Chainfires NoMoarPowah!

been using this app on my phone for the last few weeks and it works great
havnt seen any one mention it being used on the note
its worth checking out
NoMoarPowah! The only program that runs when your phone is off but charging!
NoMoarPowah! replaces that boring charging animation when your phone is turned off but connected to the charger with a fully functional program!
!! This app is only for a select number of Samsung devices. It does not work on any other devices. See the list below !!
!! This app requires a fully rooted device !!
NoMoarPowah! can automatically reboot into Android when charging is done. Either when fully charged, or when the battery level reaches 15% and Android has enough juice to run.
But wait, there's more! NoMoarPowah! can also reboot at a custom time. It will even suggest times based on your currently set alarms, so your phone will be rebooted just before the alarm goes off and you need to wake up! This way you can be sure nobody will bother you while take your well-deserved nap, but still wake up when you need to.
Tested on the following devices:
- Samsung Galaxy S (I9000) and family
- Samsung Galaxy S2 (I9100) and family
- Samsung Galaxy Tab 7" (P1000) and family
- Samsung Droid Charge
- Samsung/T-Mobile Sidekick 4G
- Samsung Continuum (ticker overlaps)
It half works on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (all models): the functionality is there, but the touch screen does not work in charging mode.
Other devices from the Samsung Galaxy series with a resolution of 800x480 or more may work as well.
A Pro/AdFree version is also available.
!! Some custom ROMs may disable NoMoarPowah! functionality !!

It hasn't been tested on our Note so how can we know there won't be issues?

Because I've been using it for weeks with zero issues

This only works on TouchWiz roms.

Does the touch on buttons etc. work for you guys?

@FramedTrash please state your ROM and kernel in OP so that we have more easier identification :good:

Any screenshots of Lockscreen will be good !! i wanna seee it

Please get this unlock screen if .... the ICS of R is not bad, but it's something soseta for things well that even if they change and must change with the full update.
Besides the AOSP Lock me personally it does not work, it's a shame for something more than the current ICS galaxy r.

You can download the Galaxy SIII Dandelion and put the unspecified WidgetLocker wallpaper, to me it grabs and ICS slider option and animated water background, is the closest thing we can get for now.

I've installed Dandelion days ago.
It's beautiful, but is not what I'm waiting for. It's only a live wallpaper, not the lockscreen.
Any lockscreen like GS3?

I'm saying, if you install the app WidgetLocker and do not set the screen saver, wallpaper dandelion leaves as background of WidgetLocker .... is what's either that or nothing

It's the closest thing I can find combining programs.
The new upgrade fund allows displacing the water where you move and where you click.

[APP][JB] AWESOME NOTE from GNote 8", patched... hopefully more stable

So, thanks fo Jujuburi, we have a nice Awesome Note apk to play with.
Unfortunately, it's not perfect: random FCs, blank setting pages, FC'ing passcode lock, broken web sharing.
I quickly patched the apk and it *seems* to work better. Namely:
- I am not getting random FCs
- All settings work, including passcode lock
- Web sharing works (http://your_device_ip:10000)
Hastily tested on GNex, original GNote w/AOSP and Touchpad.
All apologies if you find this APK to work even worse than the original one

Note: if you have already installed AN, you will have to uninstall it first as the signatures will conflict.

Well, implied is not as good as clearly stated: yes, it appears that the app was designed for Jelly Bean.
BTW, what kind of parsing errors?

On Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 there is no problem with the pass code .

Thanks! This is the most stable one on my Nexus 4. But trying to tag a location doesn't work. The map just shows up as a grey grid. I think its actually locating, but just greyed out map for some reason. Any ideas?

Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 P3100

This app is amazing and whatever changes you did to it, it does work very well now but the only thing I'm really seeing is a bit of the right side getting cut off. As you can see the calendar is missing the 6th and the corresponding days underneath it and then also on the landscape screen its missing a little bit. I have tried to change the DPI and hybrid settings and still everything looks this way. haven't found a fix yet. I will post if I find one. Thanks OP!
Edit: landscape seems to be cut off by the nav bar. Durr. I really hope they make this for our phone already. Let's GO Samsung! I'm sure someone here will crack this open soon if we don't get it.

Love the smartwatch, but the icons are terrible

Hi there! I returned Galaxy Gear and got SM2 instead. So far I'm happy with it, but I just can't stand the icons on my watch. They are really terrible and whole different style than the ones I'm using on my phone. Is there any way to change them? Editing APK? Connecting SmartWatch to PC?

no galaxy s3 support which is ridiculous (if not custom rom, then my phone would still be on 4.1.2 version of android). tried custom rom slimbean 4.3 and galaxy gear just do not pair, do not even show current time until connected through bluetooth. too many troubles with it.

Be no good for me, my fingers would cover half the screen at a time :laugh:

i had some luck with editing the icons! i just backuped up the original APK and replaced some graphic files inside, signed apk and installed again. not all apk work this way though, but the smartwatch looks so much better now.
and yeah, these are ios icons.
if you press on music icon it gives you control over poweramp music player on my s3, and if i press the maps icon it show me current location on the map.

Gear S3 Not Compatible? Can't install apps or use Samsung Pay...

So I pair my Gear S3 with my PH-1 and got that all going just fine. Pairing another phone always involves resetting the watch so I have to go download a few apps afterwards and I can't! I get an error from the Gear app's store saying "This device does not support Gear."
Everything else has worked fine up to this point.
Also looks like I can't install/use Samsung Pay for it either.
Super lame.

Had this problem on the mi mix and the G6. I'm pretty sure Samsung has to update the app... It got updated pretty quickly for the G6 but never got fixed for the mix... Pretty much a crap shoot on if they will update it or not.

S3 works perfect on my mi mix running resurrection. Got the s3 to connect to my essential but software crashes when I try to install Samsung pay.

Ya, I'm paired and running ok. Getting notifications and all that. Just no additional apps or Samsung Pay.

It didn't used to work on the stock rom on the Mix. Maybe it does now, not sure as I don't have a Mix anymore or a Gear s3..lol

I don't think Samsung knows WTF they're doing. Just chatted with support about this (after being directed to one support site based on my Play Store review that later told me that wasn't the right place to go)...
