ROM Alcatel ot 991 - gradu ROM v1.0 (jelly bean mod)
Don't forget to make a backup of your phone before installing this ROM.
1.You need new Clockworkmood + Root.
2.Unzip "gradu's (jelly bean mod) ROM.zip" in your computer.
3.Copy the zip files "gradu ROM v1 file 1" and "gradu ROM v1 file 2" on your sd card.
4.After copy,boot into CWM, Wipe data/factory reset,and Wipe cache partition.
5."Install zip from sd card" - first install "gradu ROM v1.0 file 1" then "gradu ROM v1.0 file 2".
6.Restart the phone and wait 2-3 minutes.
Enjoy it!

I didn't try it on ot-991D,only on 2 ot-991 phones.The main files are from my phone,an ot-991.

How to make a rom from stock rom
As you PM me and asked me to show you how to make a rom from stock rom,here it is:
1.You need rooted phone and Root Explorer
2.Acces system files and extract them into a new folder into your sd card.
3.After exctracting,copy them into your pc.
4.For file 1 you need to copy custpack,boot.img,recovery and check_data_app, and also create 2 empty folders:data and system.You need META-INF,too. Give a name to file 1(ex:my rom file 1)
5.For file 2 you need to copy data and system (from the system files,not the ones you created for file 1),also you need META-INF,installbusybox and logo.bin. Give a name to file 2 (ex:my rom file 2)
6.Create 2 archives (zip): file 1 and file 2.
That's all,now you can try it!
Download "files mod rom+Root Explorer",unzip,copy them:

I tried your rom, rom when lifted out of the picture Jefta, you stole jefftin rom just changed your application did not even know how to boot images and then edit a shame.

Its the same JAFFTA rom, you just changed some apps, you didn't even know how to change the boot logo. You should be banned from xda.

Yes, this is the same JAFFTA rom....not nice labor of others to use as its.

Both, Jeffta and Gradu is not a rom is the stock rom customized.Hey jeffta when you make ics or jb transfered on this phone then is a rom,made it to you.Any stock rom is the best for now.sorryfor my bad english.

Like an information for you,if you have doubts,this is not a copy of jeffta's rom,it's made by me from my ot-991's original rom.I didn't tell that my rom is better or worse than jeffta's,i only uploaded for you to try it and enjoy it.So,if you think my rom is better,then use it,if you think jeffta's rom is better,then use that one.Just stop blaming me and appreciate our work and the time we are losing for making new roms and new things for you to enjoy them.

yesterday some user reported that after flashing with the official mmx jelly bean
their screen looks dull.so here is the vivid colour patch for the mmx official jelly bean update..
extract the zip file and flash through sp tool.:good::good:

How to install?
I am trying to flash via SP tool but dunno how.. please elaborate buddy!

This patch makes the blue color glow like ultraviolet. Other colors are more saturated enough than stock. To the developer- You made a great color patch.. That means you can make different kinds of color patches I hope.

Are you Blind actually .....This Patch has been used and confirmed many times before posting......This is based on the Vivid Display of Micromax V1 Stock ROM........Any way its having better colour than all Other ROM's of yours available till now :silly:

Yes dear friend install root explorer go to system/build.prop before that don't forget to do w/o then give. Long click on the prop file and click open text editor then edit what nd all you want to do. That's it revolt and enjoy. Don't forget the thanks button.

I was facing same error : Status 6 then after tunning status 7. Now after more fine tunning, it fixed, use this attached boot.img . working perfect.
hope this will resolve Logo issue !

Replace this bootanimation.zip file in system/media using some root explorer
and set the permissions to rw r r

Downgrade canvas 2 to ics

THERE ARE TWO METHODS TO DOWNGRADE CANVAS 2 TO ICS.....
RECOMMENDED METHOD-- USING CWM RECOVERY: THE EASIER METHOD....
DOWNLOAD THIS RAR FILE AND EXTRACT IT.
you will find a folder with name as 2012-12-14.21.21.45
create a new folder in external sd and rename that folder-'clockworkmod'
make another folder inside that folder and rename it to-'backup'
now inside this folder paste the above extracted file.
REBOOT INTO RECOVERY.
go to backup and restore.
now select restore and select that file whose name is 2012-12-14.21.21.45
go to advanced and wipe delvic cache.
select wipe data/factory reset and also wipe cache partition.
now reboot your phone..
USING SP FLASH TOOLS:A BIT TRICKY METHOD....
DOWNLOAD AND EXTRACT THIS RAR FILE TO ANY SPECIFIC FOLDER.
THEN DOWNLOAD SP FLASH TOOLS FROM HERE..
extract sp flash tools to any specific folder any run as administrator.
go to options and check usb mode
again go to usb mode and click download all-download speed-force to high speed
now click on scatter loading option
locate the folder where you have extracted this rar file,there you will find one text file.....select it
you will see a list of files(and all of them is selected)
(DO NOT DESELECT ANY FILE AS IN THE CASE OF PORTING CLOCKWORK RECOVERY)
ENSBLE USB DEBUGGING ON YOUR PHONE AND SWITCH IT OFF...
remove the battery to make sure that the phone is completely swicthed off
now click on FIRMWARE UPGRADE option
but if you are running on jellybean then try DOWNLOAD option
now connect your phone in battery removed state with pc via usb cable
you will see a green coloured bar indicating the process
when all is done you will see a message DOWNLOAD OK
now close the sp flash tools and switch on your phone.
When u switch on u will find that stock unrooted ics have been flashed on ur fone...

