Hey guys, same of title, im currently on cm10 by losconosciuto with 3.0.x Kernel. Yesterday i've tried to make a videocall with a my friend but without succes. Installing Tango, It hang and crash, Skype hang and crash, Wechat the preview doesnt show and i cant see me on videocall.
Can somebody explain me some app that work on this phone? Is this a camera hal problem or what? Thanks advance

I made most of the changes to the HAL with the 2.6.35 kernel in mind and then adapted them for the 3.0 kernel. When I did that, I made some mistakes and apparently I didn't fix all of them. I set the wrong framesize for the NV21 preview format. GTalk is working, but just because it doesn't use NV21 as preview format.
I'll will fix this when I have some time. When you find a bug, just report it.

Hey, is notification bug fixed in this CM7.1 fixed? We tried everything... It didn't work in CM7 (5.10.2011) and we tried modifying build.prop. When you finish more important features, could you focus on this bug? Thank you for your efford. Congratulations for your work

Is there any way to get samsung keyboard working on CM7 ? I tried by replacing LatinITE.apk or something by it, did not work.
PS: I already searched and found nothing, asked in Q & A thread no one answered...

not perfect too, some crashes in my CM7,
in most of cases, happened in picking up calls but no communication(voice) at all, cannot end call, have to restart the unit

you should install this fix with three lib files, then all things will be OK, if you just use just one lib file, there are problems
will try rest of file later, unit cannot boot atm during cm9 test

We also need the dialer where we get the option to record the calls. In the default call recorder app we cant launch it during an active call.
On CM7 just libaudio.so is needed . I don't know for CM9, i will try this weekend when new built of CM9 com .

The old lib worked for me with cm7 for a long time. Since mid of november it doesnt work anymore. Will try the new fix.

I use the above files on cm7 rc1.5 with call recorder widget, some1 post apk of the recorder here, it wrks fine. no issues till now.

I installed the patch from the first post on my Defy (running CM7.1 Stable).
After Installation, I hear the 10 sec beep everytime during a phone call, even after removing the call recording app!
Any solution to stop the beeps??

I have problem with sound when i watch video on Youtube and other sites,ther is some claping or crackling noise, and the problem is only with video files, music is ok, after i instaled CyanogenMod 7.2.0-RC3, before that i had CM7 Alpha7 and it was normal.
Can sombody help me or know how to solve this problem?

Other users have also reported similar issues. I would try tweaking the settings in DSP Manager to see if that helps but the video drivers in CM7 are not fully made and i think that may be causing the problem. If you regularly watch videos on your phone the only solution would be to revert back to a froyo ROM.
I would wait for CM7 to be complete first
Try this:
- Copy alpha7.update.zip/system/lib (whole folder)
- Paste it in alpha8.update.zip/system/
- Install the update.zip and choose 'fix permissions'

its the problem with kernel, try flashing g3mod 2.5 or moik's fugumod kernel..its fixed in those kernels..

Unfortunately, it only works in the stock camera and only record on 720p. Tested in RR 6.0.0

Thanks.. I know the dev who made this file.. Also tested the same while this created in multiple oreo ROMs.. it's same like we're already using Footage as a workaround.. But still we cannot send Videos on whatsapp & maybe on some other social media apps.. We need a hardware level fix.. not a Software level which we already got a long ago...
