[Q] Bluetooth issue - HTC One S

Hi,
Since I tried to install Elemental kernel 4.3 and restore the phone from a nandroid backup because kernel make my One S stuck on boot logo, I have a Bluetooth issue. When the phone search a Bluetooth device it don't recognize my Bluetooth earphone. I couldn't use the last Elemental kernel version because it needs S-OFF.

If I get a replacement through T-Mo...

Will it be rootable? I hear there is a new boot loader or something along those lines, would that cause any issues?
No it won't be a problem but you should start gathering up all the tools you need because your new sensation will come with the hboot 1.27 or 1.28 and I just s off my sensation and I had hboot 1.27.0000 I now have hboot 1.27.1100 and it was easy all did was downloaded this all in one toolkit that does it all it will s off and root and super cid I can provide you a link to my dropbox and that way all you would need to do is download the zip and unzip it and open the tool folder and scroll down and you will see a icon that says menu you will then place that menu on the outside of the tool folder and when ready connect the sensation via USB and choose sync mod and click on the menu icon and every thing is done by number's for example if won't to s off press number 1 and it will do just that it will do everything you need it to do

Hello Deiskei
I got a warranty replacement on my Sensation two weeks ago. The replacement came wth the original stock GB installed. Frankly I expected ICS. I simply performed S Off using Revolutionary, 4EXT Touch latest version, then ARHD 1.2.0. Everything went flawlessly.
Have no fear.

I got a replacement from TMOUS a month or two ago. It came with the 1.50 GB ROM and whatever hboot comes with that firmware. I honestly didn't check. I think it's 1.19 or 1.20 hboot?
I left it like that for a day, then flashed the 3.32.531.14 TMOUS RUU (1.27 hboot) that got leaked a day later. Then I used juopnutbear to s-off and the rest is history.
I wouldn't worry about an upgraded hboot either way.

Boot Looped :(

My dad asked me to root his HTC Sensation after seeing my HTC Sensation and all its rooted glory... Well his phone had a different HBOOT. Mine was 1.27.0000 and his was 1.28.something maybe 0000? Well anyways so my HTC Sensation was left S-ON and I just Enabled SmartFlash using 4Ext and mine booted fine. His however I did S-OFF and both our bootloaders are unlocked and both are rooted.
I tried installing a custom ROM (same on mine) and now his Sensation is in a bootloop... The custom ROM in question is Elegancia - Sense 4.1 v3.1.0
I feel like it might be because he was running Gingerbread (I believe) and I was running ICS. However he loved the custom ROM I was using so is there any way?

Since the previous ROM was Gingerbread, the firmware would have been the older one. Just update the firmware to the latest 3.33 and the bootloops should be gone (if not try reflashing ROM after firmware update). There is a guide as well for updating the firmware.
Check the thread of the custom ROM you tried to install, it should state which firmware needs to be installed for this ROM.

Elegancia needs 3.33 firmware.

Hi,
If you want help, then, it is important that you post CORRECT information.
Otherwise you could be given wrong information which could lead to brick.
If he was running GB,then, his hboot would have been 1.18
If this is correct, then, post the COMPLETE hboot page,so that you can receive the correct guidance...
EDIT:
I notice you also have questions in the Help Thread.
Please keep your questions in ONE place.

[Q] (HELP) My sound does not work

Hello members of this forum. I did root my phone HTC Inspire and Install a ROM (link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1680418&nocache=1 ) that I leave the phone bricked. Look here in the forum and found the ROM GingerSense by Westito great. I remove the phone from the brick that I had but the sound does not work. My phone is root but still S-ON. Tell me, I can install the ROM from Sense 3.5 to restore the sound?
Did you full wipe? Did you flash the boot.img from fastboot? Did you try another ROM?
if a friend did everything you mentioned above . I tried all the roms based on sense 3.0 and none of them work only I published. Try a sense from 3.5, the set and said the process was completed successfully, but when you restart the phone remained bricked. So I went back to install the ROM developed by westito, but still no sound.

Hi,
I'm trying to flash the Bubba Kernel (Also tried torch kernel) latest onto my HTC One XL and it keeps getting stuck at the HTC screen (looping infinitely) without even loading the ROM.
Info:
HTC One XL evita (Not the international, so I'm on the right forum)
S-OFF

hboot 2.18 (i.e. ATT Firmware 5.18)
PACMAN 4.4 ROM
Please help.
Have you tried the QV version of the Bubba kernel or only the standard version?

I am on the same HBOOT and ROM with Torched 4.3 noOC ad noVC version without issues.
If you had read the last page of the bubba kernel development thread, you would know that most if not all are currently unable to flash the latest version. The slightly older version seems to work. The developer is working on it.

[Solved] Installed Torched-KK-noOC-noVC.Build4.3
FYI, tried slightly older versions of bubba kernel bubba_kernel-2014-05-19_QV_Elite.zip and bubba_kernel-2014-05-24_QV_Elite.zip
Both initially worked but later started causing boot loops. The kernel developer has acknowledged this bug and has said he's fixing it.
Meanwhile I've switched to Torched-KK-noOC-noVC.Build4.3 and it is quite stable.
