first: welcome
second: search is your friend - not food
third: you probably flashed the wrong cwm or an incompatible build. - what was your last firmware you had installed. Stock Rom? which version?
fourth: when in cwm - can you issue adb reboot bootloader via your pc? and is it booting into fastboot?
fifth: if fastboot works try flashing twrp2 ( http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/tf300t ) here comes 3rd in play since you have to check what Partition tables you have
if all fails: check my post here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=44244313&postcount=12

Device stuck in bootloop?

Hi guys,
So this is my first post but I've been on XDA for a long time. I've been looking for an answer to this problem, and I haven't been successful in finding a post that regards to my situation...
Ok so I just got my tablet today. I upgraded to JB and then I unlocked it using the asus unlocker. I attempted to install TWRP, but when I use .blob files and attempt to load into recovery it didn't work. Anyway, I looked around and I installed CWM recovery instead.
I installed v5.5.0.4 following this guide:
http://theunlockr.com/2012/05/25/how-to-install-clockworkmod-recovery-on-asus-transformer-tf300t/
Now, I notice it's written back in may of 2012 aka before jelly bean... anyway so I installed this using fast boot, and booted into recovery and it worked. I believe I installed the ICS version of CWM. I tried to install Clean Rom v3.3 and I just get bootloops. I can still boot into fastboot and clockwork mod fine.
I tried to install v6.0.1.4 via this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1846554
But once again if I boot into recovery it just does nothing and reboots after a few seconds.
I re-installed v5.5.0.4 and I can wipe data/install everything just as I normally would, and I still have access to Fastboot. Can I get some help on how I can 1 install the correct CWM and 2 install a working rom? I don't think I bricked my device just yet since I can still flash in fastboot etc.
Thanks guys!
You cant't wipe data from bootloader menu, If you do that, you will get unrecoverable brick.
Sorry I believe I mislead you -> I wiped data from within CWM.
Anyway, I used this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1757077
I went back to stock and I think i'll stay there for a little while longer, this process made me nervous (I've rooted my thunderbolt, droid DNA, galaxy tab 2 7" and my friends phones) so anyway I believe I installed the wrong CWM and that caused errors trying to install a JB rom on a ICS CWM... If you have any insight let me know...

My suggestion is to flash the latest stock JB blob.
fastboot -i 0x0B05 flash system blob
fastboot -i 0x0B05 reboot
Once you get it sorted then flash the latest twrp for jb.
Now, when I try flashing blobs and I go to boot into RCK (I believe that's the term...) it just reboots the tablet instead of booting into recovery.
Android software is out of my element, if this was some C (somewhat similar to C) or Matlab I would better understand (I'm a senior Mechanical Engineer in college)
Edit:
Ah didn't see your post. I did what you recommended, and actually, while my device said it was on 4.1.1 JB, when I hold pwr/vol down I see a completely different menu now than last time, so I wonder if perhaps my OTA didn't correctly load everything from the firmware update hmm...

The same way you flashed cwm.
Windows? Start - in search type cmd - press enter
In the cmd window cd to the directory with fastboot.
Hook cable between tablet and usb port on computer.
On tablet hold power and volume down till you see the bootloader menu.
Down volume till you are at the usb symbol - then volume up.
This should put you into fastboot mode - use the commands above.
Wait till the first command completes before you give the second command.
[INDEX][04 Feb 2013]TF300T & TG-INDEX of Roms/Dev Guides/Kernels/Recoveries/etc. You will find the stock firmware here as well as most other needs.
You will have to unzip to get the blob which you should place in the directory with fastboot.
Thank you very much.
So after flashing the most resent blob, I successfully installed CWM recovery and successfully flashed a rom. I'm not sure what the issue was before. Thank you for the help! much appreciated.

