I am a new member, but long time reader, i have never had a reason to post a new topic due to the fact that i always find my answer with in about 5 minutes of searching! I just wanted to extend a big thank you to every user on this site. I recently defected to Android after many years on iOS just to try it out. I was clueless about Android going in to this but in the past four months I have learned an absolute ton about these phones and their OS. I can say that after just a few months I'm already a resource for help from my friends who've had Android a lot longer than I have. Really I just want to say thank you to all the members here who provide such great help and have such a vast knowledge of these things. I love rooting, roms, kernels, and Android and I don't plan on going back to iOS, and that's all thanks to you guys! Thanks again!

Thank You To All Who Make XDA What It Is

I'm one of those people who browse threads, read, and do my best to learn without asking questions. i have never really had a big reason to post replies to anything. everything i ever need or want for info is always here somewheres on this site.
This is my thank you to all of you developers and senior posters that make XDA great and keeps XDA just a little bit above the rest.
I am genuinely appreciative of everything you all contribute to the android world.
Please keep up the good work.

i agree. if it wasn't for the people here at xdev and other sites like it, the gtab would have died an ugly death long ago. i have gained so much knowledge just from reading all the questions and posts. i've donated a couple of times and encourage others to do the same if you can. if not, thumbs up and thanks at least lets them know their efforts are appreciated.

Just for Information..
I have AT&T One X ..now ...
ROOTED ! S-ON! TWRP and Stock JB ROM 4.1.1
And I love my phone now..
I always thought rooting was the work bad guys do...
In 15 Min .. I got my phone rooted and got Rooted Apps installed.... Although it took 15 days to read and understand the terminologies what you guys use.. :silly:
Finally, A big big big thanks to all Moderators to keep the forum CLEAN and useful..
Any Noob can be a GEEK (or Atleast 50% Geek) after reading and going through this forums..

I've always appreciated the great efforts of all XDA devs, and every advice and development stuff they were giving us...
I recently bought an HTC One XL (international) and am pretty happy with it... I love its EVERYTHING in fact
... and I'm sure I can benefit soooooooooooooo much from these forums as well...

This is just to say Thank you @iB4STiD the great developer, who always amazed me by his dedication to make great ROMS always updated and always being so helpful.
It is a SAD day , we lose such developer because of some conflicts with someone (won't discuss that here), I Hope that with some time off you will get over this, take good care and please come back some time soon with your great ROM for S4 users.
We will miss you and hope to see you around.

Hope he comes back.. Was a big fan of his roms. I would like to think that there are many more good folks than morons in XDA. I hope that he can ignore the 1% jerks. 99% of folks are polite, good and supportive.

I too hope he is able to come back at some point. I've been very happy with his roms and it will suck to have to switch to someone else when I'm ready for an update.
