Hi. My gmail on s4 keeps trying to send an email at 00:45am each day to an address I emailed the other day. And I get a notification to say it failed to send attachment. But the person is receiving a blank email from me. I have tried deleting my sent items and there is nothing in outbox! What is this??

Try re login and reset your pwd, you`re probably been hacked.

email app never seems to send messages !
i got the OTA update ... i am not rooted. tried to factory reset a couple of times before ...
all works great other than this ...
Any ideas ? I know i can download the hotmail app ... i was just hoping i could get an answer for the android email app ...

Perhaps outgoing smtp address or port is incorrect? You can google the right setting for your email provider and make sure the email app has right settings.

I'm having similar issue:
Using HTC mail app for the work Exchange server.
When trying to send mails/reply while on cellular data connection mails will not send.
When retrying the same mails while on WiFi connection all sends smoothly...

Hey guys. I love GOSMS but I cannot seem to set an individual alert for a work SMS that comes from an email address. It works in handcent but I would prefer goSMS. I hit the button but nothing happens. I tried created a contact in my phone with the email address as the mobile number but it doesnt even show up in Go. Any1 got a way to make it work?
I also need the same thing please suggest some trick to do this.

what handset are you using ? andriod ? iphone ? windows?
I know it's a pain in the bum but i would always go for a full wipe of your handset and reinstall if your still having problems after that i would contact the manufacture
I think your sync setting is wrong.just go to setting and on sync for whats app..

I had the similar problem when you get msgs continuously from WhatsApp and you are replying to the old msg. If you reply to last msg it would work.

Once you receive a whatsapp message on the S3 and read it, it's gone. So you can't reply again unless you receive another message.
There is a very good app called notification wear which you can get from the play store.
When you receive a message, it stores it.Even when you delete a whatsapp message it still stores the person who sent the message so you can reply at anytime.
You can setup which message apps you want to receive like facebook, Viber, gmail and so on.
You get 20 free messages after that you need to pay for the premium app. it's only £1.70 and worth it.

I am just curious, how did he found? i am unable to see any whats app settings ( usting latest whatsaap) for any such notifications. so I am thinking may be he is using YoWhatsApp or WhatsApp plus etc
does whatsApp or any of alternatives notifies as such?

They might be getting email notifications of your activity similar to getting notifications of Facebook friends activity to let you know what they have posted.

I dont use whatsapp and I don't know if that's what it was, I'm just saying that it might be how they knew.
Well whatsapp is mobile based so i guess they dont do emails much.
