Hi, I've found a bug on official 4.2.2 p3113 firmware, when I'm watching videos on fullscreen mode in youtube the navigation bar does not hide and I can't control the video at the bottom!
This problem does not occur in Netflix for example. Anyone can confirm the same? Is there a way to fix this without rooting or going back to CM?

Happens to me on 4.1.1 and 4.2.2 . Probably is a bug with the youtube app itself. We just have to wait till they release a fix.
I wrote a review on the play store about this bug, if they ever read reviews.

Hi guys, may I suggest you all need to download the latest netflix update. Lag is gone, pixelated image is gone, just perfect now, I'm verry happy.

Android market has version 1.6.0 and Amazon market has 1.6.1 , the sound does seem to be synced up better.
yeah i was totally psych'd to see that update show up last night...and with a quick check of a show the audio synch seems to have been improved!!!

I wish they allowed the ability to switch between closed captioning. I can do that when I watch on my desktop, but I cannot do that when I am viewing the video in an app.
Is there a way to make the bottom bar with the soft buttons disappear during full screen video?
That is to have the video fill the WHOLE screen?
The stock player and MX player I have tried don't do this. Is there a solution?
After updating to the newest stock firmware, the default "video player" does it automatically. Other apps such as mx player, youtube, etc. still won't.
Are you talking about 4.0.4? Because I have the P3110 with 4.0.3 witch IS the latest official one and it does not do that
that's how the tablet interface works.
the best any app can do is turn the buttons into faint dots
the video player is a system app that uses a workaround normal apps can't use.
to get around this you either need to root your tablet and use a statusbar toggle app like gmd gesture controls, or install cyanogenmod and enable the setting that makes the system hide the bar instead of camouflaging it.
That gmd app was exactly what I was looking for. Thanx for the tip.
I don't particularly like its gesture control though. You mentioned there are other apps that can do the same (hide the status bar)? Can you list them?

Nope, for the 3110 and the 5110 the latest oficial is 4.0.3. Only for the x100 and the x113 is the 4.0.4.

I'm having the same problem. Started after last youtube update, didn't go away when I upgraded to Jelly Bean. Youtube videos seem to play ok if I launch them from another application, but starting Youtube directly from launcher causes it to crash.

Same here: both on the TF101 and the TF700 the youtube app crashes. As described I am able to watch youtube videos via the play store. Allready deleted all subscriptions but it did not help.

Everything is stock on my phone and I'm running YouTube 5.2.27 with the new KitKat OS. I'm experiencing a bit of stutter/jitter when playing videos on YouTube in both low and high quality. The motion of the video isn't quite fluid. When playing the same vids through Freedi YT player or through the browser, I don' t see this issue at all but I love watching vids on the app the most, but can't stand the stutter.
Is anyone else experiencing the same issues? Sorry if this has been answered, I just couldn't find anything about it asides from the thread above me.

Are you running on 3G, LTE, Wifi? and it has to do with the version of youtube. Currently unnoticed with Franco kernel but may have somthing to do with the release build. Try clearing data/cache to see if that works. If not, uninstall the updates to factory to see if problem persists since that version. Reinstall again and try that as well.

Load a 1080P video and watch it closely it studders a bit compare it with another device running iOS or jelly bean

I just updated to version 1.10.17 and since this I cannot fast forward my mpeg-ts videos anymore (streamed from my VU+ box). This worked just fine the second before the update.

I also ran into the same problem, or worse as I'm forced to watch the entire video in one sitting because if paused, the player restarts from the beginning of the video instead of resuming. Everything was running great yesterday before the update to the new version.
I've the same problem with TS files too. After the recent update, once I touch the scrollbar, it jumps to the beginning of the movie. MPEG2 VOB files also have similar problem, but instead of jumping to the beginning, it seams to jump to random position.
There is also another problem with TS. I can see multiple subtitles in subtitle menu, but the selected subtitle doesn't display. This problem also appears after the recent update.

I just updated to version 1.10.23. The previous problems seems OK now. Thanks for the fix.:good:
for me it still doesn't work with .m2ts files .
Tv records can't go forward.
When i go forward the record return to the begin

It was updated via auto update.
It can be found in Google Play as well. The release date is 2018-11-13.

Hi,
I am using LG V30+, on beta stream of MX player, i am not able to forward or resume the .MKV files in my mobile. but the same version of MX player working fine with Redmi K20.
Is there any particular update or fix need to be done from MX player end ? to fix the issue.

I can no longer FF or skip forward it just snaps back to the original spot. I am now using other players but I used to like MX and would like to be able to use it again.
Same problem with mkv. Always from start, any seeking disabled. I use maximum speed to seek to where I want and use slowest speed instead of pausin. Please, fix.
