Need Phone Manager that supports screen lock - General Questions and Answers

Hi all,
The AMOLED on my Galaxy S4 is cracked and the phone is about to be sent off for repair. I have most things backed up to SD with Titanium Pro, but there is some stuff I've added since the last backup that I'd like to retrieve if possible.
The problem is I have a pin screen lock, enforced by my work email account. I've tried Kies and MyPhoneExplorer but neither will connect to a phone with an active screen lock, and with a knackered screen, I can't unlock.
Does anyone know of a phone manager program (Win or Linux) that allows screen lock pin to be entered from within the app?
TIA,
I.

[Resolved] [Q] Retrieve contacts with a Bad Digitizer and Screen Lock Code on Touch Pro 2 SOLVED

I have an HTC Touch Pro 2 that now has a bad digitizer, and I am unable to use any touch-required functions. I only wish to retrieve the contacts from the phone in a way that I can get them on a new phone, even if it just means re-entering them into a new device. I just do not have any back up of the contacts, and need to be able to access the list on the phone.
I cannot "slide to unlock", so I am unable to navigate the phone or install anything on the phone. When I connect to my PC with an SD card it will connect in Mass Storage mode, and I can access the SD card only (not the phone system files). If I remove the SD card, and attempt to connect with ActiveSync/Windows Mobile Device Center I am prompted to enter my screen lock code on the phone - which I cannot do because the digitizer is broken. I do know the lock code, if there is any way to enter it without using the touch screen.
I have been searching around quite a bit, and I found a program called MyMobiler that looks like it would work, if I could get past the lock code. I have also downloaded the Windows Mobile Developer Power Toys, which also is unable to connect to the phone until I can enter the screen lock code.
Just to clarify, I have thoroughly read over this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=852189#9434585
Is there ANY way that I can get access to the phone long enough to even just physically read and re-enter my contacts? Being able to import them would be nice, but I just don't have any backup whatsoever. Thanks for your help.
****UPDATE****
Solution: By pressing 911 on the keyboard, the phone assumed I was trying to make an emergency phone call and brought up the pin pad. I backspaced the 911, and typed in my unlock code. Now I am into the phone, and I can use the keyboard to navigate, and I can transfer the contacts to the computer. So glad I figured this out, and I didn't need to pay anyone to fix it for me. Good luck to anyone with the same problem.

Cracked Screen - Need Data from Phone

Help!
Ive got a samsung galaxy s2 - originally it was on the UK Orange network, but since then I have flashed it with a different European firmware (unsure which one).
The screen has cracked therefore I can not use the touch screen at all.
I can not see anything on the screen except the battery level.
I need to take the data off it (pictures, vdeos etc.) which are stored on the phones internal memory.
When I connect it to my windows xp PC, it comes up in My Computer but when I try opening it it shows nothing.
I think this is because I need to unlock the screen (4 digit pin).
When I connect it to Kies, it says I need to enter the screen unlock code - But I can not due to the screen being cracked.
Only the hardware buttons work.
Is there a way I can connect the phone to my PC and get the data off?
I need somesort of app that will allow me to mimic/display the phone screen on my PC so that I can enter this screen unlock code to get into the phone.
Or can I do a refresh (restore factory setting/clear operating system) at boot up so that when it does eventually boot up into the welcome/set up screens, I can connect it to my PC to transfer the data off?
Can someone please help?
The is the Galaxy S 3 forums man, try the Galaxy S 2 threads.

Go to google play on your PC. Log into the google account for that phone. Install "Android Lost" from the market and download your data with it. It's a beta test program but it's free. If it doesn't work you only lost time.
When installed you got to androidlost.com to use it's tools such as wiping the data, or backing it up. I've used it to find phone location, make the phone talk, and take pics from the cameras (in case it's stolen). But I've never tested wiping or backing up data.

Any way to unlock android phone with a broken screen with pin required on restart?

I JUST got a replacement LG v20 (like literally sent back my first V20 on thursday) for a v20 that wasn't quick charging. And I left it on top of a car when pulling out of a gas station and it fell off and promptly got run over. First cellphone I've ever actually broken or even cracked a screen on. So annoying.
Anyway, the phone was still working using my bluetooth headset but I didn't realize and the battery died shortly after. I'd like to try and backup a few things on the phone before switching over to my insurance replacement (specifically let Whatsapp backup automatically run at 3am, backup SMS messages and backup call log) but I have the PIN required on restart option set. Everything I find online about getting an android phone unlocked with a broken screen seems to be talking about the screenlock and not the PIN on restart feature. Before I go buy an OTG breakout cable to use a mouse and HDMI monitor will that even work with PIN on restart? Can I connect to the phone with ADB before it actually boots into android (and set the USB connection as something other than only charge; not even sure I've set USB debugging yet since the phone is so new for me)?
It won't be the end of the world if I can't get into the broken phone, my photos are automatically backed up to Google drive, all my contacts, emails, tasks, calendar etc are cloud based (exchange server or gmail). Really the only thing I'd lose would be SMS's since last week, whatsapp since last backup, and my call log. But that would be really annoying to my pseudo OCD; I have an uninterrupted record of every text message I've ever gotten since treo in 2004.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Hello,
The situation is faced by lots of people and this is really very irritating. But I would like to tell you that there are ways to unlock your Android phone with broken screen. Maybe you are not aware of this fact but actually, you can unlock your phone without typing password on phone. The only possible way is by using a professional tool like Android Unlock. This is a great utility that helps to unlock any device whether its dead or broken, whether its locked with PIN, fingerprint, face lock, password etc. This tool is just amazing as it effectively works to unlock Android phone with broken screen.

Recover Photos (Forgotten Lock Screen Code)

Hi, I have a friend who has been locked out of her Galaxy S6. Either she hasn't forgotten the lock code, or Something has locked her out (Samsung bug) or 360 Security Lock Screen hijack
I want to reset the phone to factory defaults (due to the 360 security thing). But she has photo's she wants to backup first. She hasn't got a samsung account, and debug mode is off. I've tried dr.phone lockscreen removal and data recovery software, but you have to pay for those features.
What is promising, is that dr.phone showed previews for the photos it can recover.
For those not familar with the dr.phone process. I had to put the phone into ODIN download mode, and then the windows app was able to scan for the files.
Has anyone got any suggestions on how to proceed?
Thanks in advance
Is FRP lock enabled? (You can check it on ODIN screen (Download mode))
Does she's able to access her google account on a PC? from there you can access to locate your mobile and lock it with a new password. After that use the new password on the phone and disable any kind of unlock method that is set.

Smashed screen, how to disable fingerprint authentication ?

Hello,
My phone got smashed yesterday, and I would like to recover as much as I can from my phone.
The screen is dead and the fingerprint reader doesn't seem to work either. On the other hand, I am still able to unlock my phone with the front camera and with the pin code. The phone responds to adb and I can see the screen on any mirroring app.
My question is how can I access apps/services than asks for fingerprint ? Is there a way to switch authentication mode with adb ? The main issue is that when I get an authentication, the phone is mirroring a black screen so I don't know where to tap to change the authentication method. Could I use a USB-C to HDMI cable and then send signals with adb ? Is there any easier way to do this ?
I cannot backup my phone apps via Google backup as it asks me for fingerprint and some of my apps are not even set up to sync with Google backup..
backup your adbkey.pub (just in case)
try scrcpy (delete bundled adb.exe)
