twrp
You could look up twrp and see if its available for your phone. its much better than cwm . flashing that may solve your problem.
similar problem
I just flashed TPR with KT747 kernel (on Sprint GS3), ran into the issue a couple others had where it shuts off after boot animation and won't finish booting. I saw that the solution is wiping, clearing cache, reinstalling, clear cache again, boot. However, when I try to boot in recovery, it takes me to odin mode instead of cwm and the screen stays on "Downloading... Do not turn off target!!" So my 2 boot options at this point either freeze my phone or turn off before completing boot.
So I am unsure how to continue. Help would be greatly appreciated =)
EDIT: Ok, I think I solved my own problem. Sorry for the unnecessary post!

I had a problem as I was on REMICS 1.4 and then decided to try "aokp_galaxysl_milestone-6" so I put it on my Sdcard and make a reboot to recovery then wiped factory reset and then installed the new flash and at rebooting to install the second part "gapps-ics-20120429-signed", I got stuck there and had soft brick.
I want to know why this happened coz am planning also to try "InDROID EVOLUTION RC1" ROM, so what is am doing wrong when changing from one ROM to another,
and why I got this soft brick ?
Plus I can't find a file for CWM, to rebot at recovery and then chose it like I do in my s6102? OR I do this by odin or what ?
I used odin to flash I9003DDLF2_I9003ODDLF2_INU but didn't loops the loading at the logo samsung, also tried to get to a backup of remics and stuck at the start and never loads ....
Thanks a lot in advance
RemICS 1.4 is fine but...
same problem here, more or less. I can't install any other package on the gt-i9003 including stock like ddkp3. tried restocking from xxkpe but the boot logo looping is all i get. we need an intervention.
Use vol up+home+power button to boot to recovery. Then wipe data. Yes there is stock recovery.

:crying:
First of all, never use the CWM app to flash anything. Problems like yours are fairly common and most devs will advise you to avoid that app.
Secondly, you should be able to fix your problems by following this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1056847
By using that program to flash a fresh CWM install to your phone you should be able to go about downloading and installing a different rom the conventional way via CWM Recovery.
I made aa video on how to fix this problem just go to YouTube and search for this " how to fix g2x from cwm " and the video was made by (cheko619619)

Hello friends,
First of all I am sorry if I am posting this in a wrong area..
Secondly, Yes, I have read everything related to this topic.
I rooted my phone...
Trying to upgrade it to DROID35.7.905BloatedDeodexed.zip
I get E: signature verification error..
Then I was told to install CWM.. I install Rom Manager v5.5.1.5
However the "Toggle signature checking" option which everyone is talking about, is not there..
When I select the option "Reboot into Recovery", the phone just normally reboots, and never go to recovery mode.
Can you guys pleassse help me in this regard? Is there any way I could turn off this signature verification option?
Is there a way to do it manually, via command line etc?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
any one ?
Stupid question but are you hitting the right buttons to boot into cwm? Vol up/vol down & power(at least on note)
Sorry if its stupid but I find it best to start simple.

Yes I do...
However, when I shutdown phone, then hit power+volUP+volDOWN ... it goes to same android's recovery system, and not to CWM's.
In the CWM I have flashed it again and again successfully..
That's just odd. Maybe go to twrp if cwm isn't working out for you?
Keep in mind I'm no dev or android guru, just taking shots in the dark. When I get a chance ill look more into it and hopefully come up with an answer that sounds like I know what I'm talking about lol.

Just installed and used twrp...
In in I hit the "reboot into recovery mode" option..
The mobile restarted into recovery mode, but still same recovery..
Here is what it is writen in recovery mode..
"Android system recovery <3e>"
Android system recovery utility
reboot system now
apply update from sdcard
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition

There is just no option to Toggle the varification check ..
You may want to start over with a fresh install

I mean obviously find the right file for your phone. I had to do this the first time I installed a rom and it went to hell.

