Next.
Don't create start menu. (as you wish)
Create desktop icon.
Finish. Uncheck if you dont want to start the rooting app now.
3. Start VROOT and root now!
Rooting app started. This will pop-up.
Now connect your device and you it will get detected. (Make sure USB Debugging is turned ON in your device)
Click the Green bottom right button and wait for rooting process to be done.
When this shows up, device will reboot, now you can unplug your device.
4. Now we need to install SuperSU from play store to replace the Chinese root manager called 授权管理 1.0.4.
5. Go to play store and install SuperSU.
6. Start SuperSU and you will be asked for permission by 授权管理 1.0.4, choose 允许(means allow). (Should be the right side option.)
7. SuperSU will prompt to install SU binary, go ahead with OK and it will display successful.
8. Now, freeze 授权管理 1.0.4 in titanium backup, just in case you need it again.
Note: If you uninstall straight away from app manager, you need to make sure SuperSU updated the binary.
9. Re-run SuperSU to make sure everything is alright. You will be prompt again to install SU binary, just do what it asked.
10. After that, you are rooted with SuperSU and 授权管理 1.0.4 will not be there anymore.
Optional
11. If you want to be more assured, in SuperSU app, prepare for a Reinstall in settings. (NOT Full unroot NOT Switch superuser app)
12. SuperSU will be removed and go back to play store to re-download and install.
13. Start SuperSU and SuperSU will prompt to install SU binary, go ahead with OK and it will display successful.

Hi zhuhang.
Thanks for taking the time to post a usable guide for the VROOT method here.
Just wanted to confirm that this works on my Huawei MediaPad 10 Link tablet also.
I suggest that you create a post with a list of all devices with which this rooting method works.
Also, there is a problem when I tried to uninstall the chinese root manager after installing superSU. I am getting error when updating the superSU binary after uninstalling the chinese root manager from Titanium Backup.
Check this and let me know. I will also add this to the ROOT post of the Lenovo A706 thread.
Thanks.

This is the way i uninstall the Chinese Root app without any SuperSU error:
1. After rooting, install any Recovery.
2. Use Titanium Backup to uninstall the Chinese Root app.
3. Flash UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.51.zip via Recovery. Download link: http://download.chainfire.eu/345/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.51.zip
4. Done. :fingers-crossed:

I got it working without flashing anything.
The exact steps I'm not sure, its a bit random, freeze, uninstall, and supersu managed to update its binary.

This Vroot tool just worked for me - Sony Ericsson Xperia Active ST17i, Android version 4.1.B.0587
The other similar tool (eRoot) mentioned in other XDA threads did not work.
No need to use the complicated method of re-flashing older android version! :good:

Thanks OP for the root method. The phone that I used was Sony Xperia ZR LTE. Initially I wanted to just stay with the Chinese Root Manager, but most Chinese Root Managers are too obstructive, they kept pestering me to control app auto startup each and every time I installed a new app. So I decided to replace it with SuperSU instead.
Like few others, I installed SuperSU from App Store, grant it root access from the Chinese Root Manager, ran SuperSU let it installed its own SU binaries or something. Thought that is all, then I disabled the Chinese Root Manager. Unfortunately after that SuperSU was not recognized as the Root Manager.
After a few trial and errors, I found that we have to make SuperSU as System App in order to be able to replace another Root Manager. So what I did was I installed "/system/app mover" from the App Store, grant it root access from the Chinese Root Manager, then converted SuperSU to System App. After that just repeated what I did earlier, grant SuperSU root access, let it installed its binaries, blah blah blah.
After all these, I disabled the Chinese Root Manager, tested that the SuperSU is doing its work, then installed Titanium Backup and uninstalled the Chinese Root Manager from my phone. Viola! Now I have a simple root manager.
Hope it helps people who wanted to have another Root Manager but unable to get it working.

Issues finding 授权管理 1.0.4
Hi !!
Thanks a lot man it worked like a charm on Xperia Ultra Z.
I just have a quick Q, I can't find the 授权管理 1.0.4 in Titanium.
8. Now, freeze 授权管理 1.0.4 in titanium backup, just in case you need it again.
Any clues?

