Port ICS forma LG HUB

sorry for the inconvenience, and sorry for my English (translated with Google), Well the fact is if anyone knows of any port of ics for Optimus HUB, or that someone is cooking a ROM! If someone could tell me I'd appreciate it!
Enviado desde mi LG-E510 usando Tapatalk
someone I can report something! :/ Thank you very much!
Enviado desde mi LG-E510 usando Tapatalk
i hope someone will make a cm9 for optimus hub...its a great low end phone, great hw...it will run smooth
i hope some dev will make it
check madteam forum
Why?
yea.... looks like no one cares about this phone, I think this device is way better then a lot of other devices that already has ics beta or alpha roms.... my question is why not optimus Hub? it is so hard to make a rom for it? I don't think so.... anyway, at least is a nightly cm7 rom for it, but with problems.
A, allmost forgot, I see that optimus one has ics rom and I think it's hardware is verry similar to optimus hub, why no developer tryes to build a rom for it?....
P.S. Sorry for my bad English...
I've got news.
A few days ago I've asked motafoca from MadTeam to port ics to our Optimis Hub and he accepted.
If you can help please do so. Here is the post:madteam.co/forum/development-49/(requests)-rom-porting/60/
i have first "nightly" for cm9 but it doesnt boot
I also have an Optimus hub, which makes me amazed with his performance ..., and I also hope there is a dev who developed the Optimus hub
I am currently using a rom CM7
sorry my bad english
I also tried it, and would not start! hopefully a version that can boot!

Can anyone help how to fix this. No app or such things gonna work b'coz its about audio driver files in rom. the rom was an unstable mod of Cyanogen MOD 9.
Found it somewhere on the internet. 4shared(dot)com i guess.

[i9505] What would be the perfect ROM for you

We have TW ROMS and Google edition ROMS.
For me, the perfect ROM would be a GE base integrating some cool features from the Stock samsung ROM like Air Gesture, Smart stay/scroll, Air view.
What would be the perfect ROM for you? a samsung stock or GE? Which feature from each one would you pick?
A more stable aosp rom. I'm biding my time with TW.
Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
tw stock rom with stock kernel without any bloatware/samsung apps.
so i still got tw features/gestures but also alot of free ram and a very good performance.
for me there is no need for anything else.
plus i don't have to wait for any custom rom which is buggy or drains battery like hell.
on my s2 aokp was the best for me... but cm kernel on s4 just drains battery way too fast.
Google edition rom with:
- samsung camera
- notification toggles
- when you get a text message you can call the person by putting your phone to your ear

pure
Pure Google edition with Samsung camera...
A CM 10.1 based ROM with Smart and Air gestures from Samsung.
A good ROM should be the google edition rom 4.3 with the Samsung apps, but not the TW. Only with Samsung camera App, air gestures and Smart stay.
TW stock rom

Why would you prefer stock over GE. although it's known to be snappier than Samsung stock Roms.

half the ROMs here are built by chefs that don't actually own the device. Sure that doesn't necessarily mean that the ROM will be of a lower quality, but it can't be as good as a ROM for a phone that they actually own and use. Also motivation and innovation would suffer a bit here I think - just look at Wanam; he won't innovate on his Adam kernel for the i9505, and has low motivation on his Wanamlite ROM for the i9505, and who can blame him? developing for a device you don't own would be a long drawn out process.
I'm not looking for something basically impossible like "samsung HW features on a AOKP ROM", let's be realistic.
What I want is a ROM by a chef that owns the device and uses it daily, who isn't afraid to mod files and frameworks to get things working, is TW (why buy a phone where you can't use any of the features that set it apart), but with a nice Aroma installer that guides you through a process where you can make it as heavy or light as you want, has low battery drain when "lightened" (ie if you leave it bloated and have high battery drain, what do you expect?). I also want certain features "fixed" by default. If i wanted a pure stock looking and functioning ROM, i would flash a stock ROM. This would include:
I think a subtle battery % mod is required, possibly a theme, but it must be SUBTLE, i don't want glass reflections or garish colours.
I want multi-CSC,
TW launcher should be unlocked (not that I use it, but ROMs that lock the dock are stupid)
Join unlimited contacts
5 way reboot menu
standard SMS/MMS changes (unlimited contacts, no MMS convert)
multi-window manager.. etc.. most ROMs have this stuff I think
Also I don't want a chef that brings out a new version for EVERY firmware that is leaked. Some firmwares bring nothing, or worse performance/features/battery. I want a chef that tests out new firmwares and makes an educated guess based on their experience and what others say on whether they release a new version.
OK that's all, it's a lot to ask I know and probably require someone on it full time, but if you're interested the closest I have gotten to a chef like this is Ripper ROM for the i9305.

