MIUI V5 4.6.20, multilanguage, with LTE!
Why did I choose to make a 4.1.1 Touchwiz MIUI, and not a 4.2.2 Cyanogenmod MIUI?
The anwser is simple : the version, in MIUI doesn't matter, between both.
4.1.1 will be more stable, more efficient, better and with a great battery life, than a 4.2.2 which is on early beta state.
With Touchwiz based MIUI, you can install Samsung Apps.
It's based on official MIUI rom, so no FC, no bug and so on.
First boot could take more than 2mn.

How to install
You have to installed a custom Recovery. I highly recommend PhilZ Touch. http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2120595
Copy the release you choosed in your external sd card. (exemple, STABLE_MIUI-i9305-4.6.20-mod.zip )
Launch recovery (Volume Up + Home + Lock )
Wipe Data/Factory.
Go to "Install zip"
"Choose zip from external sdcard"
Now navigate to the MIUI zip.
Push Yes.
When it's finish, come back to Menu.
Go to Advanced.
"Wipe Dalvik Cache"
When it's finish, you have a fully working MIUI!
How to enable LTE
- Open the WSM Tools app (include), and click Install.
- Reboot.
- Open WSM Tools, and look if Intelli3G is check.
- Open Intelli3G, and apply this configuration :
- LTE should be enable now.
For check, go to Settings, Mobile Network, Network Type Selection, and check if you have this screen :
If yes, LTE is enable.

Whatever the kernel. Choose which you want ! But the rom is based on stock, with stock kernel. The battery life is just better than TouchWiz. The temperature is the same too. Enjoy!

GingerFroyo 1.0This is only a themed ROM! OkHi guys! Here I am with this Froyo ROM
Because I'm not happy with Gingerbread ROMS (Feel slow to me compared with Froyo) I decided to "port" this theme to this ROM and put this Bootanimation, the result: GingerFroyo
I'm not a dev ok, I just bareboned, optimize some apks and themed NameLessFroyo because I like very much this ROM it's smooth and stable, and I like how Gingerbread looks.
I also bareboned tiny gapps because I don't need a lot of things and we can download from market (Gmail, Maps, Search...). If you need youtube and don't see it in market you can download from here. Please read NameLessFroyo Thread for Overview.

Some people don't like CM based roms so I decide to "port" this theme to a AOSP based rom (DREAMteam Froyo v1.9.1)
This is an extremely barebones rom just includes basics apks ok (No youtube, gmail, maps, etc.) also removed almost all of ringtones, notifications, alarms, fonts...
If you use Custom MTD:
system: 63 (with my gapps, don't know with different gapps)
cache: 2

-Added all fonts (Some apps didn't showed correctly some chars)
-Changed some notification bar colors (now looks more like gingerbread)

Download Fx file explorer from appstore and go to your main storage press menu key and run Rescan storage.
You will have everything showing up in your gallery/Music.

a 'different' kind of rom, as most folks know. too much proprietary stuff in here.
the rom zip is also different from the dev's other rom. maybe it's the customisation.
out of curiosity and wanting to delete unwanted stuff, i opened the rom zip....
well, i tried 3 'variants' of the rom. all of them installed and booted fine.
1. with some stuff removed from /system/app
2. with the /data folder deleted
3. the rom, as downloaded.
in the first 2 cases, even basic customisation is not possible. in the 3rd case, too many notifications despite turning them off.
in short, i couldn't further customise the rom to my liking. needless to say i reverted to stock.
forgot to mention i got system ui fc on all 3. i don't recall the exact situations, though.
thanks for the effort. i'm sure there'll be a few takers for this rom. i'd like to read about their experiences.

i saw that too. dunno what's gonna happen when that update is applied.
if you're gonna update, make sure you have a nandroid backup at hand - to revert, if required.
i couldn't find a way to disable that update-check. also, too much of baidu/xiaomi interference.
a simple thing as trying to set your desired ringtone fetches a load of chinese [email protected] from their servers.
maybe i shouldn't complain; i really didn't spend enough time with the rom to judge harshly.

Its totally a stock MIUI.
So it has many chineses apps (which u can delete without harm)
Dont even bother about about the update
see the picture closely
one word weekly
tell u everything:laugh:
Just switch off that notification.
Just use wsm tool -the exposed of MIUI.
install MI tools, theme authentication
and good togo
My phone looks like almost iphone with ios theme.
Its ok if u dont liked it

Only problem I found when ever I take pic from default camera its viewable, it say like no tumbnail. Is there any solution for that. At present I'm using other camera app

When given update after download, it reboots to recovery and tries to flash but its gets a error message which persist only for a blink of a sec and reboots back to present version. Couldn't even read what's the error

Try clearing chache of camera app.
settings - apps - camera app - clear data - clear chache.

the rom has to be modified.
As they release roms each week updating is just not possible.

Unable to use camera after flashing from kitkat. I dont know what is the problem. flashed the patch file also. tried with other roms. But no JB roms working when flashing from Kitkat

did you turn on lock screen by change screen security to slide, I turn it off on the rom, you have to turn it on

After flashing the rom,flash other cm11 kernel with cwm6.0.5.3 then reboot. after that,flash the fix bug file with some files that help galaxy y run cm11 smoothier and when you reboot choose yes,fix root,and It'll reboot and it'll start optimizing and reboot into recovery once more and flash raisul2010..5396's samurai kernel or there's an easy way that is flash the update SU on chainfire download sever but the seacond option will takes about 2mb of memory when the first option wil only takes 100kb . I have read all the bugs from the previous updates and prior to installing the 2.2 version I have encountered these bugs:
- The root issue (hopefully you can find a way to make it automatic or at least include all the necessary zips with the steps in the post)
- Lock screen lags
- Status bar dark background lag
- Lots of extra apps (at least in my opinion)
- Necessary missing apps such as google play
- Can't add accounts from the settings.
Waiting to hear a reply from you kind brother and Congratulations for the wonderful work again!!

If you want to have Google Play and add your Google account you need to flash Gapps, as in every CM-based rom.

You can use this GAPPS package

I edited the post to add another way to fix root, check the thread again if you guys want to fix the root quickly

I'm on other custom stock rom, how to flash this rom, gapps, kernels, mods, etc?
Can someone post a simple flashing procedure please.

It's simple.First ,boot you phone to recovery and flash this TWRP package
#https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=28622
After that reboot the recovery and you'll see the TWRP menu.Go to wipe,tick every thing except sdcard and swipe the bar.
Then go back to main menu and go to mount,tick every thing except mount system read-only
then go back and choose install then flash the rom,if you want gapps,choose add more zip and choose this gapps package http://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/dl/?id=20183
And don't forget to add flash this superSU package to fix root after first boot