How to root GoClever tablet (TAB R974.2,Rockchip 3066)

I searched around for a few days and tried dozens of ways to crack this baby's root. It was a tough ride and it took me a lot of nerves to keep searching but it did pay off.
The GoClever R974.2 is a rebranded Rockchip 3066 made for the Eastern European market. It's fairly cheap and offers great performance, great set of features and full Google implementation for a very affordable price. I love it.
I tried rooting it with the ICS Root Unlocker 1.0 from sourceforge - but it did not do the trick. Actually, it did it but only partially. A Superuser app was installed, however there was no root access and Superuser wouldn't uninstall either. I did a factory data reset but superuser was still there for some reason :silly:
One thing I noticed is that I can't access the recovery mode, but I think this is another problem which is bound to either the bios or firmware settings and which does not really have anything to do with the rooting. I will make another thread on that when I find a solution.
So yeah I just decided to keep searching and it was not a big surprise to find the solution to root my Chinese tablet is a Chinese program - which only leads me to one conclusion - Chinese people are awesome, but why did they have to make their writing so funking hard to read?
So here's what you need to root this baby via Windows 7 (I did it on 64x but should work on 32x too):
1. Enable USB Debugging and (Settings > Developer Options > USB Debugging) and enable installation of apps from unknown sources (Settings > Security > Unknown Sources).
2. Plug in your device via USB. Open device manager (Control Panel > Device manager). Your tablet should be under "Other Devices > GOCLEVER" since windows can't find a driver for this tablet. You have to install the driver manually. Download the Google usb drivers here:
http://www5.zippyshare.com/v/32478689/file.html
This is a pack of the original Google drivers and a modified version for GoClever, use the original google first and if it doesn't work, try the modified version. Unpack the drivers into a folder.
To install, right click on the GOCLEVER entry in the device manager and click "Update Driver Software...", on the window that opens click "Browse my computer for driver software" then on the next screen click "Let me pick from a list of device drivers from my computer".
On the next screen choose the entry "Show all devices" and click Next. Click the button "Have disk" and on the window that opens click "Browse" find the folder where you have previously unpacked the drivers and point to the directory you want to use (within the folder you unpacked the drivers into choose between either "usb_driver" or "goclever") and choose the file "android_winusb" and click Open, and then click Ok. Choose the entry "Android Composite ADB interface" from the list and click "Next", wait for the installation to finish. The device manager should now have an entry in "Android Phones > Android Composite ADB interface". This is good and means Windows can see the device and we can move on.
3. Keep your tablet plugged into the PC. Download a Chinese program called ZhuoDashi from here:
http://www.multiupload.nl/5L8T1YRAC6
Run ZhuoDaShi installation. It's in chinese but you'll be ok, just keep clicking where the Next button should be.
EDIT: BEFORE RUNNING THE PROGRAM, PLEASE UNINSTALL BLUESTACKS IF YOU HAVE IT INSTALLED. If you have bluestacks installed on your PC, the root program will conflict when trying to root your real device and it will not work. This is probably the case for most Android emulators so uninstall them before attempting to root your goclever tab. Also, temporarily disable security programs like antivirus, anti-spyware or firewall software because those might also interfere.
After the installation, run the program (it's set to run automatically after installation by default). It will detect the device automatically. Under the picture of the device look at the red text that says "Root" and click the blue link beside it.

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Wait for it to finish and voila - you should now have root access!
You can also unroot the device via this program by clicking the orange wrench and screwdriver icon (sixth icon from the left). There will be 2 pirate android icons with the word ROOT contained in the writing below it. The left one is for rooting, the right one is for unrooting.
4. Now you will have an app installed called SuperSU and this is of course the superuser app. However, you will not be able to use this app to have full root access since it's SU.apk is outdated and won't let you manipulate files in the system folder. However, do not uninstall it just yet as it is still useful to grant superuser access, which you will need to install a second newer Superuser app which will update the SU.apk. So now pen the market and find the the app called "Superuser" (by Clockworkmod), then download and install it. Open the app and grant it root access when it requests it via SuperSU and it will then ask you to update the SU so agree to that too and click on install.
Now Superuser (by Clockworkmod) will be the default app managing root access.
If you wish to remove the old SuperSU app, open it and let it update the SU again, then go to settings and click "change superuser app", it will offer to remove itself, agree to that and it should now be gone. Start up Superuser (by Clockworkmod) again and let it install the updated SU again. There, now it should work.
FINALLY your tablet is rooted! HALLELLUYAH! Praise the droid!
I've patched this method together from a ton of forum and blog posts, I don't know all the sources so sorry about that, I hope it works for you!

