Hey, I show you how to get the Nexus future "Photosphere" on AOSP-Based ROMs
Attention!
I'm not responsible for any bricks, defects or anything else!
Rules:
If you want to write here something pls follow these Rules:
Write: which Android Version you are running, which Photosphere App do you use, which device do you use, which version of the Zip have you used?
Example: Cm11 (4.4.2), Camera 4.4.x, Nexus 4 (mako), v0.2.4.

Photosphere Camera 4.3/4.4
Required:
- Android 4.3/4.4 like ( Cyanogenmod / OmniRom / ParanoidAndroid )
- Recovery ( CWM / TWRP )
- Photosphere_Addon
1.) Download Photosphere_Addon and flash it in recovery.
2.) Choose: Android Version, Quality and press "Start"
3.) Boot and start the new Camera App to enjoy Photosphere on your Android 4.3/4.4 ROM
4.) If the App wont start from the Homescree, please try to start it from the Appdrawer (If it works repleace the AppIcon from the Homescreen with the working from the Appdrawer) this is normaly not happening, but could happens if you change from HD to FullHD Camera App!

1.) Backup everything you want to keep
2.) Delete /system/addon.d/(everything with "googlecamera")
3.) Boot into recovery
4.) Select "wipe date/factory reset"
5.) Go to "mounts and storage"
6.) Select "format /system"
7.) Flash your Rom
8.) Flash GAPPS
9.) Reboot
10.) Restore everything you want.
11.) Be back at Stock

It doesn't hurt to press the "Thanks" Button
If somebody could test this Zip-Files on some StockROMs this would be great! Since v0.2 this Zip is a "Stand-Alone" Zip. This means: everything what Photosphere needs to work is included, so this also have to work on Sense and Touchwiz ROMs

This is an older zip which does not remove Focal.
Your way is ok, but it has to be repeated each time you flash a new nightly.

Thanks for the steps! Worked great, but I find I rely too heavily on the ability to store the photos to the external SD card, and more than that, the use of the power button shutter. I'd like to get back to the "stock" CM app, but can't seem to come up with a zip or apk for it. I tried re-flashing 10.2, and surprisingly the Photosphere version was still there.
Any ideas?

Format /system first, and reflash CM. or go to addon.d folder and remove the photosphere backup script, and reflash CM.

As far as I know Photosphere wont be included for "Non-Nexus" Handys.
At my Samsung Galaxy S + (I9001) Photosphere wasnt included after I flashed Pa-GAPPS.
Please reply!

@psydex: Both versions are updated now to v0.2, since v0.2 you dont have to flash GAPPS bevor you flash Photosphere_Camera_Addon

@grgana: Normaly yes, but please use v0.2 (or higher if possible) this Version contains everything Photosphere needs to work (so this normaly runs on EVERY AOSP based ROM! OMNI, CM & PA are all AOSP based) pls try and report
@ rest: if something dont work pls write it her or sent me a privat message, so I can fix this errors
By the Way: no errors are reported so far.

Installation Instructions:
Clean install or coming from another ROM:
Download the zip
Addons (if you don't have it already) from here. Make sure you download addons for android 4.1.2 NOT 4.2!

Google Now will not work (It's still JB on P500... don't expect miracles). I'm using the Slim Gapps addon and everything works from there.

Check out the Google Code Page. Basically the same bugs you would expect in a JB rom on P500...

Downloading and testing...
- A biiiiiig camera bug (color banding)
- OI file manager forces close
- Sometimes after unlocking screen is devided in 2 similar parts(fixed after locking and unlocking again)
Indeed there is color banding on camera preview but it is not present in the photos.
OI File Manager works on my end...
normal camera has bugs and video recording doesn't work but iirc that's a cm10 bug, panorama and normal camera works fine using camera ICS+
the keyboard is a little laggy, other than that I haven't find any other bug, oi file manager works fine here, also, the brightness slide on status bar works fine here.

Popdog you are the man!!! I been looking forward to someone grabbing this and porting it to our devices!! So I will hunt down the ICS sources if possible, I think our device has hit its limits, unless you can pull some good old popdog magic. I don't see any official nightlies or betas/alphas CM10.2 for even Nexus 4...but we already have a build? Hah who needs official! And no gapps it seems, I'll see if I can get it from the stock dump somewhere..
Okay Nexus 4 has an unofficial CM10.2 too, here.
Also gapps for 4.3, this might work for now?
EDIT: Okay slimmed it down from some 170MB down to around 19MB as it now replaces the keyboard in the ROM with one where swipe works without crashing it. Once the ROM's keyboard is fixed my gapps can go back down to around 9MB here

Old CWM not support new update-binary.
Only CWM 6.x or TWRP works

By the way, I took a look at the size, it's 184MB for this nightly, quite big for our limited system partition. We started having problems with cm10.1 already having to resort to minimal gapps, to successfully install cm10.2 plus gapps (when gapps are officially released) will require a considerable butchering of the .zip.

