[Q] Cyanogenmod VS. JaggyRom - HTC Pico (Explorer)

Hi people,
What do you recommend for daily use, CM or JaggyRom?
I'm not looking to run games, just use social networks but I want fluency and performance. I have no problem with using Android 2.3.5 or 4.0 +
I've tried CM 10 (4.1.2) + v2 Kernel Pandora but I didn't like the result at all, constant lag and poor performance.. :/
So, the question is:
JaggyRom V5 + Cranium Kernel vs. CM 10 + Linux Kernel 3.0 ??

[Q] ROM Suggestion

Hello guys!
I have a Galaxy Sl for over a year and currently I can not afford another powerful mobile.
I see a lot of ROM here and did not know what to install. I want to use the phone for multitasking (to have many applications installed), for games. The battery does not really matter.
I want to be very smooth and stable.
I would appreciate it if you help me.
Sorry for my english.. google translate

if you like gingerbread you can use flyonGB rom that is in the development section, it's smooth and is very stable (because we have official gb) , it's also good for battery life if you play a lot or use a lot the phone , and there tou can also overclock the phone so that you have a smoother gameplay
Or if you want the last 4.2.2 jellybean use the cyanogenmod alpha 7 from dhiru it's eating more battery and really fast but is also more responsive and have more futures then gingerbread it doesn't have overclock but is really fast
And than there are a lot of rom's based on the dhiru alpha7 that have more futures and are more costumized but not ''clean'' as the cyanogenmod
it's your choice :good:
Press thank if i helped you

DDMF1 is the latest value pack rom (FlyonGB is based on this rom)
Root maybe needed to swap your sd in order to play latest HD games (root with BAM kernel beta14fix in download mod as PDA using odin3 v1.85).
Deodexing maybe needed to apply mods and customizations.

I use CM10.2 and it goes perfectly. If you have many apps of course it is going to consume some battery.
Can I have a comparison between the roms ?
I am running PAC 4.2.2 and it is fast, stable with good battery life.
comparison between major roms

-- cyanogenmod is very simple and very less addons but very very fast, smoth and debloated.
-- pac roms are also fast and based on CM but pack of features like pie,ui changer, halo and many more over all ui is same as CM.
-- sungsonic hd is based on latest stock 4.2.2 and also full of features like multiwindow and more, the soud is like boooooom never heart sound like that on any other rom.. little bit slow than CM due to samsung touchwiz ui but sshd worth it.
you check other roms and there features in tab 2 android development section.
now its on you what you want from your tab.....
If you have a P31xx(7" version), i would definitely recommend Pure Bean HD V2. It's fast, stable and consumes similar battery as Cyanogenmod.
Stock roms are good if you want a bit more functionality and a better looking (but slow) interface.
For a P51xx(10" version) Cyanogenmod would be my recommendation. Despite having a higher resolution, the 10" tab uses the same gpu as the 7" tab and has trouble pushing more pixels. Therefore, you would want to squeeze out as much speed as possible.
Ok
Thanks for all who tried to help me
I finally decided to use PAC-Rom
MoKee Open Source 4.4. It has tons of features including multi window for apps and runs on KitKat.

[Q] Are Cyanogenmod safe and fast?

i've a rooted samsung galaxy fit GT-S5670 device on which i recently flashed some custom stock rom like Jana. But it made my device slow so i moved on to other Stock rom.
I've heard a lot about Cyanogenmod based rom and wanted to flash one of them, but i read somewhere on xda that Cyanogem mode are not compatible with some SIM and eats a lot of RAM.
I'm confused now and want to know the fact about it. Please suggest me some good stable and fast CyanogenMod for my G-fit with the links.
Any other tip you may want to give me.
Thanks,
Official latest (simple & fast) Cyanogenmod7's can be downloaded from this link:
S5670 Cyanogenmod7 Official
Tip: U need to flash Google apps separately as these roms doesn't have g-apps.
Hope this helps...!!

Cm 7 is one of the fastest ROMs available for galaxy fit, cm 9 & 10 are battery draining and a bit slow, cm 11 (currently in alpha stage) is fast and I get very good battery backup with it :good: you can initially go for cm 7 since its bug free, has everything working and supports everything (i mean swap, sd-ext mount etc), creeds ROM 4 is also a decent rom, its fast and has inbuilt governer upto 806 Mhz but after installing loads of apps, it becomes a bit laggy...

Question - Wich LineageOS based ROM is Overclockable ?

Hi everybody.
I have testing some LineageOS based ROMs lately in my P5110 and P3110 and found no overclock option so far ?
Considering the low hardware profile in our tabs and the actual real overlclock, better user experience and battery tunning / real gain we get with some CyanogenMods 6.0.1, I see no point using, until now, the new LineageOS based ROMs!?
So I ask: Is there any known LineageOS ROM or compatible kernel with overclock potential that allows to improve the user experience as the "old" CM 6.0.1 does ?
Thanks

no
No luck here as well mate, I've been forced to stick with CM13 since OC and themes are a must for me
Best user experience, for me, is with CM 6.0.1 from "[ROM][P31xx][P51xx][MM][6.0.1][Linaro][SaberMod] CyanogenMod 13" (https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2686613) and "[ KERNEL - AOSP] Dhollmen Espresso" from (https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2176563&page=138).
Can run everything I need with good speed and make tweaks to allow battery savings even possible!
Hello everybody.
I have read previous answers, thanks.
Considering the time since the original question, I would ask again:
1- if there is no option so far to add an overclocked kernel to our tabs ?
2- I am not a developer, but maybe I could get the info needed to build my own overclocked kernel and share it with the forum, where to start from ? I think these would really be faster for those already with the proper skills to do it! I mean: do you developers really use your tabs without overclock nowadays ?
Thanks again.

1-There is still no overclock available.
2-I am not a developer (yet) but I think the tab is fast enough as it is (running Slim7 if you want to know) and I don't think overclock is necessary. The place to start for building a kernel is google. I think I saw a guide in the past.
Also, keep in mind that devs make things because they want to and get no reward for that. So don't ask or press them to make anything. If you create your own kernel it will be greatly appreciated, but I think you wouldn't like people constantly asking you for something (and yes, overclock has been asked for a lot of times in the past).

TRR roms are pretty stable and are good daily drivers based on experience so you can game on them just fine. Also if your not necessarily looking for the latest OS, Venom rom was also good albeit being Oreo still....

Yep TRR roms are one of the best right now for G610X as they are stable and there are TRR roms for each android version (e.g., "Gaming" for Oreo, "Pure" and"OneUI" for Pie, and "Treble" for Android Q)