Hi there, for me it seemed to update via the Chinese app successfully (progress bar went to end, and green writing showed after), but I see no SuperSU app installed.
However, I do see the blue Chinese app installed (blue logo with silver object inside it).
Update:
(1) Installed Root Validator and a terminal emulator.
(2) Ran Root Validator test, and it shows a location for a superuser app /data/app/com.koushikdutta.superuser-1.apk
(3) However, when I try to access it via the terminal is says permission denied.
(4) Also according to Root Validator, the su binary is not found.
W00t, got it rooted.
(1) Reset to factory default
(2) Try Chinese root app
(3) Goto (1)
...on 4th attempt it worked
Go Clever 76.2 ROOT
Hi Guys,
i am in no way a developer, im a complete noob, i once did jailbreak on my sons ipod touch, thats the extent of my experience, however, we recently got him a Go Clever 76.2 tab, and 1 or 2 apps havent installed due to no root access, i tried one click rooting and it never worked, do you think the above mentioned method would work with this model, i only ask as i noticed one of the packages to d-load wasnt for his model, it is 7500 i think.., if you think i would be safer taking it to a shop or not botheering i will defer to your judgement, its just a bit of 'its there so i want to do it ' on my behalf !
Also, the drivers package to download as the pc wont recognize the device, well my pc does recognize it, it comes up in the device section, or is that something different ?
Sorry for being clueless , thanks for any advice
EDIT- After some more tinkering, the Android Composite ADB shows up in my device manager, but the chinese programme wont proceed, still waiting on the pic of tablet/option to root to appear

Hi,
try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2612105
Works for other GoClever tablets as well?
Hi friends. I really wasn't expecting for this tablet to be possible to root, very happy to see that it is! My question: Is the method of rooting using this tutorial only limited to the GoClever R974.2, cause I have a GoClever Terra 72 and want to root it(and since I'm still under waranty, unroot it incase I need to ). I'm still very much a noob in rooting and things alike, so I hope I can get a bit of help. Thanks!
What About goClever Tab R104 ? Has Anyone Tested It On Other Devices ?

I tried it for mine, and it probably would have worked (the rooting software), but the drivers aren't for my tablet, that's why it didn't. Now, where to get drivers that don't exist? (Seriously, I've looked and lookds, there are just NO drivers for the Terra 72 D.
So if you don't have the drivers for your specific tablet, it will not work, at least I think it won't. You can just try it yourself.

Hi mates,I am posting this tutorial because there is no Step by Step Tutorial to Root ASUS ZenFone 5 T00F/T00J running Lollipop and a lot of people are finding it difficult to Root their devices. So here we go.
All credit goes to shakalaca for providing the Root Kit.
Before You Begin :
I won’t be liable if any damage occurs to your device during the process.Proceed at your own risk.
This root method is tested by me on ZenFone 5 T00F/T00J (WW SKU ).Make sure your Build number is WW 3.23.40.52 / 3.23.40.60 / 3.24.40.78 / 3.24.40.87 before proceeding (Go to Settings > About phone > Software information > Build number ).Don’t try on any other ZenFone 5 with different Model/SKU.I can’t vouch for other ZenFones/SKU Versions.
Rooting your phone will void the manufacturer's warranty (You can Unroot anyway).
Backup all the important stuff. In case your device is wiped off .Backup your data to PC.You can use Titanium Backup (Root) / Helium to backup your apps and data.
The battery of the phone should be at least 80% charged.
Requirements :
ASUS Android USB Driver - Download Link
ADB Installer v1.4.2 (Credit goes to Snoop05 ) - Download Link
ZF5_LP_RootKit - Download Link 1 / Download Link 2
USB Data Cable
PC
Instructions :
Step 1: Download Zip file (ZF5_LP_RootKit )
Step 2: Extract the root package on your PC using 7-Zip/WinZip
Step 3: Enable USB debugging on your phone [ Go to Settings >About phone> Software information >Build number. Now tap on Build Number 7 times,it will enable “Developer options” in Settings.Again,go back to Settings > Developer options > Enable the USB debugging (by checking the box against “USB debugging” ) ]
Step 4: Install USB drivers (if you haven't installed ) in your PC ( Check the installed Programs list : Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features )
Step 5: Run ADB Installer v1.4.2 to install ADB drivers and setup ADB on the PC.
Step 6: Connect your phone to the PC using a USB Cable. You will get a pop-up saying “Allow USB debugging” on the phone.Tick the check box that says “ Always allow for this computer” and press OK
Step 7: With the phone connected to the PC, run the “ Root “ (Windows batch file ) file by double click on it.Linux and Mac users should run “Root.sh” file.
Step 8: In your PC,a notification will appear in Command Prompt (cmd),asking you to “Press any key to continue… ”. Press any key on the keyboard. The Root process will start your phone will now reboot into fastboot mode automatically and then start flashing the root files.Don’t interrupt the process, let it complete.
Step 9: Once the process is completed, the phone will reboot automatically.Once the rooting process is finished ,in cmd it will ask you “Press any key to continue… ”.Press any key on the keyboard and disconnect the USB Cable.
Step 10: Once your phone is Rebooted.Check if there is any “SuperSU” app installed in the phone,if it’s installed, the process is successful.