Been running the stock 4.3 Android beta and I haven't had a singe crash yet (deleted a lot of battery-eating crap). 4.2.2 was also stable as a rock.
Do you know guys any Roms that is aosp based and includes some s4 specific features like air gestures and air view?

I don't want the GE rom as it's too plain feature wise.

If you flash a GE rom on your s4, your phone is rooted...
Meaning you can also add mods, aka adding more features

Still, nothing beats an AOSP rom. Like CM.
Btw, you don't need root to flash mods. Just a custom recovery.
The perfect rom should be battery-friendly.

Then again, the battery drain is personal.
Perfect ROM would be a AOSP ROM with all the awesome touchwiz features

Rom with privacy guard

Hi everybody, i follow xda from a while but this is my first post, i'm looking for a cyano alternative with a privacy guard or similar. Exist? Thanks and sorry for my english
Inviato dal mio Nexus 5 utilizzando Tapatalk
Beanstalk's got it.
Purity Rom too
Rastakat - lichti1901's builds, it's got privacy guard and app ops built in
SlimKat also.
Slimkat has it due that they developed the privacy guard manager
But generally speaking nearly every custom rom has it now a days.

how to install it
My ROM doesn't have it. I'm using Cataclysm 5.01
How could I install it. The ROM already have App oops installed.

Does anyone else notice Battery Saver missing in 10/17? I liked that it was baked in but now can't find it.

Are you sure? Mine it's working properly. Dirty flash BTW
Inviato dal mio Nexus 5 utilizzando Tapatalk
I'm sure. I did a completely clean install including wiping my sd card because of a mix up earlier in the day. This is a screenshot of the battery screen where it usually is. Did it get moved? I tried disabling xposed because I thought it may be a module but that didn't fix it.
@styr
Seems that latest nightlies are still with .103 kernel
I'm checking here: https://github.com/jimsth/vanir_hammerhead/commits/jim_kk_mr2_exp?
I just did a clean flash, only to find that the pictures taken with the camera on my previous ROM are gone. Any ideas?

U11+ Custom Roms?

I came here today thinking there might be a couple of custom roms.
What a shame there is nothing. Although I got Android Pie recently, and it's pretty good, I really would prefer to have Android 10 running by now, and HTC aint going to do it!
Any chance of anything being ported over from the U11??

Have you tried GSI firmware? Already quite a lot of options are on Android 10.
Did HTC state which phones will get 10? And which GSI images work fine for our U11 +? Is squeeze supported? Thanks!!

I've only just read up about Treble and GSI - This article says HTCU11+ is supported as it launched with Android 8.0. Sounds very interesting. https://www.androidpolice.com/2017/11/26/phones-updated-support-project-treble-continuously-updated/
I'm guessing it would support squeeze as Pixels have it too. Not sure if I'm brave enough to take the plunge yet....
So, still no-one brave enough to try project Treble?
My understanding is that the Vendor part of the firmware is retained, so custom roms with squeeze and other HTC changes should be possible...
Edit - just found the other thread! https://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-u11/how-to/resurrection-remix-gsi-test-t3795115/page3