Dont u got advance options in clockworkmod recovery
Sent from my Micromax A50 using xda developers app
Nope! nothing seems to work.
In CWM, when I press the option "reboot into recovery mode" .. The Mobile Set just nomally restarts..
It doesn't go to recovery mode that way. :/
One possibility that comes to my mind, is that, thought CWM tells me that it has successfully flashed the mobile set, it just might not have been done.. But I am not sure.. :/
Reflash cwm once more
Sent from my Micromax A50
I have reflashed it like so many times..
When I select the option to "Reboot into recovery in CWM" .. it just normally restarts
While, when I manually select "POWER+VolUP+VolDOWN" buttons.. It goes to the standard
android recovery system.
I think cwm recovery nt prsnt in ur phne
Sent from my Micromax A50
Is there anything extra I have to do for it ?
I have rooted my phone successfully, uninstalled all the bloatwares etc..
I have installed this CWM..
Is there anything else I can do ?
Off ur phne and prss vol up+menu+power and release it on seeing logo and see u can boot in cwm
Sent from my Micromax A50
Ahh last I got this..
Actually Droid3 can not simply work with CWM..
You then have to install this app
http://goo.gl/b4b6L
After installing the bootstrap in this application.. Click on "Reboot recovery" in this very same application..
However, I installed the ics4 update from file DROID3.5.7.905BolatedDeodexed.zip...
It said the install from zip is successful, but when I restarted the phone, It's same old 2.3.4 android !!! :/
Why is this ?
I rooted my S3, flashed CWM and installed CM 10.2. There are no problems at first. The next day my S3 suddenly reboots, then a screen telling than my device Encryption failed appears. afterwards, in the recovery boot, CWM shows all kinds of "E: couldn't mount". I can't do a factory reset, wipe cache partition or install zip, and I can't even move from the Samsung Galaxy SIII GT-I9300 screen everytime I boot my S3.
please help, thank you :')

I don't understand you? You can boot your phone or not? And your recovery is crashed. After you unbrick your phone, you can root it and re-install cwm recovery. :goodluck:

I WAS able to boot my phone to recovery, but right now I can't, not until this power button failure stops (it stops sometimes, but I m unsure when it will stop). It frequently occurs. Sometimes I am able to boot with no problem, but sometimes it bootloops.
I'm trying to load TWRP or any custom recovery on my above mentioned tablet but i'm just not able to load it. nor even boots normally. Only ODIN mode.
when i try recovery boot, a screen saying 'TEAMWIN' will appear shortly but soon closes and 'Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1' bootscreen comes up. I can only access ODIN(Download) mode and even tried to flash different custom recovery files and it says Passed but still again getting the same TeamWin screen loading in recovery mode and crashes in the middle and then bootloop happens.
Not sure whats the problem.
PLS Help !

I was having issues at first.
Maybe give this a try and see if it works for you.
I had to install CWM via odin, and wait a good while for the "pass."
Then I had to make sure not to let it reboot on its own.
I powered off manually, and then booted into recovery like this:
1. Volume down and power on at the same time.
2. Immediate release power when you see anything pop up, but continue holding volume down.
3. Release vol down when you see the teamwin logo.
That got me passed the part where it would automatically bypass TWRP.
I then used the toolbox to do the rest including the "fix."
I had to manually boot into TWRP at first, even with the toolbox, but that was the issue I had, and how I got around it.
Philz Recovery works.

Probably, but that doesn't mean the issue was ever solved.
I'm having the EXACT same issue as OP... All of a sudden I got bootloop when starting the tablet normally, going to recovery only shows TeamWin logo briefly and tablet reboots, and download mode works (Odin detects the tablet) but it always says "DOWNLOADING... Do not turn off target.".
Already tried installing stock rom, Philz recovery, CWM Recovery, EFS Repair... Nothing worked.

If the TWRP screen is still there after you've flashed for example the stock ROM, than it's clear that your eMMC is locked.
In this case it need's to get replaced, I'm doing this weekly, so this problem is to solve.
