it's probably the best to first search for a guide in your device specific forum. for nearly every device there's some kind of "how to get back to stock"-guide in which every little step is already printed out in detail.
I got Invendor´s Version 3.1 with Android 4.04 at my SGS+
and erverything works so far right now....Back to stock Rom ...there must be an HoW to in here...just use the Search button =) or google=)
but the Batterylife...hmmm...if i let the 3G Conneczion the hole time on i got to reload this ervery day...so just try to stopp the connection...
BTW...what are u doin with ure phone?? That could be a good explain 4 youre battery drain ...
On my Stock rom i got almost the same drain as it gets yet...
the problem with your battery is, that your device have to learn again how full/empty your battery is. you have to load it to 100% and wait until it is empty (turns off) for 2 times, then it should be display the right %.
had the same problem with Galaxy s1 and cyanogen 9
Thats good Tor know thanks btw....

This has a workaround.
It is suggested that everytime you flash a new rom that you calibrate your battery.
The ideal method (at least that of what i've read) is:
1. Fully empty your battery
2. Fully charge your battery
3. Use callibration software (for ex: http://www.xda-developers.com/android/calibrate-your-battery-the-easy-way-with-battery-calibration-for-android/
Cheers

Have you tried a clean rom (factory reset before flashing and no other apps, except the preinstalled at the rom)? Is it there also present?
If no, track the app down that consumes the battery with battery widget or something similar.
If yes, ask at the given rom thread. Maybe the dev can give you a hint.
Yes, I' ve do a factory reset before flashing new ROM.....

Hi!
I'm having quite the same problem with same rom on my desire s.
Made several test; flashing again the rom, clean installation with full wipe and factory reset and battery calibration after rom flashed, with and without any app from store but with no results...
I'm not using any kind of oc program or similiar...
Still have 100% battery charged to 90 % with wifi on and sent a couple of sms...4 hours in standby (wifi on / auto sinc off) and down from 90% to 40%...

What versions of radio do you use?
I used hyperion for a month no issues, in fact best battery life of all roms, now switched to sense 3.5 check my signature for my radio
It won't be related to hboot version so don't bother upgrading to latest
Swyped from my Desire S using XDA Premium
Hi Ben!
Radio: 3805.04.02.01_M
Other Spec:
Desire S Saga SOFF (Revolutionary)
HBOOT 6.98.1002 (Revolutionary)
..................................
Hmmm, I'm using Hyperion myself - no issues here.
I'm also using the radio from the .4 update...
Battery seems normal, last me a day and a half moderate use. I suspect you may have a rouge app installed, sucking away at the battery...
Try a factory reset, and see whether that helps.

I ve just try the factory reset before flashing ROM...
Here my specs, actually quite the same of Andrea
SOFF Revolutionary
HBOOT Revolutionary
Radio:3805.06.02.03_M
I'm doing a back up in this moment and i will try another factory reset...
So I'd say after factory reset and clean install Charge battery to 100% and then Re-calibrate battery.
Don't be tempted to install any applications, run the ROM for a day or two and note the battery consumption (by using the app Battery Monitor Widget)
You need to be sensible about the amount and frequency of the data sync'ing that you are doing.
If the consumption is still high try to update the RADIO.
But....if I try flash radio before factory reset?
Sent from my HTC Desire S using XDA App
So...just reinstalled the rom after full wipe
I had to reinstall a few apps:
Battery Calibration
TweetDeck (twitter whore)
Smart Keyboard
Boat Browser Mini.
I will see how it will go in the next coulpe of days...

Buddy It is sad to see you facing problem with your device. Can you tell exactly what's your problem. What I understand from your post is whenever you remove your battery and plug it back your mobile is not turning on. You have to keep it off for 1 day before you can turn it on successfully. Is that what you are trying to say buddy?

I was using official rom not rooted one till yesterday.
I installed ICS yesterday guessing that it would solve the problem but the problem remains same & it became worst than ever before.
I am going to install the original firmware once again but I am not getting the proper link to download it. Could you please just give me the link to download ginger bread 2.3.6 for the Saudi Arabian Region?
& I think there must be a problem in boot sector. Whenever I remove the battery and plug it back to it, it takes time to turn it on at least 10 to 24 hours.
One more thing my laptop is detecting the mobile even my mobile is turn off.

I had routed my phone from 2.3.4 to 4.0.4. Below are the details:
Baseband Version: I9100DDLPA
Kernel version: [email protected]'#3
Problems:
1)Some of the applications stop abrupty.
2)Battery drain at peaks.
3)Need to charge for every 7 hrs.
4)Phone suddenly gets shutdown when using internet.
5)Restarting the phone with a fully battery makes the battery empty.
6)Touch fails in some scenarios.
My phone has Cwm recovery installed.
Any one of you please suggest me the best stable version of OS.
I am even ready to install the downgrade version if it is good.
Please reply as this sucks me alot.

Next time, post your Question in the Q&A of your SGS2 Q&A thread. Always read specifications of the rom before flashing, usually lets you know the bugs.
OP this is really not necessary, how about thanking the Dev that put the time and effort into that root method and why not provide some usefulness other than what you have....
Or how about this...learn and take up ROM making/cooking and do it your self, then you can share your work. And like mentioned above, more detail in reading the OP and provide better questions in your device forums.
Or even better, you might want to stay STOCK, nothing wrong with staying Stock, some individuals are just best that way.
Thank You and Thread Closed
I have an at&t sgh-i747 that suddenly was charging very slowly, like 8 hours for a full charge. That is when I could get it to charge at all. sometimes it wouldn't charge it all. most of the time it wouldn't not even show that it was charging. I was running a custom ROM based on stock. by stratatak7 Intergalactic.. I was unable to find anyone else with this problem using that same rom. (or at all for that matter.)
Anyway I recently put CM 10.1.2 on it and BOOM problem resolved... This doesn't seem to me like your typical software/ROM issue. I thought sure my charging port was shorting out. But now, the only explanation I can come up with is the ROM being the culprit..
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

first swich back to stock and see problem occurs.
if yes then go to care centre or swich battery.
Yeah, I did just that. I switched it back to stock and charged perfectly. Didn't short out at all. So what I learned is that a bug in a rom can cause seemingly hardware related issues.
Sorry if I posted on the wing place, this started out as what I thought to be a hardware issue so I posted it on hardware. Turns out to be a software issue.

Interesting,
I was very tempted to try that rom, glad I didn't i guess!!
I ran CM10.2 for a while
I am now on Hyperdrive (check it out) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2176752
I like Hyperdrive for a ton of the Galaxy features you loose with CM but you can do similar apps and features you get with CM. It is a good mix; also the battery life is good so far at 34% been off a charger for 9h 22m 59s (screen is most of the drain)
Thanks for the info about the other rom
Thanks, I'll check it out. I love the tweakability of cm but wish it had more features out of the box. Might be what I've been looking for...

If you are using 2.3.5 version of jaggy's it's not a bad idea to try 'wipe battery stats' option in recovery, there was also ' battery calibration' app in play store. If you are on higher version of the rom possibility of success is little, but anyway it's worth a try

at present i am using jaggy rom v5. yes i have cleared my battery stats. i can switch back to other rom if needed, please recommend me a rom that my phone should get back
someone please solve my problem
The only thing that I can recommend is to choose some cyanogen based rom(which are almost all from original development), and make sure that you are making a squicky clean install, meaning you wipe everything, even make it twice then flash it.
I have no more ideas.
