[Q] 2 way phone recording

Does Chacha support phone call recording?

you question should be - what software should I use for call recording on Gingerbread phone

Anyone who was able to record calls with good quality on a Chacha?
I read some threads, but didn't find any answer there which is strange since even Symbian was able to record calls.
Will any custom ROM be any help there?

This does not really work. It just turns the microphone so sensitive that it will record the other side of the call (if you turn it loud enough). But the things you say will be recorded 10 times louder.
Even Symbian could record calls with a good quality on both sides, so why can't Android?

So there were no changes yet. I figured out that you will need a patch for that.
Anyone who has an idea what to do there bzw. how to port this to the Chacha?

can anyone please upload the required phone.apk and lib files for callrec mod for ICS roms??
criskelo v3 has incorporated the same with LPY ICS rom.i asked him to upload but he is unresponsive.....

just use "total recall call recorder for note".
after installation use "fix call recording" option
then reboot and then call recording will work without mic and awsome sound

I'm. Not satisfyet with total recall. Its working for some time but after a few reboots hi changes your recording settings and nothing is working any more. And it is boring with asking you on every reboot to make a phone call "for recording improve" and the only thing wats improved is that hi is not working any more.

Works on Note with settings in "Trick" section:
Audio format: MP3
Prevent sleep: on
Delay record time: 1 sec
Audio source: Phone Call
EDIT: doesn't work on 4.0.x
Total Recall for Note now work, perfectly, at least on CM9 paranoid

guys can some1 tell me best app for recording calls from both sides...tried 5-6 free apps and 2-3 pro apps but every app has the same problem...tried various settings in all apps but still failed...initial 5-6 seconds of recording is very clear gradually disturbances (noise) increases and eventually nothing can be heard...mine is non rooted stock firmware... is it related to xperia l firmware or there is some prob with ma phone only...

Probably its not your phone only. may be firmware issue. I also have the same problem.

Maybe someone can tell the best app for call recording? I tried many of them but no one records the caller voice, only mine...

Also recording calls on Android is not easy and needs kernel support to work properly.

Automatic phone call recording

I have a LG G2 and there is a way with a G2 root app (Tweaksbox) to perfectly auto record your phone calls. I have ordered my OnePlus one and I am starting to prepare the files and stuff I will flash and install. Does anyone use phone recording with their one? Is there an app? Any advice?

we do record calls.. in kitkat i use gravity box .. an xposed module that allows u to record calls but not automatic.. u have to click on the record button first..
now on cm12 i dnt know if gravity box still offers this option but i think it still does

Disable snapchat video recording sounds. (Maybe by deleting sound files?)

Hello. So I have this problem with my new phone (Huawei Honor 7) that whenever I record a snapchat video it plays a sound when it starts and stops recording. I did not have this issue using my old phone which is a Sony Xperia Z1. The sound is comming through the speaker even if my heaphones are plugged in and my sound is muted.
I thought abou deleting the soundfiles but I have no idea where to look for them. Does anyone know where the sounds are saved? I have also not rooted the phone if that is of any importance in this case.
