me301t UMTS USB Stick - no connection - possible roaming problem? - Transformer TF300T Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi.
I own a Me301T and I can connect a Huawei E1550 USB Stick to my Tablet. On a german Board someboy mentioned, this combination works using UMTS Manager.
My tablet is able to see the UMTS stick and to connect. But I cannot access a homepage and the connection is lost after a short time.
Could this be due to the fact my UMTS SIM is using anoter net (roaming)?
On my Nexus I have to activate data roaming to gain internet access.

A virtual 56k modem for dial up?

Is there a program out there that simulates a 56k modem on a Windows Mobile device so that I can connect to the internet using my dialup ISP credentials? If not, how hard would it be to make one? Any other ways to get dial up working on Windows Mobile? I do not have a data plan and would like Internet on my phone.
problem is that gsm devices can't connect to an old analog isp modem connection
back before gprs
the phone company's sold special gsm internet connections so phones which supported it
could be used as modems my old motorola 930 supported that but those
gsm data internet subscriptions were expensive both for having and using
hmm would there be a round about way to do it? like dial a traditional phone from your cell phone witch inturn dials dialup internet. i have wanted something like this before too.
My phone is Verizon (CDMA), not GSM. Don't know if that makes a difference.

Yes, that is what I am looking for. The problem is not the phone, it's that there is no modem in a WM phone. This is what I am looking for; A little program that sort of emulates a physical 56k modem.
when connected to activesync or PAN your phone will have the same network connection as your pc unless you have blocked it
so you can get internet that way
but there is no way that a program can make it possible for you to put in your nomal analog modem connections phone nr and settings and connect that way
programs run inside the operating system and access the network by using the gsm phone module so a program can bypass the gsm system

Conect 3g modem to my phone?

Hello I am about to contract the internet 3g modem for my notebook, u can see a pic here
http://www.clarochile.cl/banda_ancha/prepago.php
I have an htc touch pro 2, anyway I can hook it up there if I would like to?
Thanks
when connected to activesync your phone will have the same network connection as your pc unless you turned it off
you can't use usb devices directly with htc phones
you can most likely put the simcard of the device as they got simscards inside at least places where people use sincards which may exclude some parts of usa into the phone and set the gprs settings correctly and use it that way

CDMA USB Broadband Compatibility

I have a Reliance NetConnect+ (CDMA) USB Broadband modem. As seen here: http://reliancenetconnect.co.in/buynow
Is it possible to detect this hardware in Transformer and use further?. This CDMA USB Stick requires me to dial-in a predefined number(#777) and then supply the username+password credentials.
Thanks.

Airtel E1731 experience in Milagrow tabtop 7.4
I tried to use airtel dongle E1731 in my milagrow tablet. It is getting notification such as roaming, airtel signal icon in task bar. But i'm not getting internet connection activation or msg. Green LED is blinking not glowing continuous. How to resolve this issue?
For all there tablets you need a unlocked huawei dongle with mobile partner software installed in it...
Find such a wcdma dongle..
The benefits of such dongle is you no need to set apn each time you change sim it automatically detects the apn...
we all should be polite enough to press thanks for anyone who helped US.

Isudar PX6 (MTCE) - LTE (4G) stick connected on USB?

I have a Isudar PX6 (MTCE) running Android 10.
Is there a way to connect a LTE dongle to the device using USB?
I don't want a LTE Dongle sharing the connection using WiFi, but I want to share the cellular data connection (to avoid big SW/app updates using cellular data).
I tried with a 3G Huawei E303, without success. It recognizes the device as a Smartphone, and suggest the connection using the "proprietary Android auto" look alike from Isudar. But it says it is not network connected, and I see no way to enter the SIM card's PIN.
Thanks,
Laurent