Yes but using sp tools
If phone not rooted you can downgrade using sp tools . But remember to do factory reset after install from the stock recovery menu .

I will not recommend to downgrade using stock recovery as it can brick ur fone.
U can downgrade by using cwm recovery. Flash it via sp tools.
Or u can use sp flash tools to downgrade.

Yup this folder contains the ics backup.....you have to place it inside the 'backup' folder which you have to make inside the 'clockworkmod' folder.
Then cwm just restore this backup and all is done.
And regarding cwm recovery u can also port it without root.
I m sending a tutorial of it.

Hey follow these steps to port recovery on ur unrooted jb..
NOTE-IT WILL NOT ROOT UR FONE BUT ONLY FLASH CWM..
FIRST DOWNLOAD THE FOLLOWING FILES:
1.Sp flash tools
link: d-h.st/t5c
2.recovery image
link: www.mediafire.com/download/2j9rlu41ksnz83z/recovery.zip
Extract sp flash tools and recovery.zip to get recovery.img( .img is the file type)
open sp flash tools(run as administrator)
.
click on scatter loading option and browse for the file in that folder
where you have extracted flash tools.you will find a text file...select it.
now a list of files will be shown in the flash tools
check RECOVERY file
now select RECOVERY FILE by single clicking on it
browse for the location where u have placed the downloaded recovery image and select the extracted recovery image.
NOTE-IF YOU FIND ALL THE FILES INCLUDING RECOVERY FILE ALSO SELECTED THEN MAKE SURE TO DESELECT ALL EXCEPT RECOVERY.
NOW SWITCH OFF YOUR PHONE AND REMOVE THE BATTERY
now click on download option in flash tools.....
connect your phone in 'BATTERY REMOVED' state
wait till the process completes....
after the process has been completed it will show DOWNLOAD OK
close sp flash tools and disconnect ur fone from ur pc and put the battery back.
WITH THIS U HAVE FLASHED CLOCKWORK RECOVERY ON YOUR CANVAS 2.

I got u guy....u possess an unrooted canvas 2 running on jb with stock recovery or built in recovery...
U should first port cwm on ur fone and then u can easily downgrade to ics

Root Canvas 2 Plus A110Q V2 ROM 4.2.1

Steps to Root Canvas 2 Plus A110q V2 ROM:
Note: Rooting voids your warranty. So know the consequences before doing it.
Also if your phone gets damaged, I am not responsible for it.
You can find V1 or V2 by seeing your phone's "Custom Build Version" in Settings > About.
If it ends with "xx_MMX_12_flasher_user" then its V1 and if it is "xx_MMX_16_flasher_user" then it is V2.
Step 1 : You need to flash CWM recovery using SP-Flash Tools. First install drivers (USB Drivers MMX A110Q)
Step 2 : Download and Extract SP-Flash Tools
Step 3 : Download and Extract Scatter File and Preloader files
Step 4 : Download, Extract and Rename as recovery.img
Step 5 : Put Preloader, recovery.img and scatter file in one folder. Open Flash_tool.exe from SP_FLASH Tools
Step 6 : Select "Scatter-loading" and select "MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc.txt" from created folder and Select "Download" option, it will search for phone now (note three files are selected that are in folder)
Step 7 : Switch OFF the phone. Connect it with USB (in OFF state only) (proper divers must be installed as said above)
Step 8 : If all goes well you'll see data transfer. At the end there will be Green Circle in middle of screen which means recovery is flashed.
Step 9 : Download SuperUser binaries and place zip file in root of your sdcard
Step 10 : Press Volume Up + Volume Down + Power button for some seconds and enter recovery mode
Step 11 : Select install zip from sdcard and select the downloaded file. Flash it.
Step 12 : Check if it is properly rooted with root checker app
*** You must backup in CWM after step 10. So your data remains safe.
Once it is rooted, remove bloat stock apps and free up some space. Then you can remove this root and re-root again with traditional method and/or you can also replace stock recovery if you dont need cwm.
