Calendar sync issue - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

Earlier today I flashed the dark horse calendar. The app loaded properly but I lost all the data. All my birthdays and events are missing. I returned to a nano from a couple of days ago and same thing. So I also figured most of that stuff was synced from my Facebook so I uninstalled and reinstalled it and still no data. So any ideas on how to get everything to sync again? And I also tried syncing from within the calendar app and my Google account. Then I tried installing Google calendar and that didn't fix it either. Thanks

My facebook contacts haven't synced since they updated the fb app like a week ago, and I haven't even updated the app. People who updated had problems with it killing the battery, but apparently they patched that, so I'm going to make a titanium backup of the current version and try to upgrade. Let's hope my contacts will sync again...
yeah just download the new version of facebook. It sync'd my facebook contacts 9 times in one hour. I deleted twice and am not putting it back on til they fix version 1.3.1

Gmail sync problems, shows email when I have none

It seems slot of us are getting this issue.
I'm getting a .com.google.process.apps fc when trying to download from market or sync gmail. Just started after two days of applying theme.
Ive tried going to settings.manage apps and clearing data for gmail, gmail storage and market. Still have issue.
Problem started by gmail showing I had an email when I didn't so I cleared all the data in settings.
Any help would be much appreciated!

ICS (4.0.3) Calendar not showing appointments

I have 4.0.3 installed on my Nexus S (GT-9020), and have been loving it - best OS I have used on any phone. So sleek and well designed, it's a real shame most users will never see it's full glory once Samsung, HTC et al will put their own skin over it.
Anyway, yesterday (29th Feb) all my calendar appointments disappeared from my phone and now it is only showing new ones added since yesterday.
None of my settings have changed, I still have my work exchange account and my gmail account syncing and the mail from both are fine. All the calendars are still selected to be shown. When I go online I can still see my appointments in Google Calendar so I know they haven't been deleted and in Outlook my exchange appointments are also still there.
I don't know what has happened. At first I thought it was just the widget but the full app doesn't show them either.
Has anyone seen this? Does anyone know how to sort it?
Cheers.

Try turning sync off for calendar , restart, then turn it back on?
Have you tried clearing data from the calendar app? Go into Settings | Apps | All | look for calendar and clear data.
Are you using a custom ROM? Is this for all appointments (google and exchange)?
I had this problem once for the exchange appointments. I resolved it by removing the exchange account, and adding it back again with all settings left at default.
Maybe a problem with the leap year? But then others should also having problems.
I would also remove the calendar, reboot, delete data and re-add the calendar.
Thanks Oogway13.
I tried turning off and on sync with no joy, but deleting the app data under the app "Calendar Storage" did the trick. Everything went (as expected) then opened the calendar app (can't remember if I selected refresh or not) and all my appointments slowly came back. Weird.
I didn't need to reboot or remove-add the calendar app (which I think you can only disable, not remove, on ICS anyway) so that's good.
Just running stock Nexus S ICS ROM (downloaded from this forum) and use stock calendar app for both google calendar and exchange calendar. All had gone missing though!
Glad it's back.
Excellent!! good to know it's working now

Calendar

A search has not fully answered my question. After having to factory reset today, I noticed my calendar (I input from the phone itself) did not sync with google calendar and back things up. I lost prior three weeks and next two weeks of appts. After looking through settings of the calendar app and the phone itself and messing with it, it still doesn't sync. Is there something missing? I noticed some others in the search had similar problems, but couldn't tell if they were the same as mine or not. Thanks!
stupid question but under your Gmail account you have calendar set to sync right? What happens when you tap the sync icon, does it sync or error out?

Yes the calendar is set to sync, when I sync it says it does. But again, if I check google calendar elsewhere, it hasn't changed.
Make sure you have your google calendar selected when adding events. The phone has its own calendar as well as all your google candidates that you have permission to write with. Perhaps you were writing to the phone's calendar instead of your google one?

Thanks, yeah I unchecked every car account excpet my google calendar and it still doesn't sync. Will see if replacement devcie does the same.

Problems with calendar.

Ok so I uninstalled Google calendar app, (it was just installed from Play-store) and I got a com.google.calendar issue I didn't read it in time.
Now my all of my events are not syncing with my calendar on my phone. I tried re-installing latest google apps, no avail. I reinstalled google calendar from playstore no cigar. If I post a new event on google calander it will show up but none of the previous events I posted. I'm talking 100 or so events, appointments, tasks etc.
It is syncing fine on my tablet so not a google issue, account is set to sync calender, google calendar is selected to show in the app.
I'm lost any help would be appreciated.
Edit: Seems as though when I edit an event it then shows up on my phone. Weird.
did you try clearing your app data/cache?
Go into settings>apps>all and find Google Services Framework. Clear data and reboot. Your calendar should clear itself up in a few minutes.
