How often will the Rom be updated?
These will be Weekly builds.
How do I flash it?
You must be on a compliant recovery. To pen down my experience, latest TWRP works best with this roma for me.[/URL]!
If coming from previous Asylum Omni 4.4 or official Omni 4.4 and you want to do a dirty install:
1. boot into recovery
2. flash the Rom
3. flash the latest SuperSU
4. reboob
If coming from previous Asylum Omni 4.4 and you'd like a clean flash:
1. boot into recovery
2. do a full wife
3. flash the Rom
4. flash the latest SuperSU
5. reboob
If coming from anywhere else:
1. copy Gapps, SuperSU and Asylum Omni Zips to your SDCard
3. reboob into Recovery
4. Wipe data and dalvik cache
7. flash Asylum Omni zip
8. flash Gapps zip
9. flash SuperSU
10. reboob
11. Don't restore system stuff or apps + data using Titanium, it might cause issues

Asylum has stopped using CB versions later than 3.0 because we felt things were good with 3.0 and updations post that were not required by us.
So the version used is tried and tested..
Yes I will be little fast with updates, if I see important cm merges I will build ... It will largely depend on the stuff which gets merged in cm10.2.

Thank you very much, I was becoming too sane after so much time without flashing! It's nice beeing into the black side again :victory: !

Looks nice, I'm going to throw this in my multirom and check it out.
Edit: very nice indeed, smooth and stable from my short time testing it. Very feature rich as well. This gets some random guys seal of approval. :good: I'm going to keep testing it and may even swap it out with my primary rom.
Beautiful!! A little R&R for the Flo.........have been running this rom on my N5 as dd for the last 6 wks. or so, very fast, smooth and haven't had one hiccup at all!! Thanks for bringing it here and "ya'll come and get it"
FYI, a deb build is compling now
Here is my deb build http://d-h.st/vtC . Please let me know if it boots. Once I get confirmation that it works, I will create a forum in the deb section
The rom seems good but i am having problems booting after flashing other kernels, i tried elementalx and glitch botch in the caf-version and it did'nt booted in any of them. Has anyone tried flashing a custom kernel in this ?

edit: Well i tried again glitch and it failed , then i tried ElementalX without changing almost anything from default and it booted, i just added double tap to wake /wich is what i really wanted, the rest was just a bonus) , the first time i canged nearly everything from default and it didn't booted..
Very impressed I've been running this on my Note 3. For a few days now and I'm very impressed going to give this a shot, I have no dought this will be just as great , thanks for all your time and effort........,:good:

great work man
it's nice to see slim came back
Ho ho ho! Nice work mate!
Have been waiting for development of SlimROM for ages, thank you, will definitely try this soon (just wiped clean my phone with CM12 yesterday)
nice work
Nice , really fast, just one thing that i am missing is that i cant turn off the soft keys light :/
Great work for an alpha build!! thanks!
Some initial trouble with the privacy guard. I had to configure manually each application because there's no popup message that asks you to grant or not access to the application when needed.
But after this all works perfectly! :good:
nice work,test it now

2. It is UNOFFICIAL
Around one day on this rom, all good for now. Come from Sazy and battery seem little bit weak, but is normal for lp i think. Very light and fluid feeling. Not a benchmark rom for sure, but runs very smooth. For now stay on it and test it. Love Slim roms anyway.
Great work op and thanks.

Actually battery isn't that bad.
Awesome ROM but i'm in some trouble, even though i've enabled root acces from Dev Options i'm still not able to use root in apps like greenify
I'm using greenify without any issue. I give root access for apps and adb, and all works great.
Edit: after rom instalation, bfore reboot, do you choose "fix root" option?

does not have to xt925
Hi, I tried to install this ROM and had it get stuck at boot with the spinning spheres.
I'm using xt926, starting with a clean install of 4.4.2-KDA20.62-15.1, unlocked and rooted, with TWRP 2.8.6.0 installed.
These are the steps I took:
1) Be rooted w/ a custom recovery - check, as stated above
2) Download EXODUS Rom & Gapps for your device and move them to your phone - Used Exodus 5.1-20150705-Nightly-xt926 and Slim mini Gapps Beta 5.1 build 0.x-20150702, stored on the external SD
3) Reboot to Recovery - check
4) Wipe (Full wipe if coming from another Rom)** - Used Advanced Wipe option in TWRP to wipe data, cache, devlik cache, and system partitions
5) Flash the Rom - check
6) Flash the Gapps** - check
7) Reboot to System - check
The phone gets to the spinning spheres boot screen and hangs.
Any advice on what's going wrong, or what I need to do differently? Thanks.
Does this work with a Jelly Bean Bootloader?
Looks awesome!
Is there some plan to release a XT925 version?!
Thank You!
I came here to check if I could get the Exodus ROM for XT926 - but it appears to be not updated any more.
I am using ExodusROM on Droid Maxx, and this is the best ROM I have seen.
I'm using exodus rom build 20151012 for my xt926 and this rom so far is the most stable than other custom rom and till now i don't have any problem to report here...so far so good
Using this rom for 3 month and allready set as my dailly driver
This rom is awesome and very stable...thanks to exodus team
please support for XT925
Tried this ROM last night. The IMEI number is gone hence the SIM is not recognized anymore.
Installed the latest Dirty Unicorns build (the final release 9.8) and the service was back to normal immediately. So, it appears to be that there is an issue with the recent builds on Team Exodus' ROMs. Another user has reported the same issue on XT1080 device.
Rom Review..................
I flash latest nighties of this ROM last week and now using it for a week now. Notice few thing and want to share here....
1. Rom look is good. Working smoothly without any app installed..
2. After installing the apps like Facebook and whats-app etc Device is bit laggey now.
(Which i can understand that device has only 1 GB of ram and not having quad core processor) Can u light the ROM little bit?
3. Without camera app? Rom is not complete... (i have to use app from cm12.)
4. Working fine no reboot or bug for daily use...
5. One bug is that WiFi will not connect automatically. i have to go to setting and connect it manually
if rom is little bit lighter and wifi issue is solved than it will be perfect rom for daily driver...
awesome
Very smooth, much better than cm nightlies, installed on kkbl with twrp 2.8.5.0
no camera is a bummer though and alot of branding for whatever reason, not a big deal because the rom is so solid
A+
is this ROM also working for xt925 ?
