Good afternoon!
I'm new here and have searched the forum before posting what is going on with my phone ... Was carrying around when finished I removed the charger ai started tinkering on it, I realized that there was waging unplugged it, only to reconnect it hangs on a screen that Samsung Mobile has not come out of it, since Tenti Hard Reset does the normal reset done appears at the end which was successfully done and restarts there and back at the same screen, Samsung Mobile, would have another way to do the same work?

Apologies for starting this thread but I've searched the WP7 forums before posting this.
Last night my phone battery died (as per normal with heavy use), when I plugged it into the charger later in the evening, it turned on and has remained frozen on the start screen "Samsung Omnia7" and doesn't load up as normal from there.
I've left it charging for a few hrs, so I know battery is ok, but everytime I turn it on, it's frozen on that screen.
I've tried a hard reset which takes literally 2 seconds before saying that it's done but then goes back to the same start screen and remains frozen.
Any ideas what to do?

Since you've already hard reset and lost your data, you could try flashing a new ROM from samfirmware.com.
There's a really good guide for doing this in the Omnia 7 forums:

Thanks for the suggestion, will give that a go.
Alternatively, I may just use my phone insurance and arrange a replacement through Orange.
Better get a replacement if can.

You could do that. Flashing would most likely void your warranty so may be worth trying to get a replacement first.
Managed to get a replacement from Orange this evening.
The mods can delete this thread if you want.
Also, just a quick note, connected it to Zune and the NoDo update is still not available unless I push through the method mentioned here on the forums.
I have a samsung facinate i lent my sis in law to use after her strat blew it's mind. Verizon pushed an update, and she has had a lot of problems since then. The phone has started freezing when it's charging, the lock screen won't unlock. Sometimes the phone acts like the processor is dragging, it won't shut down apps like it should. Now it has gotten into a bootloop, it will boot up to the verizon splash screen and won't go any farther. We can get it into manual mode. It is an unmodified, out of the box phone, this is the second samsung that has lost it's mind with her. i had it 2 years and it never acted like this for me, I am wondering if the latest software push was too much for it? How can I get the phone out of the bootloop?
we ended up factory resetting it, it is working again, she has to reload all her apps. We still don't know why it was messing up in the first place

I know its not an Optimus one, but it is basically the same model as the Optimus One, so hear me out.
I have had this phone for two years up until early this week. I was using my Optimus T for regular use when all of a sudden, it started popping up with "application closed unexpectedly" for various applications, then the phone just turned off. I tried turning it back on but it would just freeze at the LG logo, I tried to do a hard factory reset and accidentally put it in "emergency mode!!" As in the one with the yellow screen, so I took out the battery, put it back in, turned on the phone, but the LG logo would only last like three minutes before it would shut down, I put it on the charger and would find that the phone would be in a constant bootloop. I've tried a ton of things to fix this problem, I've searched all over the internet to find a solution to my problem.. nothing worked, I read that I had to root/flash it, but apparently I need the damn thing to be on! Let alone I can't even access the hard factory reset! Please answer this with better solutions, I feel like I'm only one of a thousand android users who have this problem...
Hi,
I have a problem with my Galaxy SIII. It is from Virgin Mobile..
I uploaded a new software update- I tried avoiding this bc the last time I did, my phones battery was horrible and GPS did not work for a better part of a week. However, the upload message would not stop after two weeks, and it would drop my calls when it was giving me the notice/and or trying, it would also knock me off internet. So I did. However, my battery started to go to crap, at 20% it would shut the phone off, later for me to come home, plug it into a charger to be at 30% not 20%. I found that odd. However, it requested again without remorse, almost 30% calls were interrpted and I thought maybe this "Update again" might fix the problems. Nope, my suspicions became true. I seen my phone with the little droid guy and it uploading. However, when I got back to the phone, it was stuck on a Samsung screen. I can power the device on and off, it will go through the motions if you will, but soon as it hits the Samsung title cannot boot past it. To note when doing the " Software Update"- I had my phone on a charger. So cannot boot past Samsung screen and it freezes there.
I can go into Safe Mode if I use the buttons manually. However, I cannot restart the phone in safe mode. A Samsung guy mentioned that there might be a way to manually type commands in safe mode- the ownly thing my phone might be still good for- using a software that would recognize the device and save info onto an SD card before flashing. He found this out by typing a google search, I tried and cannot find it. He stated the data is probably still ok without a flash. However, how did I get data out of this before a flash lol? Any ideas?
