I use Apex Launcher. Good to use and has no redraw problems.

I use xperia launcher 3.0.you'll find it in themes&apps section...it's lightning fast!
I'm using Apex since I bought XL , used the stock launcher only for 1 week. Apex is a really good launcher and it's very fast ...

usually theme can be change by custom ROM. duno if X8 got custom ROM.
try to use other launcher to change diff style like LauncherPro, ADW launcher.

My phone is a Sony Xperia E, and after I downloaded a couple off apps, my Xperia launcher began to lag like hell. So I downloaded a few launchers and for me I personally like the ADW launcher very much. It's fast, and has a lot of options you can change. I also hear a lot of good stuff about Nova Launcher, but I haven't actually tested it. The Apex launcher is also fast, but I like the options more, ADW gives me.

Grid will drpend on whether you have mdpi or xdpi

i think i have xperia z launcher and widget's and touchwiz off the s4 ill make sure they work first
