Hi guys i just came across this post on the portal: https://www.androidroot.mobi/pages/guides/tegra3-guide-nvflash-jellybean/
And it's talking about installing nvflash on nexus7,... etc and also on tf300t and it states:
The current AndroidRoot.mobi bootloader versions are
Transformer Prime TF201: 10.4.2.15
Transformer TF300: 10.6.1.15.3
Transformer TF700: 10.6.1.14.4
Nexus 7 (2012): 4.13
Support on bootloader 10.6.1.15.3? does this mean it just got updated or is it a mistake or something?
thanks,
noahvt

Doesn't look like one to me, as they have each model's file listed separately. I'll be testing this shortly on my spare to see if it works and report back. Stay tuned.

Worked with .29 and redid it after updating to .30. Very simple.

You must unlock the bootloader to do it.

i think you have to downgrade the firmware if you are on the latest firmware to 29

I should clarify. My previous post is correct if you upgraded to jellybean. If you are still on ICS, you can root using the debugfs method found in the Dev section. You can do this on v30 for the t and v40 of the tg.

How to unlock the boot loader on JB? On the Asus site it says "(Only works with TF700T ICS OS)." It also works in JB? Or there another way to unlock it?
This has been discussed about a million times already, but the unlock tool works just fine on Jelly Bean...

good morning friends i am new to xda and I want to root my tf700 and this and not ready yet to unlock the bootloader as my asus in new.
thanks beforehand
In order to root the Infinity without unlocking the boot loader you must first downgrade to ICS, root, then use OTA rootkeeper to keep the root when upgrading to JB.

That should be the link to the correct thread.
