It's a good thing for battery life..

sorry for the inconvenience, and sorry for my English (translated with Google), Well the fact is if anyone knows of any port of ics for Optimus HUB, or that someone is cooking a ROM! If someone could tell me I'd appreciate it!

i hope someone will make a cm9 for optimus hub...its a great low end phone, great hw...it will run smooth
i hope some dev will make it
check madteam forum
Why?
yea.... looks like no one cares about this phone, I think this device is way better then a lot of other devices that already has ics beta or alpha roms.... my question is why not optimus Hub? it is so hard to make a rom for it? I don't think so.... anyway, at least is a nightly cm7 rom for it, but with problems.
A, allmost forgot, I see that optimus one has ics rom and I think it's hardware is verry similar to optimus hub, why no developer tryes to build a rom for it?....
P.S. Sorry for my bad English...
I've got news.
A few days ago I've asked motafoca from MadTeam to port ics to our Optimis Hub and he accepted.
If you can help please do so. Here is the post:madteam.co/forum/development-49/(requests)-rom-porting/60/
i have first "nightly" for cm9 but it doesnt boot
I also have an Optimus hub, which makes me amazed with his performance ..., and I also hope there is a dev who developed the Optimus hub
I am currently using a rom CM7
sorry my bad english
I also tried it, and would not start! hopefully a version that can boot!

Can anyone help how to fix this. No app or such things gonna work b'coz its about audio driver files in rom. the rom was an unstable mod of Cyanogen MOD 9.
Found it somewhere on the internet. 4shared(dot)com i guess.
I know that I could try myself, but I was wondering if someone already tried both the roms that I wrote in the subject and wish to report about any significant difference.
jelly belly works pretty well, but it happened me that the phone froze a couple of times. It may be an app, but I did not install any new one recently.
Thank you,
Lionhe

Jellybelly is JRO03H and Chocolate is JRO03L.
JRO03L is latest version of 4.1.1 aosp source.
And Jellybelly doesn't supported anymore + it has kernel restriction.

When flashing the mpokang 1080p kernel, can you only flash it after youve fully wiped and installed a rom or can i flash it anytime? Using vzw galaxy nexus running a 4.2.2 rom.
Please forgive the noob and possibly repeated question but I could not find the answer.
You can install it anytime, but remember to wipe cache and dalvik after flash the kernel.

I came here today thinking there might be a couple of custom roms.
What a shame there is nothing. Although I got Android Pie recently, and it's pretty good, I really would prefer to have Android 10 running by now, and HTC aint going to do it!
Any chance of anything being ported over from the U11??

Have you tried GSI firmware? Already quite a lot of options are on Android 10.
Did HTC state which phones will get 10? And which GSI images work fine for our U11 +? Is squeeze supported? Thanks!!

I've only just read up about Treble and GSI - This article says HTCU11+ is supported as it launched with Android 8.0. Sounds very interesting. https://www.androidpolice.com/2017/11/26/phones-updated-support-project-treble-continuously-updated/
I'm guessing it would support squeeze as Pixels have it too. Not sure if I'm brave enough to take the plunge yet....
So, still no-one brave enough to try project Treble?
My understanding is that the Vendor part of the firmware is retained, so custom roms with squeeze and other HTC changes should be possible...
Edit - just found the other thread! https://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-u11/how-to/resurrection-remix-gsi-test-t3795115/page3
