While I think it´s a great idea to have a tempered glass screen protector so we can have a nice protection against drops (I once broke my S3 screen in a pretty small and stupid fall) and scracthes I refuse to pay the 25 to 35 dollars the brands like spigen are asking for a mere screen protector.
So, suggested by another forum user, I ordered this screen protector, ther seller shipped it in the 21th so I should be getting it in a couple of weeks...

For the price it is tempting... It's a throw away if it isn't any good.
Little strange though, when I went to the link, it popped up a dialog asking my language (English wasn't a choice) and a list of countries they ship to (US wasn't one). I know it's a Chinese company, the sites in English, and I think they ship to the US, but that's weird.
I bought similar protector from ebay, it was ~10$ from china. It has been awesome protector and after month of using it, zero scratches! Only cons I give from way too wide cutout on top and open cutout below the home button. Otherwise it's very good protector. And yeah the jelly buttons that it came with was rubish.

So there is no need to use the jelly buttons, the home button is easily accessible? Was is easy to apply? How thick was yours... 0,5mm? If you can please post the link for the deal or some photos.

Actually there is no use for jelly buttons because of that cutout at the bottom, but I will install one when I get my spigen case. It was super easy to apply, no bubbles. It claimed to be 0,4mm but I didnt measure the real thickness. The box said GTG meaning gold tempered glass.

Regarding the eBay one the user vesu is using it for a month now and can enlight you. As for the aliexpress one the seller shipped it the 21st so I believe I will receive it in a week or so. Can't wait to put it to go with my original Spigen Slim Armor View case in matte black.

No. But there is an alternative deal on ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/330938625131 that does come with Jelly Buttons but users who have bougth it say they suck and are not really needed.
i'm using the china brand glass.... its gd.. really no scratches, i even tried to scratch it with a pen knife..
the price is so cheap that i bought quite afew.. installed wrongly = throw... lolz
easily wipe off the oil...

Does that case have a magnetic or velcro closure? Only reason I ask is that if you use a magnetic case, it will mess up the digital compass inside of the phone. It needs to be a velcro case.

Surprisingly... No!
I just went to a Ghost Armor kiosk at the mall and paid $20 for a person to install the screen protector. He did not have the full body protection yet. But he said that if I come back (sometime next week) all I had to do was pay the difference of $15. And he said he would replace the screen protector too... as the one coming in is precisely cut for the screen. He did a really good job of cutting the one for my phone though!

The Ringke Slim is an excellent thin case that ships with a nice free screen protector. I normally don't use their included screen protector because I prefer glass, but I'm using it now until the glass protector issues are sorted out.
I got it shipped for less than $10 through Amazon Prime.

How's the included screen protector that came with your Ringke Slim? I put mines aside cuz I'm also waiting for a good glass, but debating if I should just slap the free one on.. Do you notice any glare when using your phone outdoor? And how does the edges look with your screen protector on?
It's a perfect cut. To tell you the truth, I'm a little shocked how good it is considering that it was free with the case. The cuts get as close as possible without going into the bended glass portion so no lift issue. This also means you have to get alignment right during install.
As far as glare, didn't notice any. I put it on because I didn't want to rush into buying an unproven glass protector.

I must say that is by far the most impressive Ookla speed test results I've ever seen and by a wide margin.
I'm planning on buying the OPO with a screen protector along with it and the flip cover. I could see two screen protectors one being a normal one and one being premium, i don't see any differences in the site. Anyone here know? And which one should I get? Matte or anti-fingerprint? Thank you

Don't bother with either of the official OnePlus screen protectors, they're useless. You want a tempered glass screen protector, they actually offer some protection for your screen. I use the Nillkin 9H, it's outstanding. I've heard good things about the Rhino Shield one too.

Couldn't be happier with the Nillkin. Put off installing it for a bit and went naked. Really can't tell too much of a difference when it's on, and it was way easier to install than the film type protectors.

i was gonna order it along with the phone to lessen shipping costs, but nevermind i didn't get the screen protector or the glass. I only got the flip cover with it as the shipping cost got up to almost 20 dollars, so i thought that i would just get the screen protector somewhere else. Thanks btw =)

I got the Nillkin tempered glass, no issues in fixing and it and I don't find any changes to the touch sensitivity and display of OPO! Looking great..
There is a about 1 mm gap along all sides!
I preordered the case and got it today. It's awesome. Just what i wanted. I took the frosted one , i wanted to keep the white look of the phone. All the cases i found had that ugly shiny texture. Wow that's a super good deal. You'll love it. It's so much better in real and the texture is really amazing.
I have this case since day one and no problems what so ever. To be honest I love this case so much I'm super gentle when putting my phone down lol.

It's got a very slight raised lip around the camera cutout which means that the camera glass is protected. Definitely don't think that this is the strongest case on the market, but since the back of the phone is plastic not sure how strong a case needs to be.
These are on Amazon under a diff name for cheap. I can't post links cause I'm new, but just search "Slim Fit Google Pixel 3a". It was about $8 when I got it, but seems to have jumped up to $13.
Absolutely love mine. The milky white case on a white 3a is so dam sexy. Be careful putting it on, as I cracked my first one (they replaced it free ), as it's a super tight fit. Use the little tool it comes with.
If you love minamilistic, this is the case to get. Keeps the back nice and dry, where the stock back gets greasy after a few days from hand oils building up. This case stays dry for weeks and you don't have to constantly clean it.
If you are comfortable with Taobao, I bought a exactly same case on Taobao for 28 CNY (~4 USD).

I ordered the Blindbox in Germany so I got delivered the sandstone and sandstone case additionally. They are quite hard and not really flimsy. However it's true, camera protection is barely there and I don't think those cases will protect from a drop really good. Also, I want to rock a transparent case with this beautiful blue color. The included one looks and feels really good but is way to soft at the sides, this is even lesser protection than the others cases.
Currently I am using the sandstone case as it gives me way better grip than the carbon one.

I drop my phones about once per year so I need a case to protect my phones but a simple bumper case is not enough with these curved displays and depending on how the phone lands, screen might shatter even with a good bumper.case. The cover cases also prevent damage from typical day to day usage.
I have seen some really good implementation of always on displays with smart cover cases, especially from Samsung.
I cannot recommend the case I linked, I don't have it yet and I do not expect much from the case, it just happens to be one for sale now, I think beat cases typically don't get released this early. If anyone sees a good cover case, please post here, also if you see always on screen mods for the phone.

You probably wont get it for a long while unless you paid through the roof for DHL or UPS!
Im gonna have to take extra care and not drop it until I can get a cheap case from amazon while I wait for Spigen or Rhinoshield.

I used ali express. My screen protectors should be here by the last week of april while I wait for whitestone to sort theres out. I'll just use the case in the ox while I wait aswell

Had a popsocket for half a year. I liked it. I was reading web books. I did not trust it staying put . . . so . . . . I dabbed a tiny, tiny little bit of super glue at the edges.