A700 - Can't go into Recovery Mode ,OS OK, Root OK, FBoot Unlocked

Hello Guys,
i have made something wrong. i wanted to install the OTA JB Image from internal SD and i was thinking it would work with CWM.
First step i have made is, unlocked the bootloader with adb.exe etc...
The Second Step was to get root and superuser (here maybe i have done something wrong) but in the end i got superuser to work with a patched bootloader or something.
The Third Step i installed CWM and started to flash the recovery image.
But it doesnt go any further, if i try to go into recovery mode, it stucked always at the message "boot recovery kernel". from here its frozen.
i have two recovery images to choice with CWM, One is calling TeamWin Recovery Image and the other is the CWM Recovery. But both doesnt work. I tried to go directly from CWM to the recovery mode and with the Power Button and Vol + Method. Both not working. If i try to boot manually first it says "it update via sdcard" or something, and immiadately it follows the message "boot recovery kernel" and stucked....Nothing happened
Thats a big problem because i cant update anymore and i dont have an externel sd card here. And via google i cant find a solution to this problem.
Is there a Method to install a new Recovery.img via adb? that work properly?
Maybe someone can help me out?
Greetings
Jack
Sorry for my bad English.
[EDIT] i have solved the problem by my own. I've flashed the wrong recovery img. Now i have flashed that version for ICS with vorbeths Easy Root. And now i can Update the version. Hope there will be no more problems...
Please steps

[Q] a700 will not go on boot menu or recovery mode after root

Hello guys sorry about this I'm new to all this. Okay so I unlocked the boot loader and rooted my tablet successfully . I installed cwm and I updated to 6.0.3.1 because it said there was a new update. But when I try to boot my tablet in to recovery mode or boot menu it says entering recovery kernel image but just stays there . I am not able to go on fastboot boot menu recovery mode anything . I am able to use the tablet normally tho but I am not able to go on recovery mode. Did I do somethingwrong or what should i do? I would appreciate some help. Thanks
Re :
Hello,
Did you find a solution ? I have exactly the same problem. My A700 is stuck on this message : "entering recovery kernel image".
I've tried to reinstall Recovery with CMW but the problem is the same !
I hope you have a solution for me

Well, I am going to guess, if you can't do a fastboot flash recovery xxxxxxx.img, and it says successful, but you can't boot immediately to recovery, then more than likely the recovery partition is damaged. And unfortunately, there is little you can do for it except mainboard replacement.
You can try fastbooting a stock recovery image (you can find them here in the forums, just search "stock recovery". Should be ICS and JB available.
If that don't work, Acer Service Center. Acer won't give us the SBK (secure bootloader key) to be able to use NVFlash to diagnose/possibly repair partitions.
I would always advise to NOT USE the Rom Manager app to do a recovery. Reason, you really have 0 idea what it is installing, or who made it.

[Q] [SOLVED] Flashing recovery.img without fastboot?

Hi all!
My power button is stuck as pressed constantly, and cannot be unstuck.
So there is no way to flash recovery image under fastboot;
nor can I flash CWM recovery TOUCH using ROM Manager, due to network reason that cannot be solved from my aspect;
Flashify said "cannot find recovery block", thus unable to flash by it;
GooManager seems only able to flash TWRP that I decide not to use at present.
So what I want to ask is, is there a way, for our Nexus S, to flash recovery by an Android terminal command? Thanks in advance!

Have you tried the 'recovery tools flasher' app? .... just put the recovery image on sd and flash through the app ... it should work

A great lot of thanks! This should be it!
[EDIT]
Tried it, seem to have no use... it said it successfully flashed image, but the recovery is still the old one (TWRP) instead of the one I chose to flash (CWM Touch)

Stuck on Recovery

When I tried to install Slimkat (a custom rom)and it failed, then when I tried to reboot and go out of recovery mode, it took me back to recovery mode. I can't even go into download mode, I can't turn my tablet off either, the only thing that happens when I hold the power button is it reboots. I have ClockworkMod Recovery on my tablet, and I am rooted. I do not know how I can get out of recovery mode (normally I would reboot it and I would be on my home screen). It would be great if someone told me how c:

And how do I do that? I only know how to re install firmware using Odin and being in download mode on my tablet, but I cant do that. I cant open install any apps either, its just stuck on the recovery screen. But I know that if I put a custom rom zip file on my sd card then I can install it in recovery mode but that is the whole reason why I am stuck in recovery mode in the first place D:

This is just a thought, don't know if this will work or not, but maybe you need to have a newer recovery version. What recovery are you using? I know that if the recovery is not current you cannot install the newest slimkat. Maybe you could download Phil's touch recovery and get it on your sdcard, flash that and then reboot recovery and try to flash the slimkat ROM again. It can't hurt as far as I can see. Just a thought, I never had this problem but that is what I would try if I was in your situation.
Heres a link fot philz touch. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2548476
Just make sure you use the correct recovery for your device.