Tested by me on ASUS ZenFone 5 A501CG [Lollipop 5.0] [ASUS_T00J_WW_user_3.23.40.60 and 3.24.40.78 ]
Enjoy!!!

2# Now start the app and you will see it's all in Chinese, just click on the Root Shield Badge ontop of the screen.
3# Let it do its magic installing the scripts most likely it will auto reboot your phone without rooting it,
you must restart the root app again and click on the Badge (like done at step 2#).
~Now you are Rooted but the Superuser is Chinese and what i have noticed it's a temporary Root, if you lose root again just redo step 2#!
4# Download and install SuperSu-2.46 now launch an root app most likely the Chinese app will popup granting
for root permission, you must click on the colored (grant) button to accept.
5# Download an Root browser i.e. File Manager and let it gain Root permission, if SuperSu wont ask for Root it's now save to uninstall the Chinese app.
~From now on you permanently Rooted, don't go installing/modding stuff yet until you made an systems backup!
#Twrp or Cwm Recovery (PC version):
1# Download ADB Driver and install on PC. Download from here; http://www.datafilehost.com/d/2267ab98
2# Download TWRP Setup (thanks to Dees_Troy & Yuweng) and unzip on your PC.
3# Activate USB debugging under developer mode* and connect with USB to your PC.
(done by *tapping 7 times on the build number in the about phone section)
3a# Open the Twrp setup.exe and click on the next button.
3b# Just wait till the installation is completed followed by credits.
3c# On the next window, click on yes to proceed.
3d# Select Start Easy Magic TWRP Installer for MediaTek and click on ok
3e# Click on Yes to auto port.
3f# Now make sure your phone is connected, adb driver installed and usb debugging enabled, then click on OK.
~if you get any pop up msg on your phone screen just click on yes.
Just wait for a few seconds while the setup is been completed,
if the process was successful, your phone should automatically reboot into recovery.
~Now you need to make an full backup with Twrp so that all the files are safe!

Kingroot 4.8 worked, so I ran the TWRP Setup and guess what another way to ruin the phone even further. Stuck in a boot loop now.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUYS GUIDE! It will most likely break your phone from start to finish!
Please provide a reset copy of your system.img and recovery.img for people who have lost their phones due to this guide, it would be very useful as the devices can be restored if adb / fastboot access can be achieved.

Well well QuantumRevenger,
Sorry to hear that this method didn't worked out nicely for you.
Maybe your firmware got upgraded and the recovery didn't stick?!
Did you try the combination Power + Vol Up while the phone is off and enter
the Recovery menu clear Cache + Dalvik after this reboot.
I can't help you with the systems files because i ditched the vodafone firmware for Vanilla 4.4.2 Android.
The only thing i can do for you is point to this thread where i moved towards myself-> MTK devices
Here you will learn an little how your MTK device works, also you can search XDA for an different Easy Magic TWRP or CTR or even Philz!

Hello RHodgett,
It most likely would work because this model bought by Vodafone for their (EU) market.
As we all know it's a cheap china phone suited for Vodafone requirements!
~Not speaking for the firmware updates they push once an while~
But rooting can be done very easy with the given root from my post or even now with the updated
Kingroot 4.8 said by QuantumRevenger. And like for the custom recovery it can get tricky mentioned by QuantumRevenger, i had no problem with this at that moment.
But i urge you to read my answer to QuantumRevenger problem from above, after that you can decide at your own risk.

