If you ordered it online you can return to any AT&T corporate store, as long as you ordered it from att.com, and avoid a restocking fee within 30 days.

the Q is should i exchange my black for white skyrocket or get LG nitro....

I keep on reading on about people returning their skyrockets with in 30 days to avoid a restocking fee. I am an Att sales consultant and this is incorrect. Any time you return or exchange a phone within 30 days there is a 35 dllr restocking fee. It is a one time courtesy as well. So for those of you who have question about our policy, there it is

quick question, if i return the phone with the buyback program.....do you check the flash counter. or just as long as the phone is in working order, looks good, and back to stock i should be ok with the buyback and to get another phone<<

Best buy has a 30 day return policy because i just returned my wife's iphone on the 30th day and no Restocking fees.

Also hoping they do. I picked up my skyrocket the 23 from a BB and if they have the white one I'm returning it.

Ordered S4 from Walmart![8-8-13][Information on firmware][TAKE the POLL]

So, this is my second S4, it may be a short run depending on how the phone ships!
Here is the info to be supplied by this post!
1. Price I paid to Walmart.
2. Time it takes to arrive, (remember I purchased online 8/8/2013)
3. What firmware did it ship with? (will report soon as I get it)
4. If not updated, (possible rooting before the update happens)

1. Good deals exist through out the various carriers, do research before you buy!
2. Good sources, (right here in this thread) suggest the firmware is on the box...(look before purchasing)
3. Athough a good deal can be had online, your taking a chance of getting the updated/locked-down firmware from hell...
4. 3rd parties as well as the carriers still are shipping the old firmware, but as old stock depletes latest will be shipping!
5. If you are fortunate to get the older firmware... do not insert Sim until rooted & booted to prevent OTA..
6. My personal S4 from walmart shipped and has a delivery date of 8/13/2013

Sorry but this thread is pointless, even if you get an mdl (pre mf3) from walmart doesnt mean all wallmarts or third parties will be the same...some att stores are still selling mdl and others mf3...it just depends what that individual store has in stock

1. That is true, but some folks want to take some guesswork out of the math equation...
2. Its a better chance for Walmart to have stockpiled S4's directly from Samsung having the old Firmware..

I believe somebody has told me sams club also doent tax the full price of the phone, only the discounted price (in california when you buy a phone you get taxed on the full $600) and that they also waive the upgrade fee...not sure about the truth about that tho

The build number is written right above the imei on the outside of the box.

Mannn I see everyone is about to get there phone but I preordered in store at bestbuy rather than online anyone else did the same?!
The order number they give you is not able to be tracked I just hope I get mine by friday :/

My store ship date for the ATT note 3's was supposed to be today so I assume that is near the same for all best buys and you'll be able to pick it up the fourth as long as the store you ordered from has inventory.

I visited bestbuy today just for fun to see if they had any demo units and they did! A white and a black on AT&T! Also got talking to an inventory guy and asked him if they had the verizon note 3 yet. He said they have not seen them yet. Should be on the truck next Wednesday for them. Also another one of the samsung demo place was setting up the galaxy gear and messed with that and he had roadmaps and diagrams for the displays and it will be there 10/10 according to their info any that says before is straight up lying to you. 10/10 in stores at bestbuy, 10/10 in stores for verizon. its 10/10 in stores people and maybe a day or so early if we are lucky on preorder! So please stop trying to say it will be in bestbuy today, tomorrow or any day before 10/10!! Just stop all these threads please!

Actually the Best Buys in the Chicago area are selling the AT&T GN3 and the Galaxy Gear...I got both today from them in the store.

I doubt we'll see anything before 10.10 except for a charge on our cards

Says ships by 26th from warehouse. I picked two day shipping. 437$ I think I paid? The email said won't charge till shipped and I was charged.... Thoughts? Is it coming sooner then I think and I just don't have a tracking?

I had the same thing happen to me when I ordered when the Nexus 5 was released. In one place it says that big G isn't going to charge you until shipped. Then somewhere else on the site I read that they can charge you a holding fee. Either way just be patient, I got mine and I like you was worried and hopeful that I would get it soon. I paid the same amount too. It's all good you will hopefully get it soon. My order came in about 4-5 days after I placed it and got confirmation 3 days after I ordered. GL

I got the 32 just because its quicker then waiting for the 16s and can always use the space haha