@ccav2000, By default it's 192mb, i removed some video files in media. in next builds i'll try reduce size of build.

But I'll download this first to make sure we don't miss anything. Then I'll see if I can make a proper defy worthy minimal version...

Focal is included, I can see it among other apks in the /app/ folder Haven't tested it just yet, though, will flash soon!

flashed with twrp , rebooted in middle of flash ..
had to flash sbf again , agn flashed with twrp and again it rebooted in middle of a flash ...
now again flashing sbf
man i hate twrp recovery ...

When you enter TWRP, wait a while before you do anything :laugh: Go through the menus a bit and if it doesn't reboot in ~20secs it most likely won't reboot until you tell it to That's my strategy with TWRP, at least, and it serves me well that way
Can I install 4.3 without factory reset/data wipe over 4.2.2 (Quarx's CM10.1 July 9 build?)
Before anyone sneers at me for being a n00b, let me hasten to clarify that I did install 10.1 - when it first came out - over CM 10 without a factory reset and my Defy managed to work fine from then to now (in fact I had a lot fewer problems than most people who were reporting).
What is more, a few days ago when I decided to factory wipe and install one of the July builds afresh, I ran into so many problems that I had to restore a nandroid backup and go back to my non-factory-wiped state.
So, can I? Has anyone done it?

Why did I choose to make a 4.1.1 Touchwiz MIUI, and not a 4.2.2 Cyanogenmod MIUI?
The anwser is simple : the version, in MIUI doesn't matter, between both.
4.1.1 will be more stable, more efficient, better and with a great battery life, than a 4.2.2 which is on early beta state.
With Touchwiz based MIUI, you can install Samsung Apps.
It's based on official MIUI rom, so no FC, no bug and so on.
First boot could take more than 2mn.

- A lot of language

- LTE pre-enable
- CRT OFF (not buggy with lockscreen.)
- Emoji iOS 7
- Added MIUI v5 3.6.x wallpaper (so what?!)
- Some icons animations
- Window animations
- Way more V5 style icons
- Stock Kernel
- Removed: Gamecenter, SuperMarket, Samsung VideoPlayer, Updater, PowerOn Sound, Water Touch Sound
- Added : Play Store removable, WSM Tools removable. (framework of WSM framework not installed, launch the app and install if you want)
- No bug seen for the moment.
How to install
You have to installed a custom Recovery. I highly recommend PhilZ Touch. http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2120595
Copy the release you choosed in your external sd card. (exemple, STABLE_MIUI-i9305-4.6.20-mod.zip )
Launch recovery (Volume Up + Home + Lock )
Wipe Data/Factory.
Go to "Install zip"
"Choose zip from external sdcard"
Now navigate to the MIUI zip.
Push Yes.
When it's finish, come back to Menu.
Go to Advanced.
"Wipe Dalvik Cache"
When it's finish, you have a fully working MIUI!
How to enable LTE
- Open the WSM Tools app (include), and click Install.
- Reboot.
- Open WSM Tools, and look if Intelli3G is check.
- Open Intelli3G, and apply this configuration :
- LTE should be enable now.
For check, go to Settings, Mobile Network, Network Type Selection, and check if you have this screen :
If yes, LTE is enable.

Its great to have Lte activated. Should we need to flash the kernel again as I am using Yank's
kernel. How about the battery life and the tempreture as well. Rom

Whatever the kernel. Choose which you want ! But the rom is based on stock, with stock kernel. The battery life is just better than TouchWiz. The temperature is the same too. Enjoy!

