothing worked. Even when I would plug my phone onto my charger I would get a battery icon with a ? Inside it. I never tried a reboot ...maybe ill reflash and try again.

Are you running stock? a custom rom?
I'm using synergy, it just stopped working. Was working before.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda premium
go to settings --> security--->-->lock screen options and make sure ripple effect is checked..also make sure your lockscreen type is set to swipe
have you toggled it to another lock type just to see if it will revert it?
On my phone with Synergy 1.6, I either get lock screen options or I don't. If I have the lock screen menu I can always edit the ripple.
Im running synergy 1.6 and my ripple works fine...if what i told you doesnt work do a factory reset
It's worked fine until a little while ago. I've changed nothing. The box is checked, but I can't check out uncheck in options because it's greyed out. I'm going to try a reset.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda premium
If a reset doesn't work you will probably have to odin back to stock and re flash synergy
Fixed it. Thanks for input everyone. Here's what I did to fix, it's actually likely a simple bug. I changed the lockscreen wallpaper, and changed it back. That's all, and now it works again.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda premium
haha glad you got it working again!
seems it doesnt like live wallpapers, the ripple seems to only stay for stuff in the wallpaper and gallery selections
even though a ripple is already build into the lwp I have, it just ignores it and uses a lock icon

Hey guys, I'm stumped, I'm using SlimBean 2.9 and random this problemly started occuring. Whenever I unlock my phone, the notification drawer goes away and it won't come back, I've spent a lot of time looking through settings and changing things and nothing has helped. I didn't change anything when this initially happened.
The notification drawer appears when I turn the phone screen on but then it's gone when I unlock the phone.
Check that you hadn't hidden your bar in launcher settings inadvertently.

Checked and installed 3 different launchers, reset all the settings and the problem persists. By the way, I think maybe the correct name is "status bar"". It's the bar on the top that shows notifications and time and such;
So I'm guessing it's the rom, really want to try avoid reinstalling the rom if possible......It's SlimBean from SlimRom
I installed it and have managed to use it to edit the quick settings but there is a setting for sound that I can't get rid of. Am I missing something?
I go to GravityBox>Statusbar tweaks>QuickSettings management>Statusbar Quicksettings tiles
Sound isn't listed there.
I have a 'volume'. Isn't that what you mean? It's just before Network mode and after Ringer mode
Where do you get the apk?

It didn't work right for my S7 I couldn't add a hotspot toggle
Sent from my SM-G930P using XDA-Developers mobile app
I used the Superman ROM and found a setting in that to stop the toggles scrolling by only showing five on screen at the top. I got rid of Good Lock as that seemed to be cause the problems I had.
Now I just need to work out how to have widgets on the lock screen.