Good Luck!
Thanks, I'll give this a go when the handset arrives in a few days and report back.
Can you explain how to then install the Vanilla 4.4.2 Android firmware? (or any other suitable stock firmware for the device)

No Problem & you're welcome!,
For flashing roms you need an custom recovery otherwise you can't Flash.
Nobody here is tailoring for our Vodafone branded(China) smart first 6 so you have to go where i send QuantumRevenger towards and where i am. (See post answering QuantumRevenger).
Here you can use the roms and learn more about our MTK devices in general.
For flashing roms you must install in the recovery as an zip file and then you're done!
MTK has other methodes to install but that's for advance users only.

Goodluck.
Hi, I've root using the Chinese apk and root checker says the device is rooted but I wasn't able to install SuperSU 2.46, it keeps saying the binaries need to be updated and it fails every time I update.
Rebooting using the TWRP setup just shows the Powered by android splash. I'm not sure what to do now?
Edit: Ok I've flashed a recovery from the threads you linked, finally got a bootloader working. Now to flash a ROM Got CM12.1 running, thanks!
DID not work for me
So I followed all the steps and everything seemed to work fine. The TWRP software said it was going to reboot into recovery but it is stuck at the android logo screen.
When I hold power button + up key its the same, stuck at the android screen.
When I hold power button + down key it boots into vodafone android.
I'm kind of stuck to what to do now (sorry I am really new to this)?

Darn that's a bummer! It worked for me and had everything running xposed, SuperSu etc. :/
Try another Magic installer use CWM or Phillz, they can be found here or via google.
So weird i bet Vodafone did a firmware push on there bootloader or not all EU firmwares are the same(dat would be pretty nonlogical).
Sorry for the troubles please try the above solution and report back if that fixed it.

The root is an normal APK there are only two zip files here; the TWRP and the SuperSu.
TWRP.zip is an magic installer for your PC with the given USB drivers and Debuging turned on(See my guide).
Now SuperSu.zip can only be installed via an custom recovery like TWRP.
I'm noticing you're trying to flash without an
custom recovery?, that's an no go.
1# Root with given or Kingroot 4.8.
2# Install custom recovery TWRP, CWM or Phillz (Must be an magic installer version via PC) all these versions can be found on Xda.
3# Flash SuperSu via custom recovery and replace the first installed Root!
That's all there is to it, no deeper layers on how-to install.

OK got it. THe only way I could get the APK into my phone is via the phones own browser from this site. I could only move from my pc as a ZIP file only. Hence could not install. But now its done. I think I am rooted now. Root checker still says not rooted, but I can use ES file explorer and have managed to remove a few app. Does this mean it is Rooted?
Can I remove the Rooting apk from the phone now without any adverse impact?
I have also managed to load the TWRP on the SD card. IF I want to Flash a rom, how do I go about it? Can you link and stable ROM which I can use? Need a small tutorial.
AND very many mahy thanks for your support on here and input.

Okay Onlydongles,
I don't think you have Root (yet!), Es browser has an side menu.
Here you must scroll down and select Root Explorer, that's the real test if you got Rooted!
If not install Kingroot 4.8 via your phone browser.
For ROMs you have to go where I send everybody towards ->MTK Devices (link given in answers above).
Flashing ROMs is easy done by custom recovery select the downloaded ROM zip and flash with the given creator instructions B).

Did you update superSU app from playstore, and made it update it's root binary?
TWRP adds a basic root binary that enable the latest superSU app to install it's fully working root binary.

Update superSU manually from playstore, it should tell you if superSU binary isn't installed and might offer you an option to install it uaing TWRP, you can go for this method, or you can try repeating the post method again, as TWRP will ask you agian to root if the root binary wasn't installed. However don't worry, rooting using TWRP sometimes mistakenly miss somethings which cause to fail, but repeating the process will solve it..