1) You need to have Samsung 4.3 Bootloader or newer. MJ5 firmware Bootloader is recommended for those who wish to avoid knox counter. If you don't have, see here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2205009 (under SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR 3.6 AND ABOVE) or http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2500823. Please use latest KitKat Bootloader if you wish to be able to plug your phone while turn off.
2) Make sure you have the latest TWRP/CWM recovery installed. TWRP recovery is recommended.(Linked: TWRP thread
3) Next, remember to backup your app and your efs folder. That's something that you always should do before flashing anything
4) Go to TWRP/CWM recovery via pressing home + power + volume up button at the same time.
5) Make a nandroid backup if you haven't done so.
6) Use the "Clean to install a new rom" option in Wipe Data and system.(clean installation recommended)
7) (Reminder) Remember that everything you flash you do it at your own risk so do your research before flashing anyhting.
8) Now go to choose to install the rom zip file.
9) Flash the rom. It should take less than 10 minutes till it boots.
9) Enjoy the ROM
PS: CAUTION :
IF U HAVE WIFI PROBLEM GO TO DR KETAN"S THREAD AND FLASH WIFI FIX . BOTH FILES.
[*]smart screen fuctions depends upon your enviroment. if it doesnt work dont ask us. go to brighter sun light and try see tutorials to activate it or see my video (will be out soon.)
[*]If you are afraid to flash mj5 bootloader then read this post fromdr.ketan and try to do what he says. But if you face random reboots or some other strange issues please note that this might be the cause.

How to Add More Apps in Ultra Power Saving Mode (UPSM)
UPSM is good way to save some battery when needed, but only a very limited apps we can use under UPSM. With root access, we can add more apps support in UPSM.
Well, the whole idea of UPSM is to save battery, why on earth we want to add more apps to drain the battery? Because we can :victory:
For the start, our mod will add a few applications so you can test it out before customizing your own application list.
Apps added in our mod:
1) Camera
2) Gallery
3) Torch (included AOSP torch.apk for this feature)
4) Chrome
5) Hangout
Instruction to add more apps to UPSM
1) Download the UPSM_Add_More_Apps.zip from : http://electron-team.com/ADDONS/other/
2) Put zip file in sd card.
3) Boot in recovery and clear cache partition
4) Flash the zip file and reboot your phone
5) Boot into UPSM to test the added applications
How to add your own apps?
6) Go to system/csc and open up allowed_apps_upsm.xml with text editor
7) Add your desired applications. You need to know the application Package Name and the Main Class Name. Check the app's Android.Manifest.xml to find out.
8) Then go to phone data/data/com.sec.android.emergencylauncher/databases/ and delete EmergencyLauncherUPSM.db
9) Reboot your phone.
10) Done.
Note: Music app doesn't work in UPSM because some background services has been turn off.

As some of you know Note 3 features were getting ported to Note 2 at thread MOD: Note3 apps for Note2. We thought that it would be better to release a full rom instead of a mod rom in order to avoid compatibility issues and to be able to solve bugs and bring more N3 features faster, so that's what we did. However we titooo7 doesn't plan to close the MOD thread and hopefully the improvements done here will be posted to the MOD thread.

Go to here to see instructions..
1) remember to have a backup your data and your efs folder. That's something that you always should do before flashing anything
2) Go to CWM recovery via pressing home + power + volume up button at the same time.
3) Use the "Clean to install a new rom" option in Wipe Data and system.(clean installation recommended)
4) Flash the rom. It should take less than 10 minutes till it boots.
4.1) If you can't activate wifi after the first boot we recommend you to flash MJ5 BOOTLOADER IS RECOMMENDED. DO THAT THEN PROCEED. From JOELDROID ROM DOWNLOAD WHERE IT SAYS SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR 3.6 AND ABOVEthank JOEL THE GREAT FOR IT TOO. Remember that everything you flash you do it at your own risk so do your research before flashing anyhting.
4.2) Boot again in the rom and check if wifi works.
8) Enjoy the ROM
PS:
If you are afraid to flash mj5 bootloader then read this post fromdr.ketan and try to do what he says. But if you face random reboots or some other strange issues please note that this might be the cause.

V2 + Fixes
Special Instructions how to flash :
1) remember to backup.
2) go to recovery via pressing home + power + volume up button at the same time.
3) use clean to install a new rom option in wipe data and system.(clean installation recommended)

8) boot in the rom again and enjoy rom. superb smooth and battery life.
9) widget fix fc on other launcher Removed

Installation:
There are two methods to install this port.. Both run over the recovery of his trust. I recommend Team Win Recovery Project.
Method 1:
First make a backup into your recovery!
Flash firstly your ROM, secondly the Camera port and at least your Kernel.
Reboot into System and do the Setup. Check your Camera if everything works.
If it not works and the Camera force close please flash the fix file and check again.

Method 2: ( Does not work on the most ROM's. )
First make a backup into your recovery!
Flash the Camera Mod dirty over your current ROM.
Wipe Cache and Reboot.

I just cleaned up the installation. The camera application is working normally, taking pictures. After taking a picture, I get an error when I go into the gallery to look at the picture and take it back to the camera.
