[Q] Bricked

I used odin to flash stock with root and it failed. I tried a different packaged and it failed to now my phone wont turn on at all.

What u did and how u did and what rom u were in when u tried to flash stock ?

I tried to flash SGH-I997_UCLB3_CWM_root_deodex_busybox with odin. Then i tried to flash gtg ultimate unbrick. Then i took phone back and now i have sony ex play so ty for trying to help.

I mean that really wasnt trying to sound like a smartass

i did the same thing and got stuck on boot loop, loads only to the samsung screen and i cant get into cwm with the 2 vol and power keys, can someone please help me, i really don't want to take the phone back. i wanted this rom rooted and to have my video back.

[Q] Motorola Milestone XT720 bootloop/bricked PLEASE HELP

Hello XDA community, i have solved all my previous phone problems via this site so I'm hoping this will get solved too.
Ok here goes, Yesterday i flashed Brains Bravo 1.9 ROM (for the second time(i figured its the most stable and whatnot)). After doing that it started up and asked me if i wanted to turn on 3G mobile data to this i replied no and i closed it. After that i turned off the phone (because i was getting all kinds of errors i have gotten before and solved by wiping everything.) As i was turning the phone on i noticed it was at the 1st Moto logo was on for a few seconds and then the screen turned off ,and back on. This time in a bootloop. i have tried using a different battery, pulling out the SIM and SD card but same thing happens i can't get it into recovery mode but i can get it into bootloader. So i figured its time to flash the stock SBF file and re do this whole process. While in RSD Lite i noticed that the screen kept flickering for a second or two and then it was fine. While it was nearing the end of the process (while it was rebooting) it suddenly said "please turn on phone manually" but the phone was stuck in a boot loop while it said this but the progress bar said 100% complete.
So xda community PLEASE HELP ME! :crying: , I really like this phone and i dot want to get a new one
PS: this is my first post so sorry if it isnt perfect.
PPS: last time i flashed bravo i applied the notification update but this time i forgot (just in case this info helps)

i have a factory unlocked european motorola milestone xt720 from england

added problem
i forgot to mention just now i cannot charge i am using a battery from a dofferent phone just to turn it on and in bootloader

Does your phone go only to bootloader.

it goes into bootloader if i put in into it otherwise its only bootloop

Install USB drivers
Connect device to pc using usb chord.
Boot into bootloader
Let pc install all drivers
etc etc.
IN ERASE TICK BOOT,SYSTEM,USERDATA
Now try to flash a firmware.

Hold on wait to get some links for you what p.c are you using windows ?
You need to have motorola drivers installed.

doesnt work
i tried flashing that file but rsd cant find it and i still have to try the adt option ill report back in a few hours so ill let you know

you have to have motorola usb drivers installed flash with rsd lite.
Use must rsd lite when flashing sbf unless you mack.
Any other tools may brick your phone.

Go to motorola and make sure you have right usb drivers instilled.

Begining of the "Epic Fail" story...left my SHW-M190S at my friends hands to flash it...this idiot (sorry John...) flashed my M190S with I9000 firmware...and now my phone wont flash via ODIN...ive tried 3 different firmware packets on my own after this happend. Didnt work at all.on some of them stuck on modem.bin failure.tried other ODIN version,different USB cables and etc...post story...guys,im a medical student and really need my phone back to life asap....please if anyone can help that will be super awesome...that person will be true samsung god

If you go to device manger and is q dload then your screwed ,if so get it jtaged and fixed or send in to Samsung for repair

mobile odin is not yet supported for 9500, but you can simply flash either modem or any other files via flashify on both 9500/9505

Hello yes mobile odin pro will work but it is easier to flash through recovery on the i9500 follow link to modems currently i9500 is the only version that can flash modems in recovery

I wasn't sure if aptoide was a pirate app store or not. one thing I've read says it's used by developers, other things say get paid apps for free.. if it's the later, this wasn't the best place to put that link.

Do note that if your phone has the nasty habit of sometimes not booting up when charger is plugged in, it will fail and you'll have to flash a new stock firmware with odin.
This happened to me yesterday.. Very nasty.. Recovery wouldn't boot neither except for download mode.

There was no need to re flash using odin just go into recovery and full wipe and reflash custom rom new modem will still be installed

That's the problem. It broke my recovery. It couldn't boot anything up except for download mode.

while I'm here, was wondering if everroot works with all the things Samsung has done to make rooting more problematic.. it's gonna be a while before I flash a stock fw to find out for myself and I don't have a laptop to use on a regular basis..

mi infuse don´t flash in donwload mode

my sansung infuse this by yourselves where I can not install versions of stock and need to reset lost and lost everything and even root or leaves samsung logo when you turn it all happened last night when trying to delete a rom to install another THROUGH enter advanced options and delete a thread or something that was not to be and I got out of the recovery now I can not access or install the versines the stock and need urgent help as the phone does not utiliz me if nothing urgent need persna and excuse the discomfort and urgency but desepero that no longer do I have so I would greatly appreciate the help:crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:

Try flashing with heimdall. my infuse wont flash with Odin ever. Heimdall always works for me.

you have to run odin as administrator to get your flash done. right click on odin executable file, choose run as administrator and youre done.
then choose the files you wanna flash and and click start

ehhhhh lol why you guys quote me if you know how to read I'm not having any problems with my phone I'm not a noob here i don't write this topic i only make a suggestion here so don't quote me or suggest me how to fix my device because in case i do something wrong and i brick my phone i know how to fix it.
