[Q] HTC Explorer battery problem - HTC Pico (Explorer)

Hi guys, i have a HTC Explorer and rooted two years back and installed jaggy rom. but suddenly while using the jaggyrom, someday my battery was not charging more than 60%. how much time i may charge my mobile even a complete day still it charges only upto 60%. today i got a new battery for this phone and now it cannot charge more than 40%. Can someone help me with this.

If you are using 2.3.5 version of jaggy's it's not a bad idea to try 'wipe battery stats' option in recovery, there was also ' battery calibration' app in play store. If you are on higher version of the rom possibility of success is little, but anyway it's worth a try

at present i am using jaggy rom v5. yes i have cleared my battery stats. i can switch back to other rom if needed, please recommend me a rom that my phone should get back

someone please solve my problem

The only thing that I can recommend is to choose some cyanogen based rom(which are almost all from original development), and make sure that you are making a squicky clean install, meaning you wipe everything, even make it twice then flash it.
I have no more ideas.

How log is your battery lasting? It's normal if you drain your battery in one day with heavy usage . You can try to install Trinity kernels, TUV88 or TUV10 for lesser battery drain...

it's probably the best to first search for a guide in your device specific forum. for nearly every device there's some kind of "how to get back to stock"-guide in which every little step is already printed out in detail.
I got Invendor´s Version 3.1 with Android 4.04 at my SGS+
and erverything works so far right now....Back to stock Rom ...there must be an HoW to in here...just use the Search button =) or google=)
but the Batterylife...hmmm...if i let the 3G Conneczion the hole time on i got to reload this ervery day...so just try to stopp the connection...
BTW...what are u doin with ure phone?? That could be a good explain 4 youre battery drain ...
On my Stock rom i got almost the same drain as it gets yet...
the problem with your battery is, that your device have to learn again how full/empty your battery is. you have to load it to 100% and wait until it is empty (turns off) for 2 times, then it should be display the right %.
had the same problem with Galaxy s1 and cyanogen 9
Thats good Tor know thanks btw....

This has a workaround.
It is suggested that everytime you flash a new rom that you calibrate your battery.
The ideal method (at least that of what i've read) is:
1. Fully empty your battery
2. Fully charge your battery
3. Use callibration software (for ex: http://www.xda-developers.com/android/calibrate-your-battery-the-easy-way-with-battery-calibration-for-android/
Cheers

Help with ICS port P920

Hey community im in a bit of pickle and need some help on how to get out of it. I have a P920 which i have flashed with XBSA's ICS port. All went fine, i have then rooted the phone and installed TWRP recovery on to it. So far so good but heres where the problems begin. I have installed the several different custom ROMS available for ICS but i have a battery issue with all of them. The battery has juice left in it but after 5 mins or so of using the phone the battery drops to 1% then switches off. Thats the first issue, the 2nd issue is that im not able to change the clock widget on the lockscreen. Even though i change it in the settings when i lock the screen its still the same widget on there (London time and Seoul time widget). Help please if anybody can

No i haven't tried that, is that done through TWRP? Im having issues with downloading apps from the play store as well, i can log in but it doesnt let me download anything, keeps giving me an error plus im getting no network signal in areas where i used to have full signal when i was on gingerbread. Might have to downgrade to gingerbread again at this rate
OK the signal is only a baseband problem and yes wiping is done through recovery

if battery low and cant flash use this =)

ok guys first sry for the bad english i try my best
if you have a broken android system on your device and cant flash a recovery/rom because your battery is to low...... use this here
1. download laden.rar
2. extract the file laden.bat
3. copy the file laden.bat in your fastboot folder ( e.g c:\Android\) and you need the newest sdk-tool
4. boot your phone in bootloader and take fastboot usb ( power+vol-)
5. double click on laden.bat
6. now you battery will be load
7. maybe you must wait few hours you need ~3900mV for flash recovery
you need a unlocked bootloader
What is this?

I usually just charge up if I'm low before or during a flash

This reminds of the time i shot a racoon dead center mass with my 300 win mag leaving a hole one could plainly see through in that little punk... Also, its creepy how human like racoon paws are...

Actually you can with twrp.. I just has to reflash yesterday and I booted to recovery plugged in at 12% battery, waited for + to appear by charge percentage. And wiped and reflashed. No problem. Granted I wouldnt have tried without access to a charger to keep power to it.

Yeah I've flashed TWRP with 11% battery before.
But I'd like to know exactly what this utility is supposed to do please??

by the continual reboot the battery becomes charged
this himself is but only a short moment open repeats it because of this always
try it fun you will see it but you need a few hours
This is super sketch. Definitely wouldn't recommend anyone use it.
Not to mention most people should be using twrp anyways.

It doesn't trick anything so much as essentially give you a sort of... running meter? of how much charge you have, then resets it to gain a bit more trickle. Seems like a stupidly slow way to get trickle charge, but if for some reason you've decided to use a recovery or similar that won't let you charge while its running, then this should net you a very slow charge. As mentioned though by pretty much everyone, TWRP renders this as unnecessary, as it can charge while doing whatever in recovery.

recovery: CWM
with me this was thus after a flash process I remained in bootscreen hang... mobile phone restarts repeatedly if I it switches off
so I wanted to go in recovery, however, points only briefly bootscrren in from cwm and restarts directly
for flashen new recovery was battery to low said at least bootloader and hit also every time is absent with try it to flashen
in bootscreen and in bootloader one cannot load the mobile phone
and with this programme this has clapped could charge so far I was able flash
however, lasts long
