Kickstarter backed microSD card reader! - Galaxy S 4 Accessories

Just received my kickstarter backed project, microSD Card reader. Project cost me about $12
Www.meenova.com
This adapter allows you to plug an sdcard into your phone microSD port and transfer/read files.
I have to say this thing came out really nice, the blue light was a nice touch. So far its worked on everything I've plugged it into (galaxy nexus, nexus 7, Gs4, RAZR M)
Package contained:
MicroSD to microUSB reader
MicroUSB to USB adapter for PC
Keychain clip
Here are some pictures for you guys

Yeah they had a problem with quality of the first few samples, and then some machine broke at the mold factory so not entirely their fault for the delay.

Got mine yesterday! It looks pretty damn awesome though I haven't tried it yet... I was planning on using it exclusively for my Nexus 10 but since it has a keyring I can carry it around with me so that's pretty cool. :good::laugh:

Just grab an otg cable and a flashdrive?

Very cool idea..but shouldnt the key ring be on the cap side? I mean, you want your keys dangling from that plug into your phone? Or do you want to take this off your ring when you need it?

This OTG microSD card reader is small in size and looks nice but OTG cable is quite long and big

I didn't take a photo of the clip that attaches to your keyring, its a quick disconnect clip so you don't actually dangle your keys from your phone .

As long as you have otg support, which I think you need to be rooted for on the nexus 4, but don't quote me.
Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk 4

Nice one, cheers for posting this, ordered one mainly to use with nexus 7 but this could be great at transfering stuff quickly to my S4 and the advantage of being small and unobtrusive like an otg cable and flash drive.
This could really change my mind about getting the upcoming nexus 5.Although i think they're great phones I thought i'd never get one because of the poor storage and no sd slot but as the extra space i need would be for music files i would only need to plug it in when listening. rest of the time it would be on my keys.
My only concern is how secure and safe from knocks the sd card is when inside the reader and inside my pocket. I'm pretty forceful when dry humping bins and bollards when waitnig for buses. Can anyone comment on this? (The sd card safety not my dry humping?)

Need help finding new graphics card for pc

I need a PCI express 1.0x16 that isn't sold in retail computer stores and I can't find one online for about $30-$40 the model of the PC is HP slim line s3707c and the card is very small

All PCIe 1x cards. You don't have to replace with the same exact model, chances are you'll be over paying if you do that anyways.
The original is built into the motherboard and it blew but there is an adapter to put one in so I was told if I do that it will fix my no monitor input issue
Sent from my Nexus S 4G using Tapatalk 2
Oh okay I thought you were replacing a card. I would be careful about buying parts in a situation like this, if you are not sure about the issue there may be other problems and you might be wasting money. Is there anyone around that could help you out and maybe just stick their video card in and try it out to be sure?
No but I tried other monitors and its not the monitor, I tried buying a PCI express 2.0x16 and it was too big so I think I found the one I need here's a link its gotta be small and be x16 like this: http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem?itemId=230781213978&index=13&nav=SEARCH&nid=46833495604

Yeah you should be able to find one for cheap. It should do the job since you definitely weren't doing anything too GPU intensive.

Well I received the card in the mail yesterday, this chip is perfect but with the extra HDMI cable input I had to cut the case on the PC to fit, turned the PC on and the fan on the graphics card started spinning but still no monitor input came on the screen so now I'm wondering if the hard drive crashed, I need a new motherboard, or just save up for a new PC?

