More important question though is what led up to this problem? What exactly were you trying to do? Or did do? What are you trying to ultimately achieve? The more in depth detailed response you give back then easier will it be for someone to properly help you with your current set back.

which RUU is correct for me to update radio

i have two questions
first is
1. for moonshine i need to have 3.14.531.11 (T-MOB) for it to work . How do i check which firmware i have ?
if moon shine is not possible with my version then
2. how do you figure out which RUU is the right one ive been googling the past 30 mins i couldnt find the answer
im trying to update my radio
are there any steps i have to do after i run the RUU.exe on my phone ?
do i have to relock first ?
all the info i have
One S (s4)
twrp 2.5
S-on
T-mobile US
CM10.2
kernel 3.4
Hboot 2.15
openDsp v31.1.0.45.0815
current raido :1.11.50.05.28_10.27.50.08L
using the getvar method
i get this
(bootloader) product: vle
(bootloader) platform: HBOOT-8960
(bootloader) modelid: PJ4010000
(bootloader) cidnum: HTC__203
using fastboot getvar version-main

It basically flashes a modified HBOOT, if anything is to go south, your phone goes with it so yes, IF it is to brick your phone, it will be pretty much bricked.
But your latest baseband and hboot indicates that you had updated your phone OTA, hence you have the firmware which they support.

Yes, if you haven't flashed any other firmware then you're good to go.
Fastboot is a feature of sense ROMs only. No need on CM.

I tried connecting my phone to my computer and running the latest RUU exe but it doesn't recognize my phone, does anyone have a flashable zip? Sorry to thread hijack but need a response and a fix asap.

Cant Install any roms

I had Illusion (4.2.2) and wanted to try odyssey so when i flashed it i got an error someone on that thread told me i should update the firmware to 4.3 which was right but i dont think it worked because i am still on 1.14 hboot so im like screw it ill just use a 4.2.2 rom try liquid (and illusion again) and its giving me the same error as the first one so now im "rom'less" btw the error is [getprop("ro.bootloader") == "2.15.000"]
help as fast as possible would be highly appreciated as my phone is a important part of my day

The latest RUU is that of ICS.
Once you are on stock ICS, receive the OTA update to acquire Jellybean with all the latest firmware. Make a backup of that ICS and Jellybean ROMs too. Helpful nowadays.

No
Actually its not possible to convert system.ext4.win to system.img.
We just need somebody to take it out from a rooted phone.

If it's softbricked, wait for RUU

At the end I ask the help to llabtoofer that resolved me the problem for 25 $.
I preferred to have the RUU, but now I have my phone working again!

Of course... He connected to my pc with TeamViewer. Then he downloaded the RUU and he simply used fastboot to flash it to my phone. Then he deleted the file so I don't have it anymore.
He solved my problem now because my phone is working again!
I think is a good comprise for only 25 USD....
Anyway before you pay he checks if he can resolve the problem!
I'll do the same.
At least it's the only way to make my phone works again.
