how to disable to wake function of the Home button? - Galaxy Note 8.0 (Tablet) Themes and Apps

Guys,
I know some modded Roms give this option of disable the Home button to wake up the device, in order to prevent the device from turn on while in my bag..
but I don't want to flash any ROM (my device is root only, but stock rom).
Do you knwo any app that can do it? change the functionality of the Home button, not to wake up the device?
THanks,
Tomer

The only way I know to disable the home button on the device is to edit a file called gpio-keys.kl but in order to do that your device must be rooted. The file can be found in the /system/usr/keylayout folder. You can use root editor or ES File Explorer's editor to edit the file.

only the link for "today" is remaining in the start menu

help! :|
I wanted to change the shortcuts for programs in the start menu. For example, the opera-link from the subfolder "internet" into the mainfolder, no extra click.
everything was fine and worked - till a soft reset. only the shortcut for "today" is remaining in the start menu, check out the pics below.
I use an energy-ROM from march, an energy from august 2009 worked without problems after moving the shortcuts manually.
so i installed resco explorer, which also has produced no new shortcut entry. but i can start it via homescreen-entry.
how do I get back to a normal menu and can then move the shortcuts for my wish?
and thanks for your help!

Click to collapse
In the windows folder, search for Titanium.Full.Home.xml or Titanium_320x240.cpr and open it with notepad or some text editor and search for Font Size!
You can also search for some files in: Application Data --> Home or the Registry!
I have tried but the size dont change .other way ??
@first disable titanium home screen (change to another) then change cpr file, reboot smartphone and activate Titanium
after restart , the size activated
thanks very much ^^~

[i9003] Data connection on/off button on the notification bar

Hi everyone!
I want to add a "Data Connection on/off button" to the notification bar replacing the "silent on/off button", so it can be used to toggle data on/off quickly.
I'm guessing that it has probably been done already, but I can't find it in the forums.
This is what I mean:

}
In this picture from the Movistar ROM it has already been replaced, so I don't know whether this is configurable in the XXKB3 ROM or if the corresponding apk has to be modified.
I'll start looking to see which APK contains those buttons, any info is welcome!
EDIT: I found them, they are on "twframework-res.apk"

Changing Ringer Type on Lollipop

On KitKat, you could hold the power button and tap what you wanted.
On Lollipop, I've found only one way.
1. Press the volume hardware button
2. Then tap the icon to the left of the volume meter bar
The minor issue I have is this means you're constantly changing the volume level to access this menu.
Is there a similar way, like my Kitkat example, or easier way to change the ringer type (ringer/vibrate/silent) that is native to the OS? I'm not looking for a new application to install to achieve this.
Page 9, sigh.

Then tap on app manager.
Next search for Settings. Should be com.android.settings. Proceed to Actions tab and search for three button nav settings activity. Tap on it then wait for main settings to open. Lastly tap the back arrow in nav bar and you will be able to swap back and recents keys. I have only been able to swap one way not both.