You should still see something before the os even tries to boot so the hard drive wouldn't do it.
Sent from my SCH-I500 using XDA
I don't know about the 1x cards, less pins means less data transferral. I perfer some of the midrange to higher end cards because you get far better performance from them.
I would be very careful about how you try and solve this problem since there are a plethora of problems that could be the cause of your symptoms. Since your "blown" GPU was integrated on your motherboard, that means there's probably a failure somewhere else within your motherboard. It could cause problems (given time to develop) to arise elsewhere within your system. I know it's a big step, but if you can afford it I would look at building a cheap new PC. I recently rebuilt my gaming rig for around 250 bucks, but I didnt' ahve to replace ALL of my hardware, only the core parts. You can fairly cheaply assemble a basic system.
Hope some of this info helps.
Thank you guys I think what I may end up doing is buying a new tower and transfer the old 500gb hard drive to the new one because it had hundreds of gigs worth of music, will still use the same monitor and will probably get a Tera byte external hard drive

If you're comfortable doing a case swap, look for a mid-tower or full tower case. The Coolermaster HAF cases are really nice, but cost a good 160 bucks or so. There are others that are much cheaper which should be big enough for a bigger card.

The One S is one of the best built phones around. No need to F it up with some ugly otter box taking away its sexiness and slim size. Unless you are working outside in construction or hiking there is no need for those ugly boxes.
Btw Cruzerlite makes a sweet case. Keeps the slim shape and size of the phone. Plus they have many color and graphic options featuring Andy the Android.

Edit your OP, go advanced, change title, boom
It would be really cool, if NFC works :victory:
Please change the title to something that will attract more attention.
There are few possible cases.
1) One S really has a NFC chip which we could use if someone ports the drivers and applications
2) He uses one of these special micro sd cards which adds NFC ability
3) He faked the video, maybe with a script which opens the browser after a few seconds
Edit: he just posted a video which shows that the One S supports Samsungs Tectiles technique, which needs NFC https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0WKQSB4imtk&feature=plcp oO
Got my new phone I love it. Need to do root and order a otterbox. Lol
I hope some devs see the thread now I changed the title.

When I get time I'm gonna take a picture of my phone with it in there. It fits just fine with my ezo 4200mah nfc extended battery. So if you have the extended battery case it fits really good, you would have no idea the SD converter is under back cover!

That's pretty awesome. Now you have a ridiculous amount of both battery and storage.
I wish 256gig sdcards didn't cost as much as a new phone off contract.
I was getting ready to buy a new device, but already have a couple carrier contracts. Definitely don't need another monthly payment.
Now i'm stuck trying to justify the purchase of a new device against being able to have a quarter terabyte of local storage in one of my current ones...

Official Samsung Dock with Nexus 4 Quick Review

Just wanted to make a quick review since i didn't find one in the whole forum and on google, about the official samsung dock, paired with our beloved Nexus 4, in the past few days i took the time to inspect the Nexus 4 size VS the official dock size and came to the conclusion that it would fit, so i bought it, a few days later BOOM new dock and when i tried my theory... well it worked like a charm =) it fits perfectly and look great Just take a look it fits perfectly, charging is as fast as directly connected, i will keep updating this thread with more details, right not i don't have a 3.5 mm AUX cable to test it, but it's a complete "GO" to the people thinking of getting one, thanks for reading folks.
What Samsung model is that dock made for?
Looks like the universal Samsung dock.

But anyways. I own this dock as my girlfriend uses it with her S2.
-Aux port does not do anything with the Nexus 4.
-Daydreams do not turn on either (unless set to activate while charging as well)
This dock is just a fancy wall charger for the N4.

Just wanted to post some pictures of my install in my explorer. Since proclip doesn't make a holder specifically for our tablet, this is what I came up with.Used the custom vent mount from proclip along with their universal tablet adapter. From there I just purchased a clip style hard case and attached to the adapter. It swivels and everything. works great.

Thanks, I never heard of them before but sounds like a good product. I ordered one for my tablet and one for my camera. I was going to order from Amazon, but the reviews said that the version sold there is counterfeit, so I ordered directly from Breffo and found its actually cheaper there because of a 20% off discount code: PROMO20. I also saw a discount code for colors that didnt work on my order but might work for others: COLOR30.

They seem sticky about it but I can't argue much, since they often have promo codes. I've got two small ones and two iPad ones. Smaller ones are great for use on a desk or something but I like the iPad size for the car. So I know it will hold up better if im in an accident.