SuperSU updated automatically, I did try after it updated and I did try re-rooting from TWRP. It rebooted after I clicked system under reboot section. I saw a previous comment about mounting the system partition. I mounted it and reboot, but it was no longer mounted after rebooting (by clicking reboot then recovery in TWRP). I then tried mounting without rebooting, this produced the same outcome. The phone reboots normally into the os. I also tried using SuperSU to fully unroot. I then tried TWRP again (both without mounting system partition and with mounting system partition). The phone still reboot into the OS. I do believe that I could restart from the beginning if I was able to uninstall SuperSU, but I can't as it was installed as a system app by TWRP.
I appreciate your help and hope you can find a way to make this work.

Hey crackpot360,
Open settings, scroll to the bottom and tap "About device", then tap build number until you unlock developer options.
Now open "Developer options" (above "About device") and scroll down to "root access". Change it to the "apps" setting.
Now, when an app requests superuser permissions it will ask you just as any other superuser app would. You can also choose to allow permanently.
When an app uses superuser it will show a "#" symbol in the Status bar.
To revoke permissions in the future, open the privacy settings, tap "Privacy guard", then tap the menu button at the top and select "Advanced". Then scroll all the way to the right to control the superuser access of apps.
I hope this helps

secondly, Ive already solved the problem by flashing supersu through recovery and updating binaries for it, but now my question is, should i follow through with your steps or just let it be? because everything as of right now is working fine.

Is there any way to remove "Kernel is not seandroid enforcing" and "Recovery is not seandroid enforcing" on the top of the screen on boot splash? I have already installed TWRP and flashed Lineage on it. Phone boots and works just as expected, it is just that little detail that bugs me.

I have the same problem. Can you tell me how to mount my system partition?
I went to mount, then i checked system and clicked the internal storage. After that i went to system=>reboot but it just rebooted. It didn't asked me whether or not my phone is rooted!!
For those who want to root their Samsung Galaxy phone, I recommended to use the TWRP method. Hell man I tried the pre-rooted rom but it mess up my phone like it stop and stuck at samsung logo after rebooting for indefinite time. Luckily though I fix it just installing the Stock ROM. Then use the TWRP method to root my phone. Now it is rooted and updated and working fine. BTW, if the SuperSU asking for installation by Google Play Market or TWRP, use the TWRP because SuperSU is not available in store. It will download the binary of supersu and it will go to twrp recovery and just swipe it and it will install after that it will reboot. After that your phone will be rooted. Just download some root checker app in playstore to see if it is totally rooted. That's it, thanks.

[GUIDE]Rooting, EDXposed and SafetyNet for Realme C12

Before doing anything to device, keep a copy of Stock ROM from here in your PC or SD Card.
Rooting with Magisk
Tutorial:
The procedure is the same whether you're on the stock RealmeUI Rom or on a custom GSI (treble) one or on a custom ROM.
Step 0 - Go to extracted platform tools folder in your PC and Shift + Right Click and choose Open Command Window here and connect the device to PC.
Step 1 - Boot to Recovery with adb reboot recovery and run below commands in command prompt by connecting the device to PC
Code:
adb root
adb pull /dev/block/by-name/boot boot.img
adb reboot
After running after commands you will get boot.img in your platform tools folder of PC. Copy the boot.img to mobile.
Note:- Above commands won't work if you are on GSI/custom ROM rom with stock recovery. So flash TWRP and follow above to get boot.img or use root debugging in ROM if available.
Step 2 - Download and install the latest Magisk app from here on your phone.
Click on the latest Magisk-vX.Y.apk you see in the list to start the download, open the file and install.
Step 3 - On your phone, open up Magisk app.
Click the Magisk Install button as shown below.
Then Select and Patch a File.
Go look for your boot.img you previously copied to your phone and pick it.
Click Let's go! and wait for Magisk to complete the process!

