It was a promotion by Samsung for the first 12,100 (I think) s3 and note 2 owners that registered their devices. Free flip cover + tectiles....I missed it by like 5 minutes as well lol. :thumbdown:

Got mine yesterday fri 25th
Hey just wanted to mention mine did finally come in yesterday for my S3. Pretty cool promotion honestly. I got 6 tectiles(a 5 pack plus one loose sample stuck to a postcard thing, that launched the playstore to download the official app for the textiles. I was pleasantly surprised that the sample one could be reprogrammed, and I could use "NFC Task Launcher" as opposed to the official app.

Nice! Mind sharing what state? Im in california and still haven't gotten it. Hopefully it comes sometime soon.

I got mine in today, in a nice shiny padded reflective envelope. I wanted the blue flip cover but they were out and got the orange instead.

Still waiting on mine as well. I don't mind though because it was completely free :laugh:

It's not releasing in stores on ATT till the 13th and many of us who chose next day shipping are getting ours tomorrow :victory:

Are you guys signing 2 yr contract or paying upfront,I ask because I'm off contract with sprint and ready to upgrade and this Phone LG G2 looks very enticing but i'm thinking what be the smartest way to do it.
1. Either buy a new phone for full price,
2. sign 2yr contract, or
3. get that new plan Edge on verizon or similar on At&T.

I'll most likely pick up this device when I get my jump upgrade in Jan/Feb. Let the phone get a little seasoned first

Did you order from T-Mobile? When did you order? I ordered mine on Thursday, next day shipping, and estimated delivery date says 9/11. How accurate is this, especially since T-Mobile doesn't start selling till the 25th?

Yes! I just got it this morning. I sent them a tweet asking if it's a system error or in fact backordered. If it is, I might just cancel if they can't give any further details on when I can expect my order.

I did. I placed an order 9/5 and got an email with an estimated delivery of 9/13. 9/6 I got an email saying it was back ordered, don't know if the estimated delivery is accurate now.

I visited bestbuy today just for fun to see if they had any demo units and they did! A white and a black on AT&T! Also got talking to an inventory guy and asked him if they had the verizon note 3 yet. He said they have not seen them yet. Should be on the truck next Wednesday for them. Also another one of the samsung demo place was setting up the galaxy gear and messed with that and he had roadmaps and diagrams for the displays and it will be there 10/10 according to their info any that says before is straight up lying to you. 10/10 in stores at bestbuy, 10/10 in stores for verizon. its 10/10 in stores people and maybe a day or so early if we are lucky on preorder! So please stop trying to say it will be in bestbuy today, tomorrow or any day before 10/10!! Just stop all these threads please!

Actually the Best Buys in the Chicago area are selling the AT&T GN3 and the Galaxy Gear...I got both today from them in the store.

I doubt we'll see anything before 10.10 except for a charge on our cards

I really hope it will be some kind of Nike Fuel band or a bracelet with a small LCD screen to show notifications with icons... I'm saying this because i've bought a SW2 for christmas so I hope that Sony will stick up with this for updates in the next months. And IMHO Sony Mobile should advertise a lot more its products.

I just got mine a month ago but I'd like to see a new one with a speaker/mic for calls and texts via google now, that would be the perfect one to me

I am hoping that the next watch to have Google now, and a better higher res screen and possible running android as than It would be fast as at the moment it sometimes takes 5 seconds to open an app

Well, given the several iterations higher model number, the new watch could be their Galaxy Gear competitor with a price tag to match, ie their flagship/highend watch, and the SW2 will be their mid-line watch.

I hope too will be a Nike fuel thing. Not because I have bought the sw2 but I need a freaking pedometer that just works and can show phone notifications.

Now that CES is right around the corner with the expectations of new smartwatches being announced by Archos.,Cockoo, Samsung (Gear 2) etc,. SONY might just announce the SW3. After all they would not want to be behind the competition. Now they also have a pretty good idea about how Samsung perceives a smartwatch. But what SONY should do is improve upon the software rather than coming up for a new device.
Which is sad for me as I recently purchased mine (about a month ago) like many of you.
But lets see what CES brings us. I am actually quite curious about the Archos offering as it is expected to be a low cost (even lower than Pebble) smartwatch.

Pebble Steel looks nice, but only at a discounted price.

I wonder what SONY is planning to do with many new smartwatches being announced. They should respond either with a new product or a stellar firmware upgrade to SW2. Otherwise competition is getting tougher each day.

Meta from metawatch seems pretty good looks wise. A week battery life is a plus too. I don't really care for a color display. If the software side is good and the price isn't ridiculous, I would seriously consider it.

XDA members always has been my tech support but hardware problems always gets to me.

But if they are releasing 100 phones a week for the next 2 months it will take a year before enough devs have the phone and can do good stuff..

Yeah but LG G3 and S5 prime is going to cost 600$/euro at least(like every other their flagship). Which is 2 times more than Oneplus One. I think Nexus 6 will be released later after August but who knows...

Yea I love the 1+ wish they would got the snapdragon 805 or tegra k1 801 they have only be new for 3 months maybe. the Amazon phone looks interesting if cheaper then the one.

To my understanding no retailer will ever sell the one plus one. You need to buy it directly from them. Though that's at least a couple months away.