Step 4 - Link your phone to your PC, and grab the file the Magisk app created. It's located in your downloads folder, called magisk_patched_blAh.img.
Step 5 - Paste it where your ADB & Fastboot (Platform Tools) are located, along with the vbmeta.img by downloading from here.
You should now have a folder like this with:
adb(.exe)
fastboot(.exe)
magisk_patched.img
vbmeta.img
Extra files from the platform tools
Step 6 - Link your phone to your PC with the USB cable if not done already.
Step 7 - Shift + Right click in an empty space inside the folder we prepared in Step 7, and click Open Command window here.
Inside the Command window, input the following commands line by line, in order.
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot devices
And make sure your device shows up, should be a bunch of numbers and letters, a couple spaces, and fastboot.
If nothing does, go back to Step 7 and try again.
Code:
fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
fastboot flash boot magisk_patched_blAh.img
fastboot reboot
You're done! Your phone will reboot, hopefully, without a hitch! Open up Magisk app, and check that it's installed.
That said, you will have issues leaving it like this. You need to hide the fact that your phone is rooted, there's no downside to doing it.
Check out the Passing SafetyNet tutorial further down below, it's quick and easy.
For more info, see official Magisk installation instructions at https://topjohnwu.github.io/Magisk/install.html
Passing SafetyNet (Only possible with Magisk. Not with SuperUser on GSI's)
Tutorial:
Enable Magisk Hide inside Magisk app's settings and Install Universal SafetyNet Fix module.
Reboot and enjoy! You're all set and SafetyNet should pass just fine.
Q: Hey, I rooted/edXposed my phone, and now Netflix won't even open, or doesn't work properly, what's up with that?
A:
Well, fortunately, there's an easy fix if you have Magisk. Install the liboemcrypto disabler Magisk module, activate it and reboot.

@Akitake for his guide at here
Now we have root.
We can uninstall system apps with below command in Termux
Code:
su
pm uninstall --user 0 <package_name>
We can use Package Viewer app to know package names.
Getting EDXposed
Spoiler: Click to Show content
Tutorial:
I very much discourage to EdXposed your phone unless you have a very good reason for it.
It's a pain to pass SafetyNet.
It doesn't get updated often.
It has very niche use cases for which it's actually worth it.
That said, I explain it here for people who know what they're getting into and want instructions on how to do it.
This procedure requires to be rooted with Magisk.
Step 1
Inside Magisk app, go to the Modules tab.
Click the search button (bottom right) and search Riru.
Install the Riru module by Rikka.
Activate it and Reboot.
Step 2
Download and install the latest EdXposed Manager, the same way you did with Magisk app when rooting.
Step 3
Open it up, go to the ALPHA tab and click install/update.
It'll start a file download.
Step 4
Go back to Magisk app, Modules tab, except this time click Install from Storage.
Point to the .zip file you just got, located in the Downloads folder of your phone.
At the end of the installation, click reboot.
Step 5
Let's double check your installation is operational.
Go to EdXposed Manager, first tab.
It should say EdXposed Framework is active.
You're done!
You should now be able to install EdXposed modules.
That said, you will have issues with certain apps leaving it like this.
You should to hide the fact that your phone is EdXposed.
Check out the Passing SafetyNet tutorial further down below!

Passing SafetyNet With EDXposed installed
Tutorial:
Again, I highly recommend not EdXposing your phone and sticking to just Magisk if you can help it.
You should also know that this method will show you're passing SafetyNet inside Magisk but it's a pain to do and isn't as well hidden as Magisk alone.
Step 1 - Do the step for Rooted phones listed above if not done already.
Step 2 - In EdXposed Manager, get the HiddenCore Module and activate it.
Step 3 - Now, in the side-menu: Compat List > tick HiddenCore Module.
Step 4 - Then, go to Settings > Framework > Enable "App List mode".
Step 5 - Finally, Applications(Black List) and tick: Android Services Library, Chrome, Google Play services, Google Play Store, Google Services Framework
Reboot and enjoy! You're all set and SafetyNet should pass.

For now, custom ROMs have some issues.
Try flashing GSI using https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/gsi-phh-q-r-gsi-flashing-for-realme-c12.4244979/
Thanks

I didn't tried this before, but flashing Magisk-patched boot.img after update may revive root with all previous modules.
If you got any other method, then let me know here.
Thanks

Can you please send screenshots of settings screen and module section of Magisk app so that I can better understand what's going wrong.

Ah, got the culprit.
Magisk hide and Official Modules Repo are no longer part of Magisk from the developer.
To get those back, we can use older version of Magisk.
I have updated the Magisk apk link for UI 2.0. Uninstall Magisk by choosing 'Uninstall Magisk' in main screen and root again with the updated link.
Also, Universal SafetyNet fix older versions will just work without Riru. You can try https://github.com/kdrag0n/safetynet-fix/releases/download/v1.2.0/safetynet-fix-v1.2.0.zip
Thanks
